“What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!“
“We loved everything about The Dead Fish, except that fact that the nice waitress held out her phone when cashing in and electronically made us choose the amount to tip her with a minimum choice of 18%. I rather pay with a paper invoice and be free in determining the amount of tip.Other than this disturbance, this is an excellent venue and we will hopefully go again!PS: never had a lighter and fresher fish & chips!“
“Guys, these Spicy Fries are UN-BEELIEVABLE!!An extra on the sides menu - wow, these are some VERY special spicy fries - glazed and sweet and spicy and crunchy and perfect! And they are unique to this place! But I have a feeling this kind of special chefs recipe will be imitated elsewhere very soon.R&R is also an excellent place, very simple, great local cozy diner style place, you could bring the whole family, my kids loved it, their tortilla omelette, and their homemade corned beef hash breakfasts were amazing - kids keep begging me to come back. But the real star were these fries, wow. And it's very clear that the family running this business is highly invested in everything there. Great spirit, very attentive, warm service, great place - R&R, Rivera & Ruiz, you've made our family's favorite local Richmond breakfast and lunch (brunch) spot, we'll be back, often I'm sure (craving those fries already!).“
“Very delicious food! I would definitely recommend coming here anytime of the day. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing and they have a variety. The service is fast and the waiters and waitresses are very attentive. The location is a small hole in the wall. It's very delicious and would recommend to stop by and try!“
“Our favorite place in Martinez! We love the food, cocktails, fabulous staff, and live music. You can feel the care that goes into everything they offer. Definitely get reservations because Roxx is popular with the locals and out-of-towners.“
“Solid brunch spot. Food was good, huge portions, and the option for bottomless mimosas. They have some good vegetarian options including an impossible patty. No reservations allowed, but you add your name to the check in list. Took about 30 minutes to get seated for a group of 4 (we arrived at 11am and were seated just after 11:30). We were seated in an outdoor tent that was a bit hot from the sun (no ventilation). Friendly servers and they were definitely busy. Were prompt on refilling mimosas though! Would return.Vegetarian options: Avocado salad was yummy. They also have egg and impossible pattysParking: Plenty of parking“
“Excellent restaurant with a truly remarkable atmosphere and top-notch food. The drinks and the salad were truly outstanding, whereas the burgers and fish were very good but not superlative. Next time we visit, probably will stick to the small plates, which may be the best dishes at an already excellent restaurant. Great for dates and fancy nights out.“
“Ok if I could give 6 stars I would!! It was a Saturday so brunch was in full effect and we had to wait around 30 minutes. It was worth the wait. I had Biscuit and Brisket (no photos too busy enjoying the food) and a margarita. Seriously everything was delicious!! So flavorful. Service was great. They sat us at a larger table so we wouldn't have to wait longer and our server was attentive and fast. We're definitely going back for dinner. And I want to check out their wine spot in Walnut Creek. Oh they have seating outside with heat lamps and inside too. It's family owned and you get a sense of pride from everyone! Go.Parking: The food is good and the folks who know are coming so a full parking lot tells you something. We find parking right across the street.“
“My family and I absolutely love this place! The staff is so nice! They make you feel right at home. Some of our favorites have to be the Santa Fe skillet, chocolate chip pancakes (of course!), French toast, and the Cobb salad! Everything is so reasonably priced and comes in LARGE portions! So come hungry or get ready to ask for a to-go box!“
“We came here for a business lunch, we had reservations at 11:30am. They were quick & easy to make online. It just opened, so it wasn't too busy, but you can see they get packed closer to 12-1230pm. We sat right at the window table. The view was amazing. The service since we walked in was great. Everyone smiled & greeted us. The waitress was great at her job. I really wish I had remembered her name. She interacted with the table, and it was a pleasure to have her serve us. The bussers made sure our plates were cleared & were on top of refilling drinks. We had the prawns & Bruschetta bread as appetizers, delicious! We had the special, which I believe was a spinach noodle w/sausage, mushrooms & tomatoes. It was really good too! Overall, I would definitely visit again!“
