“Loved my time at The Kitchen sooooo much. DJ's attitude was just superior, and the smash burger was everything we had been promised. One of us had the Ham Panini and it was also the bomb. It was raining pretty good, so we did not have a chance to experience the rooftop dining. Next time! Thanks DJ, you and your team ROCK!!“
“Basically a Garden of Eden... but better, because this garden has Fried Chicken instead of fruit. Tucked behind "ad hoc," is a gravel path that leads into "addendum" -- admittedly thought it was going to be more hype than anything given the attributions, location, and the ubiquitous category it specialized in... but it turned out to be the most impressively delicious fried chicken ever. Frankly I didn't know fried chicken could be so good -- it wasn't greasy, the inside which was juicy and extremely balanced and seasoned through-and-through, the outside was perfectly crunchy with a good consistency, and the finishing touches of salt and rosemary. The side items faded into the background, including the understandably pricey added-on caviar item that didn't really add to the experience headlined by the fried chicken... although the champagne (that comes with the caviar) did work well with fried chicken. Deceivingly casual, besides the location, the entire no frills service format involving ordering out of one shack, picking up at another (bigger) shack, and self seating at basic picnic tables... great for any kind of party whether single travelers to families.“
“My family treated me for my birthday at Ad Hoc this past weekend, and it was fantastic. The Buttermilk fried chicken was incredibly moist and flavorful, with perfectly crispy skin. Even my picky eater approved! We also enjoyed the grilled pork chop, which had a tantalizing smoky flavor and paired beautifully with the horseradish cream sauce. The fried ricotta is an absolute must-have; it's irresistibly delicious. While the Pistachio Cake was good, it truly shined when paired with a cup of coffee. The servers provided excellent service from start to finish, making our experience truly enjoyable. We had a wonderful time.“
“Food was tasty. We had burrito, fish tacos, veggies burger and bacon burger.Food was great, especially since I was not expecting much from a golf grill.Sitting outside was spectacular.Austin, Our server was sweet and on the ball.Price was reasonable. All around nice experience.Parking: Park on the street or in parking lot.“
“Superb atmosphere and food exceeded expectations. Truffle fries were on point crispy and tasty. Burrata with lovely sweet grilled peppers and fresh toasted bread was delicious. Lobster roll had a mild flavor with good consistency. The star was the fresh pesto Fusilli pasta. Perfect texture with a bit of andante. The warm chocolate cookie at the end was perfect. Friendly serving staff. Great outdoor seating to wait for the table to get ready. Only small hiccup was the front desk person said she has checked us in and will let us know to come back when the table is ready but she did not follow up. We waited past our reservation time and then went in to check. She said the table has been ready. Not sure what was going on but that was a bit disappointing. Overall the food was great and good value. I would still go back and be more pro active checking.“
“A must when you are in Yountville!!! You can't go wrong here with the food or just grabbing a drink and sitting in their beautiful courtyard area. My drink was so delicious I got the bebop and id you like sweet but refreshing drinks this one is for you! For dinner we all had the halbit and wow that sauce is so delicious but ao unique!! You can tell the ingredients are so fresh and seasonal here. I highly recommend coming here for dinner if you can as the service is also phenomenal!!!“
“We had a fabulous experience at Bottega! The somm was delightful and led us to a beautiful wine. The brussel sprout salad is a must do. They had an antipasti item that was basically a donut with prosciutto and seasoned mascarpone that I would eat every day if I could! I ordered Spaghetti Alla Sophia Loren for my entree and wow! For what sounds like a very simple dish, it could not have been more flavorful and delicious! Bottega is officially my favorite restaurant in Napa valley.“
“Great spot , think more for lunch. Guacamole and jalapeño queso was good served with freshly made tortilla chips. Crispy salmon salad was excellent, salmon cooked perfect. Hamachi salad was pretty good , needed more acid , salad and dressing was on point . Very good service .“
