“This was a great place to stop and have breakfast. My wife had the steak and eggs. I had the "Man size" Hamburger steak and eggs grilled to perfection ? I really enjoyed it. They accommodated our adjustments for eating keto style by offering cottage cheese and tomato slices. I can really see the care and attention of this family owned business. We will stop every time when we pass through. This is good clean whole foods. The staff was awesome and super polite. The prices were very good.“
“All about food and service. In the off chance they might take a while to take your order, don't worry! The food has always come out very fast once they submit the order. Food is always so delicious. This is our favorite breakfast in Vacaville!!Kid-friendliness: We take our 2.5 year old with us, since he was about 2. He loves Heritage house oatmeal, pancakes, and eggs. Not much he won't eat from them....if anything.“
“GOOD LITTLE DINNERBlack Bear diner in Vacaville is a good spot to eat, there's not many other places in Vacaville, and Black Bear Diner is definitely one of the best in this city, which by the way vaca in Portuguese means cow, so the name of this town is cowville hahaha ?Back to what it matters ( Black Bear Diner) has well done decorations and a few teddy bear you can purchase.Definitely try their banana cream pie, it's good“
“The food was incredible!!! Atmosphere was lovely. The service until the food came was lovely (first 30-40 mins). Then our server just disappeared. No quality check, no drink refills, no dessert. By the time we finally saw him again (about 45 minutes later), our party of four was annoyed, so we just paid and left. We'll we back, but definitely hope to be served by someone more attentive.“
“Very lpud place i guess because everyone's hopped up on sugar ?♀️The onion rings were excellent but not enough meat on the phili cheese steakThe jollipanio poppers have cream cheese in them let them cool.Great place to celebrate an older childs birthdayDietary restrictions: I cant have soybean oil, but they used canola and i was able to eat the most delectable onion ringsParking: Not very many spots near by but it was in a huge parking lot but the parking lot is a bit broken up amd you may have to walk farKid-friendliness: If your kid can sit still and not runnaround while waoting for food they are old ebough to celebrate a birthday here.“
“Rarely write restaurant reviews, but my family and I enjoyed this spot so much I had to! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious — especially the Asian Chicken Salad, pulled pork and mashed potatoes. Seriously one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten and I am very picky!“
“Location is right inside pass the Quality Inn. Lots of parking. They had a live band at 9pm on a Friday night and the place definitely filled up. We were a group that hung out I'm the pool table area which had a jukebox and 3 pool tables. We ordered the food upfront and food and drinks were brought to us in a timely manner. Note the salad is huge huge huge! Hubby and I split it and our to go container was still pretty full. The tater skins were super delicious as well. Happy hour is until 7pm and we just made it after so didn't get to take advantage of that. Overall great food I'm a hidden place!“
“Today, 03-14-2024, I arrived to pick up an Uber order, and the young man who was attending to the box did not attend to me, he looked at me in a contemptuous manner, and out of pure racism, he ignored me and attended to another person who I had just arrived, I chose to cancel the Uber order and left the place, rasistas in this place.“
“The staff was very friendly and attentive. Appetizers were hot and fresh. We had the Cajun shrimp pasta, bacon ranch cheese burger, surf and turf and the smokehouse combo. Also tried the lava cake it is big enough for two people and the cheese cake slice is huge.“
“We went to this location twice recently for a late dinner. Very clean, quiet and well lit. Our waitress (same on both visits) was pleasant. Very attentive and shared in some conversation when she was able. We're always happy with the food too. Nicely presented, good portions and hot. This is likely to be our regular stop once a month.“
“Came here on a Saturday morning while traveling. Wait time wasn’t too bad, about 10 minutes with a few groups a head of us. We got sat at a table in an awkward area, but they were able to give us a booth afterwards. My dad and brother had the California Benedict, and I have the breakfast sandwich. The food was good. The only major complaint was that there were sketchy thrifters hanging around the parking lot.“
“Very busy place. However the waitress handle it very well. Unfortunately the chicken fried steak and egg were not good the steak tasted like processed meat of some king the gravy was tasteless. However i would go back to try lunch and dinner.“
“What a little gem in Vacaville. I love the farm to table mentality. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious! I love how they paired their wines to their food! Each complimented the dishes well! I started with the oysters on a half shell which normally I would not get! They were so fresh and the sauce just made them pop! Next I had the whipped feta and beat salad and that was perfectly balanced with flavors! The brut sparkling I had went well with both! For my main course I had the braised short rib stroganoff with the reserve Merlot and wow it all melted in my mouth! The flavors were superb! For dessert I couldn't choose between the decadent chocolate cake with my home town Humboldt creamy ice-cream or the berry lemon cheese cake so I got both! I enjoyed a glass of Malbec with them and it was a great finish! I think the berries on the lemon cheese cake would be delicious with even the chocolate cake! The waiter was cordial and carried himself well! It was such a treat to find this place! I will def return and bring people when I visit the area again! Thanks for a memorable night even if I was a solo diner!“
