The Farmhand offers a peaceful dining experience with stunning views of the Russian River. Guests can enjoy delicious sandwiches, including the hot pastrami, Reuben, and Willie bird turkey sandwich, along with gluten-free options and healthier choices like the roasted veggie sando. The outdoor patio provides a serene atmosphere, perfect for watching birds and listening to birdsong, although some visitors have noted the presence of yellow jackets. Friendly service and generous portions make it a great spot for lunch, with dietary restrictions catered for. The restaurant is casual and relaxed, with a self-service setup that adds to its charm. Customers often find the sandwiches fresh, huge, and tasty, with quick service. The location near the peaceful river makes it ideal for a laid-back meal with a view. Visitors can choose to dine indoors or outside, with seating overlooking the river being especially lovely. Some enjoy making a picnic from the wide array of to-go goodies, including snacks and sodas. Overall, The Farmhand is a lovely spot for a casual, scenic lunch, and a good local business to support.