“The hand pulled mozzarella. That is all that needs to be said. If you come here you MUST order the hand pulled mozzarella. All the other food was really good, but I cannot say enough about the mozzarella. Would recommend with the house made pesto.“
“A small charming restaurant just off the Sonoma square, this lived up to the hype of being on the Michelin list.Upon entering, check out the chalkboard specials - we ended up ordering three dishes from it.Everything was amazing - fresh ingredients, bold flavors. Particular favorite was the scallop, salmon, and uni starter served with daikon radish and micro greens in a light ponzu sauce. The vegetarian risotto was one of the best I’ve tasted, and I almost always order risotto if it’s on the menu. It was the perfect texture, and I would describe it as fresh tasting. Our server recommended the yuzu cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. In hindsight, we should have ordered two.“
“Stoped here with friends for dinner. None of us have ever been here so we went in with open minds and ready to be fed some good food!! So many choices to dine. Inside the restaurant, outside tables or cute yurts that seem to seat about 4 comfortably. Inside is beautiful and rustic. Very comfortable not pretentious. We were given menus but really didn't understand the process until our food server explained that side dishes are served family style in Le Cruset casserole dishes, you just need to pick a couple of proteins to go with them. Our choices: a full loaf of sourdough, fresh picked veggies and their own dip, braised leeks that are meant to be served cold, a whole deboned chicken and a filet of sturgeon. Everything was beyond incredible!! So much flavor!! Everything was extremely fresh. We kept making yum noises and saying OMG after tasting each dish. We couldn't have been happier. All our dishes seemed to compliment each other so well. Our food server was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE...she knew just the right wine to suggest with it and we took her suggestion. She really went ABOVE and BEYOND her job. No I can see whay she was training someone...she really knows the fine art of turning someone's dinner into an experience!! I wish I would have taken pictures but we were too busy eating. 5 stars Charter Oak! You exceeded in all aspects!“
“First time at Mustards Grill, food was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Napa Valley. Husband and I especially enjoyed the crispy calamari. I’m used to having only lime or a dip with calamari, but the salad dressing on the cabbage was bright and flavorful with only a slight curry taste. The famous pork chop did not disappoint, paired with a red cabbage and potatoes. Lamb was tender and cooked perfectly. We had a side of cornbread and a special chocolate cake that was so luscious. Thanks for a nice time!“
“I went to El Dorado for my birthday dinner with my friends We did wine tasting at WALT only 1 min walking distance from El Dorado and we really liked this course. Wine tasting and dinner at nice restaurant was such a good choice! Inside of the restaurant is very spacious and cozy. Only one thing, the grilled salmon which we ordered along with risotto didn't come out at the first time, the our server realized and brought to our table later. Except that, the food was very tasty and we really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I'm the person who especially love the Sonoma vibe and the restaurant definitely made me feel I'm in the nice and cozy town.“
“If you ever have the opportunity to dine at the Gatehouse Restaurant at the CIA you must! The best and most innovative food you will find. We have dined at Michelin restaurants and this was matching the experience. Our server Abby (student of CIA) was amazing. Personable, knowledgeable and professional.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining here for lunch, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views and inviting atmosphere. The food surpassed all expectations. Each dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite was a culinary delight. The staff at this place is incredible. Their professionalism and attention to detail made me feel like a valued guest. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, my lunch was exceptional in every way. The combination of stunning views, delicious food, and impeccable service made me feel like I was on a vacation. I can't wait to return and enjoy another memorable meal.“
