“Foam on the short pull espresso was phenomenal paired alongside a Nutella croissant topped with toasted almonds and powder sugar on a Tuesday morning followed by a brief read of a book. Nothing like the patio where it all conjured a memorable experience. May this place remain a gem on the way to the Oceanside.”

“This is one of my favorite local restaurants for nearly 20 years! Cozy dining with great upscale pub food, awesome staff (Dave the bartender rocks!!!) and friendly locals. They have pet-friendly outdoor seating, kid menu, in-house dining, and separate bar with great music on Thursdays and on weekends (Sunday afternoons!) during summer. My favorites are seared ahi salad, salmon fish & chips, burgers, sliders, and the BEST FRENCH FRIES (sweet potato, garlic & regular)!!! BBQ’s oysters from What The Shuck on summer weekends and Sundays (??Please come back again this year Neil). “A tiny gem of a restaurant tucked away in Bodega Bay. Our very pleasant hostess Julia was cognizant of our dietary needs and offered excellent entree alternatives. Their bread pudding is to die for. Turned out to be a very pleasant, albeit impromptu Easter experience for us.”

This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. I will make sure to come back more often in order to unplug and relax completely in this paradisiacal getaway.”

“A perfect cafe, if such a thing can exist. Warm, wonderful, artful space with cool art and a great outdoor space. A great Skatepark right next to the cafe surrounded by redwood trees. The owners are the sweetest couple, the food is SO GOOD. Try the Beach Laffa, you’ll be glad you did. This is the only place in a 50 mile radius that can make a perfect Oatmilk cappuccino.”

“This place has authentic Cajun food! Amazing beef and pork ribs, BBQ chicken, fried catfish, poboys and more. All the sides too! Collard greens, Mac and cheese, okra, red beans and rice, and many many more. And the cornbread waffles and crack butter are a unique touch. And great desserts too!Friendly service and the decor is evocative of Louisiana.”

“Some of the best coffee cake I’ve ever had. Clearly fresh made, tangy, not to sweet, and perfectly spiced and filling. Coffee was good too! The woman working was very nice and efficient. Would recommend if you’re in Bodega Bay!”

“Our experience was absolutely incredible. Letisha helped setup the perfect itinerary a month before our stay and was spot on! She was fantastic to work with and made our stay special. Everyone on staff was professional and held their service to the highest standards. The property, rooms, and dining were top notch. I would recommend Farmhouse Inn to anyone.Make sure to utilize the free wine tastings you get as being a guest of Farmhouse inn. In addition, they will arrange a driver for dinners in Healdsburg so you can focus on the experience. Make sure to give a tip!”

“Not only was at the best, gluten-free scone I’ve ever had in my life, it was the best scone I have ever had in my life in general! Blueberries and orange icing on it was amazing, the workers there were so welcoming and lovely. My iced latte was delicious, and I totally went to this place on a whim, but I will definitely be going back! It was also exciting to see that on St. Patrick’s Day they had gluten free Irish soda bread, and it was also delicious! It is not celiac friendly; however, if you don’t mind Cross contamination and are just gluten intolerant I definitely recommend this place! Or if anything stop by for the coffee/tea!”

“When you pull up and look at the building, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. It's very non-de script, with a couple apartments as part of it. The small restaurant is upstairs, and Larry, the owner, is as nice as can be. Larry is hard to miss -- he's the 7' tall guy in the room. :-) I went for prime rib night and both the food and drinks were great. It's a pleasant little space with a dedicated bar on one side.”

“Delightful seafood specials with large giant cooked crabs, sweet potato fries, fresh fried fish and chips, calamari, smoked salmon, absolutely out of this world taste. My daughter loves the dishes, especially grilled cheese sandwiches. Family favorite.”

“Walked in to get a snack before realizing 95% of the menu was vegan friendly. Didn't realize they served Indian food but was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did. I had low expectations, but decided to give the Indian vegetable kofta a shot and was very pleasantly surprised. If I'm ever in Guerneville again I'd come back, especially given the fact that there aren't nearly as many vegan options as I'd hoped.”

“Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the clam chowder, fish stew (better of the two), and delicious crab sandwiches. The sandwiches were the highlight with lots of crab served on quality buns with a hint of dill from the sauce. Parking is limited and the line can get long, but the food and the staff are excellent!”

“Really nice people working here. We were so happy to find something that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly during a weekend where rain was heavy and often. Parking is limited and lotsa tourists around. Park at the cute country store and buy a soda and then go over to Estero. Great menu, lots of little creative dishes and the service was so nice and friendly and sweet. Well run, deliciously satisfying food, cooked well, and lots of crab based specials that looked awesome. On a quiet part of Highway 1, go here and be impressed and well taken care of. Thanks for the delicious coffee and food!”

“Staying in town. Decided to come in for dinner and drinks. The staff was super friendly. I want to say our server/bar tender was Rhonda. We tried several things on the menu. The Chicken Basket was the real hero. Mozzarella sticks very good. We played a few songs and had a great time before heading to our next bar. Will absolutely return. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good time. This was our vibe all day. Thanks for making my birthday a great one !”

“As someone who's been here long enough to remember Seaside Metal, I'm happy to report that there's another ocean-side restaurant in town. It's got everything from a chowder in a light creamy broth, to oysters both hot and cold. The beet and cheese salad would clean your palate for just about anything, but is especially nice before a crab roll. If you don't try the crab roll, your descendants will never forgive you when they ask for adventures from your childhood. Top notch food and friendly service from owners Greg, Jenny and their staff will at least leave you stuffed and, if you're discriminate, deeply satisfied as well. Get a wine flight, the pours are generous!”

“I stopped by for lunch on a sunny day and this was a home run. The Hitchcock wink just gilds this very pleasant spot. The Birds sits right off the water with multiple levels of scenic, outdoor seating wrapped around the little kitchen where you order and pick up. Pass the single stall bathroom, and you'll find an adjacent building set up as a coffee shop. The menu is simple, but effective. Fish Tacos: Loved them. The fish has a light, crisp batter. They're served with shredded cabbage, fresh pico de gallo, and an avocado sauce on top. Two hearty tacos to an order and so good. Artichoke Fritters: I know this is county fair food, but I loved these. I thought they might be heavy, but they were actually pretty crunchy, frilly, and delicate. They're good with the ranch on the side and a little hot sauce. The portion is honestly giant which is fun. I took my leftovers home and enjoyed them again that night!”

“We've been excited to try Huria's pizza for a while now and finally got the chance this weekend while visiting the area. The pizza was delicious, but I have to say it's the chocolate cake I will be dreaming about! That was maybe the best piece of cake I've ever had! Hurrah to the Huria family! “You have to go here if you visit Bodege Bay. We are obsessed with this place. Some of the biggest ice cream scoops I have ever had. Captain Davey himself works behind the counter and he does not fool around. He was giving it his all scooping ice cream for me and making amazing coffee with his very nice-looking espresso machine. If I lived here I would come once a week. This is a small place and its only one man so if you can go in the middle of the day you will avoid a line. There is not a lot of seating. The hot dog place next door let us use their bathroom.”
