“Working lunch? Yes. What's better than spending the Friday with your vendors and enjoying lunch on carneros? The place is nice - outdoor setting but relaxed. Tons of seating and I like how there's even a play area for the kids.
The menu? It gets better. The shareable items are delightful. I had my fair share of the chicken bites and would order 3 more platters if I could. Now the entrees? Very generous. Delicious and will leave you full. I'll admit, I had a bit of a food coma after this. Can't wait to come back again and bring my family.“

“Sonoma Valley Farmhouse has become our lunch spot, brunch spot and casual dining for dinner spot. Last night we rolled in and Dawa greeted us and suggested a Grenache Wine-we haven't had a superb Grenache in 10 years! Bonus it's local and divine and the bottle Moon Hollow is pictured below. We started with a stracciatella toast with fig on top also pictured that wasn't even on the menu. The owners really understand food and wine pairings (thanks Dawa) and the environment and lighting are both lovely and casual with a great mix of people. These local owners support their local wine and food people as well and they are really showcasing the best of Sonoma's Lifestyle. If you're looking for a great time off the square with easy parking that is filled with locals both young and old, get over here and check it out. They have a varied menu of fresh possibilities. Something for everyone even the little ones.“

“We could not decide if we wanted to stay in Sonoma or Napa. We're glad we stayed in Sonoma and found the Fairmont. It is an older hotel and comes with its charm. The staff was outstanding, luved the wine tasting each evening and splurged and had dinner at Sante (their restaurant). Sante was superb! It was great that they have good bikes that you can use and a shuttle that goes into town on on-going basis. We spent the last afternoon at their spa, which was divine. If you are interested in a spa treatment, be sure to schedule ahead of time!“

“My compliments to the chef and kitchen team, every dish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and clearly made fresh. The use of high-quality, mostly local ingredients truly made a difference. The service was excellent as well. The young woman who helped us, her name started with J—was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, an outstanding dining experience. Definitely worth the 50-minute trip!“

“We stayed at MacArthur Place for three nights and ate breakfast at Layla each morning. I came in with no expectations having not read reviews, but was completely charmed and delighted by how wonderful the staff was at both the resort and the restaurant. Very customer focused and caring. Also, every breakfast we tried was delicious: shirred eggs, oatmeal and omelet were all outstanding. I can’t comment on the lunches and dinners since we did not try those.“