“My family and I have eaten at Farmstead many, many times, and the service, food, drinks and ambience is always great and a wonderful experience. The food and wine selections perfectly complement the flavors for an elevated dining experience. The portions are generous, especially the Heritage St. Louis Ribs and the California Arborio Rice - definitely shareable plates. The desserts are always on point. My favorite is the Scharffen Berger Chocolate Cream Pie - house made with a thick graham cracker crust and whipped cream. If you are looking for a true farm to table experience, showcasing fresh and flavorful ingredients from their garden, ranch and vineyards, Farmstead delivers. Price: $$$ Food: ***** Service: ***** Cuisine: American Farmhouse I highly recommend Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch!“
“Our experience at Grace's Table was mostly delightful. The cornbread with lavender honey was a unique and delicious starter. The empanada had a burst of flavors, and the gorgonzola gnocchi featured wonderfully soft and cheesy gnocchi. However, the chocolate cake for dessert was a bit disappointing—dense, dry, and not appetizing. Hence, deducting 1 star for that. Overall, a great dining experience with standout dishes, just a minor hiccup with the dessert.“
“This is my favorite spot for a burger and beer. The food is original and selections outside of the burgers are great too. I could live off the green pepper cheese burger with garlic / sweet potato fries (if I'm feelin froggy then both)“
“This restaurant offers excellent service, but parking at the location requires attention. The dishes are unique, although the lamb shank was too salty. The corn soup is delicious, and the baby pork chops are tasty. However, the table placement is a bit cramped. Overall, it's a good experience!“
“We did the Murder Mystery Dinner train and it was a blast. The actors were fun, the servers were very friendly and competent (on a moving train with people in the aisles), the food was great, the wine was good. Almost everyone was dressed up for the 1920s wedding and it added another level to the experience. It's a fun-filled event that I highly recommend to everyone. I would definitely do it again and any of the other options.“
“Our 2nd time here. We got California Burger and Root Beer Float, both are delicious! Plenty of seating here, your hands may get dirty cause the burger is juicy, but there are outdoor sinks to wash hands. Restroom is clean. I know there are so many good restaurants in the area but if you don't have time to sit down and dine, this is the best option. Highly recommend.“
“First time to Fume'.. my father had the rosemary chicken and Cesar Salad. He said it was quite good. I had the beet salad.. it was terrific. Make sure to order the bread, its out of this world. Service was excellent, Ambiance was good. Can't wait to sit outside, looks quite nice but too cold today. Over all great experience!“
“We were in town for an annual work conference and were very pleased with this restaurant. The location in downtown Napa was great, and there is public parking (on street and free in a public garage) adjacent to the building. It felt like a fun, safe location and the downtown vibe was fun. The food was great - good variety, cooked exactly to our liking and the drinks were SO good! The blood orange margarita was to die for! Our server was very friendly, service was quick and efficient and prices were very reasonable for the quality. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for a great evening!“
“Came here for dinner on our last night in Napa and I was so glad we came. The service was top notch and the patio seating was very calming and beautiful. Our cocktails were great and my husband got the wings appetizer which were yummy. I had the pasta dish with shrimp and I cleaned the plate clean. My husband loved his burger and we ended our meal with the carrot cake, which was perfect! I can't wait to come back!“
“My meal was delicious but the Pork selection that my husband had was like eating an inexpensive ham steak. He would've enjoyed much more a double cut juicy pork chop. Also the crostini topped with shaved truffle had no truffle flavor.“
“Great experience last night at this local Sonoma gem! Smallish menu with lots of starters to share and also some regular size entrees as well. The food was amazing. The service was great and friendly. We had a reservation for later in the evening but we called and they were happy to accommodate our request to come in earlier. I love sitting at the front window when we go with friends or sitting at the bar and watching the chef. Nice ambiance, kind of dark and moody with cool art on the walls. To start, we ordered the buratta. It was delicious. Served with pesto, Calabrian chilies and bread. We also ordered the raw oysters and a green goddess salad. For our mains - 3 of us ordered the boneless beef short ribs served with carrots and mashed potatoes and the other guest ordered the shrimp and grits. Needless to say we cleaned our plates! For dessert, we ordered the butterscotch pit de creme and a hot fudge sundae. I highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect location right on the Sonoma Plaza.“
“Local burger diner spot with good food, nice peeps and an excellent value. Located inside a local strip mall, with a couple of outdoor tables, about half a dozen tables inside and old fashion counter seating. Parking was plentiful on Saturday afternoon. We got a couple of their regular cheeseless burgers with various toppings, wanting to checkout how good they really are without over the top cheese skirt. The order was ready with 5-10 minutes paying at their order area. Made to order fresh ground beef and very fresh sesame seed bun with enough body to hold up the juicy slab of perfectly crusted ground cow. A perfect meat to bun ratio, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions; all dressed in mayo, mustard and a pickles. Pro-tip...wrap the burger in one of the napkins to keep the juice from your shirt and hang on to the burger keep it from falling apart as you devour. Leaving the other hand for fries and beverage. It's pretty savage to eat with two hands but this meal deserves it. Fries are washed and double fried with a crisp bite. You know what I'm talking about. Soda fountain in back with a bottled beer assortment including drafts in the front...did I mention they have an happy hour special? We dropped but over 30 for two burgers, drink, a beer and large fries...real food for real people ducats. Proof that five star places, like the ones up and across the highway...including the other popular burger spot with two outlets nearby...you don't need a fat wallet and hype to get great meal.“
“Overall vibe is clean and friendly. Food was very good. We are from Atlanta and have been here a few days and this is a great breakfast find. We had the Nosh omelette and Chorizo scramble. Ask for the homemade salsa, one of the best I’ve tasted. “
“Stuffed fresh toast was good, not overly sweet. Waffles and chicken was fair.. waffle was great, chicken wasn't my favorite. The meat was juicy but the crust was seasoned with rosemary (I think) and it was too much for breakfast in my opinion. The bacon was good, coffee was great and cute dishes.. all random and thought I was special by getting the Jesus mug!Parking: We were able to park curbside across the street but noticed a parking garage across the way.“
“Excellent food, great atmosphere and terrific service. We started with the calamari which I highly recommend. My father had small Cesar salad, I had the pear salad. My father had corn beef and cabbage and I had the appetizer meat balls which were good. Excellent experience! Highly recommend!“
“We were on our way from Napa to Calistoga and decided to stop by St. Helena for some shopping and to grab some breakfast. It was Saturday morning and we got there at about 11 am. We got so lucky because we were able to get seated right away, even though the place was packed. I wouldn't be surprised if there are long wait times, especially on the weekend. I think the fact that it was raining helped us to get seated quickly. So charming inside, absolutely no frills but you can tell by going in that they have that home cooked charm. I was surprised that their menu was large, quite a diner experience. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with fries. The portions were big and I just had half my sandwich and some fries at the diner since I was supposed to be eating light before going to the spa. The sandwich was delicious, simple but done right. Staff was friendly, bathroom was clean. The establishment does not have their own parking, street parking only. I highly recommend this place.“
“I took my friend here on a Tuesday for brunch. We were seated right away. My friend had the waffle with fresh fruit, and homemade whipped cream. I had a wonderful bowl of hot oatmeal garnished with dried fruits and maple syrup. I had the delicious French pressed coffee and heated cream. Good food and reasonable prices. I will return.“
“Cozy neighborhood spot for us locals. Ok visitors too! Unassuming, tried and true with just the right combination of fresh greens and pub fare with a twist. Great selection of beers. The outdoor patio is so nice on sunny days. Friendly and attentive staff.Kid-friendliness: This is where local families gather.“
“First time here at this restaurant taste of food was greatService was mediocre we order a 300 dollar bottle wine and the sommelier or server never refills or checks on usWe understand that is a busy property by for the price of everything services areMediocrely“
“Cute little place! Food was quite good. Not as many local wine options, but still good! Crispy rice was pretty good as well as the butter beans. Salad and bread were amazing!!! Best bread and olive oil I’ve ever had, as simple as they are.“
“We really love this place. Service is excellent and the small plates are perfect. The corn is truly delicious. We've had it twice and the first time the corn slivers were completely coated in sauce. Second time, only a little. I hope they are consistent with completely coating each piece. Sliced steak is great. Those totchos are WOW. Get them if you like food. I appreciate that you can get well mixed cocktails and higher end booze that you don't commonly see. I will mention again that the service is excellent. It deserves a double mention.“
“One of our favorite places. We went there for our anniversary. Ended up eating in the outside area which is only drinks and appetizers but it was great. We ended up ordering 2 orders of the smoked salmon(a must) and tried 4 different wines....Chappelle Cab was the best. Will go back soon.“
“Elegant, unique, delicious. Worth every dollar. The service is exceptional- professional, timely, attentive. Pleasant dining experience with truly inspired dishes. We have had excellent meals around the world and Press in Mt. Helena is one of the best meals we have enjoyed.“
“I have been coming here ever since I was a kid. 28+ years later and it's still amazing! Guacamole, Bacon & Cheddar burger or the Tri Tip dinner is my favorite. I moved to Texas 12 years ago, but I try to hit Red Rock whenever I'm in town. BEST BURGERS IN THE WORLD!!!! I also feel they have the best Tri Tip I have ever had. And don't forget about their incredible BBQ sauce. My family has even sent it to me because it is just my type. Love it! Service is always great. Back when I was a regular, they were always friendly, always remembered me, and always knew my order..."are you having the burger today or the tri tip?" You can't beat service like that! The place is a cool little restaurant that has a real home feel to it. Great decor and a cute collection of salt & pepper shakers that I'm happy to see they still take seriously. Over the years I have had great meals and great memories here. Kinda holds a special place for me. Add the great food and great service, and it's an all around great place. The other location is good too, but the Lincoln location is my favorite.“
“This place is fantastic. Upon entering you are greeted with smiles and the aroma of the food is out of this world. Everything on the menu is delicious and I am speaking from experience. The outdoor patio is beautiful and the ambiance is just perfect. You can grab a coffee to go but I highly recommend staying for the food and the experience.“
“THE ABSOLUTE BEST fried chicken sandwich and smash burger anywhere!! The fries are unreal. Crunchy but not burnt, just done right! Just a few items in their menu but they do it all the way it should be! Catch this truck when you can! Do it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!“
“A culinary event. Sante at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa provides an exceptional culinary experience with a focus on seasonal ingredients sourced from regional producers. The attentive and personable service provided by Shea S., Forest, Johnathan, and Jeremy elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. From the delicious dishes to the warm hospitality and beautiful ambiance. Sante is a must-visit for food enthusiasts looking for a taste of Sonoma's finest offerings. Each dish is a masterpiece, skillfully crafted to perfection and presented like a culinary theater performance. We enjoyed: - - STARTERS: TSAR NICOULAI CAVIAR & CRISPS BUTTER LETTUCE SALAD SWEET POTATO RAVIOLI KOJI MARINATED QUAIL MAINS: MARY'S DRY AGED DUCK BREAST WILD BLACK COD FLANNERY BEEF HANGAR STEAK 24oz PAINTED HILLS PRIME BONE-IN RIBEYE SIDES: DOUBLE GARLIC MASHED POTATOES GRILLED BROCCOLINI DESERTS: Baklava Citrus Cheesecake PB&J Crème Brûlée Spiced Apple Crisp Chocolate & Apricot Sacher Torte“
“Far and away my favorite lunch spot! Not only is the staff phenomenal, they are mindful of the dietary restrictions of each guest AND attentive. The food is amazing and gluten free friendly! I can't remember the last time I had a hamburger and fries as a Gluten Free eater! I have missed this and was shocked they offered both GF buns and made their fries in separate oil allowing them to be GF. I have spent my last two birthdays there since I love it SO much and d I will always go back. The owners, the staff and the food is fantastic. One last tip, do yourself a favor and order the Brussel Sprout appetizer and WHATEVER season soup they offer.....DELICIOUS!“
“We had a wonderful experience here! They easily accommodated our large group, even when the number of people in our party kept fluctuating. They separated out all of our checks (it was a lot) and never rolled their eyes, like what happens at so many other places. Everyone was super friendly, our servers were fun, attentive and quick and the food was delicious. This is a fun spot in downtown Napa and within walking distance to several other fun places. We highly recommend it and will be back when we return to our work conference again next year. Can't thank everyone at Kitchen Door enough for their great hospitality and for welcoming our group so kindly. Thank you!“
“We visited Napa from Southern Oregon and dined here early, just before 5pm. My husband is a Korean War Veteran and I' a couple decades younger. He had his favorite: braised short ribs and I couldn't resist one of my top temptations: scallops (new diet be damned!). The food was wonderful and the young lady server was attentive and helpful without hovering. The maitre d', in honor of my husband's war service, arranged a special surprise for us to accompany a surprise dessert. The seating and layout worked well for us, as my man uses a transport wheelchair for distance but sits normally at the table--but he does need a nook or edge of the room for hearing. Napa Valley Bistro has it all; room for big gatherings, and romantic corners and service to die for.“
“We had a really nice time yesterday afternoon. Greg did our wine tasting and was very knowledgeable. Nice relaxed environment & he took his time explaining each wine ?. The tour was nice & informative as well. Would come back again & and recommend to others ?.“
“I was SUPER excited to see this new burger spot pop up in the plaza. They took over the old Q BBQ spot, situated in the same plaza as Whole Foods, Trader Joes, OSH Hardware (you get the idea). wts -- you'll know what a pain in the behind it can be sometimes to get in here, it's always busy and there's parking but shiesh, come w/ patience, especially if it's the weekend. Tried their burger and chicken sandwich, both of which taste extremely good. Freshly made w/ unlimited amounts of pickles (they make their own!). They do use brown sugar for their lemonades, which was my first time trying it. At first I was like WT Southern F is this. I had to get use to it. It's still just aight imo. Tried the strawberry lemonade to see if there was a "difference," idk why, lol, there's wasn't any difference other than it had strawberries in it haha. I'd still get it, it was good. I wasn't a fan of their garlic fries, but the kid smashed through those like their life depended on it. All in all, this spot made it to my regular rotation when fast food calls. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You can order through the kiosk or go to the counter to talk to a human. Always friendly, well this location .. I'll have to do another review for another location I went to. Calm down, it was cool there too.“
“Food was so delicious!! We had their special Western Fried Chicken Sandwich. Flavor was on point and chicken was juicy and didn't have to much breading. Also got a coffee shake the flavor was great but I was hoping for more of a thick shake. Staff was super friendly and we got our food fairly quickly since they were very busy. We are so glad we finally stopped by but sad it was their last day opened. Prices are reasonable for the price of food these days.“
“My wife and I went to have lunch prior to seeing a performance at the Blue Note. Conveniently located two blocks away from the venue. Menu prices are slightly on the high side but comparable to downtown Napa. Great music, bathrooms were clean, no debris anywhere. The food was good, the waitress was great. However, the only downside is when we were packing up our leftover food to go. The busboy, instead of bringing boxes to the table for us to pack, he took our food and packed it in the kitchen. The problem was I left mashed potatoes on my plate with a piece of chicken. He threw away the potatoes and boxed the chicken. Needless to say, when I got home to eat my leftovers, I was angry the busboy tossed my potatoes. Will I patronize this restaurant again, definitely! Will I let anyone box up my leftovers...definitely NOT!“
“We came here for dinner after a tasting across the street at Jessup Cellars. Everything we chose from the Happy Hour & regular menu was excellent, as were our drinks and wine menu choices. We were a party of 6. Our server was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful.“