“Been going here since I was a child. Top 3 burger joint for me. Everything here is great. Only downside is the price. It's gotten expensive. Can't blame them for that tho.. Everything has gotten expensive.Parking: You can park somewhere on Parker or try to get away with parking in the liquor store parking lot.“
“We went to the Beer pairing night Thursday and as always, service was fabulous, food was exquisite and the beer paired perfectly with each course. I normally don't drink beer but the way it was paired worked so well. Such a lovely evening.“
“Went to try Valentina's for lunch with a friend. Love the open kitchen. Clean. Very attentive staff. Food came out quickly. Very tasty. Highlight of the meal for me was the brioche bread pudding. Looking forward to returning for brunch.“
“Saturday review, so beignets available! The best beignets I've had since I moved to California, but still not quite as good as New Orleans. The Workshop is basically a takeout window, but there are a couple of outside tables, so hopefully you can sit and have your coffee and beignets popping hot.“
“Small, cozy cafe, very friendly service, very good coffee, very abundant and tasty dishes, huge and delicious biscuits... The best of all? Prices are very affordable! I will be backParking: Parking behind the restaurant with plenty of spaces availableKid-friendliness: Family atmosphere“
“Cute restaurant with pretty dishes but the taste is a bit bland (not spicy) for Mexican food, quite oily, and it seems that the 3 dishes we ordered had some sugar or sweetener (they were a bit sweet instead of spicy, making this feel more "Americanized"). The food was good, just not what I typically prefer.“
“Ok so I had the tower of waffle, a biscuit with sausage gravy and the braised brisket. The waffles were really tasty but I was disappointed in the size and cost of the dish (looked different than the menu pictures). The biscuit was ok but the sausage gravy to me was subpar in flavor and bits. The brisket was tasty but again didn't say to me I'd make another trip back for it. The staff was great, the ambience was ok the place was small and parking took a few minutes. They did however have a huge Christmas stripper pole in the middle of the place.Parking: This place is small, they have a parklet which takes up parking spots. Being a small place there can be a line after you wait for parking, I recommend walking or biking in.“
“The most unpretentious high end dining experience in the area. The venue is quaint with seating for about 20. Great choice of music playing softly in the background. I loved the husband/wife team approach. They seem to have the timing of everything really dialed in. They were both very pleasant and took turns serving the guests. The food was very good although the cheese plate with a huge slab of brioche bread was not my favorite course. My favorite dish was the morel with caviar. I also really enjoyed the carbonated pears. I recommend that you give it a shot. I will most likely dine there again.Parking: The parking lot is shared by the other businesses and can get pretty filled up.“
“Me and a few friends went out 'bar hopping' - I'm sober personally - I had asked for a cup of coffee truly not expecting much at all.I shared with my best friend beside me and we talked about it all night. I don't say this lightly ~It was the best cup of coffee I have ever had~“
“EVERYTHING is sooooo good! And she makes the BEST impossible burgers! So delicious you don't even realize it's NOT real meat! One of my FAVORITE go to places! The owner is so sweet and makes sure you leave happy and full! ?Wheelchair accessibility: I'm disabled and have no issues getting in and out.“
“Music in SJ was loud hip hop. I felt like I should have been twerking and booty popping the whole time. I was expecting something a little more calm and relaxing. I would have stayed longer for after dinner drinks but it was like being in a night club, I was disappointedParking: All good“
“Got a craving for a chili cheese dog?? Well look no further! Chars has the best Dawgs in Solano County! The Gem of the Tannery Building downtown, they offer every kinda hotdog flavor combo you could dream up! They have burgers too but for me it's all about the hotdogs and fries!Parking: Free street parking and parking at the Benicia Green.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love a hotdog!“
“Such a cool treasure! The location is a historical neighborhood with a view of San Pablo Bay and train line.Staff were fun, engaging and welcoming.Wish we had 3 more hours to take in all the tchotchkes and historical pieces. The Warehouse is a rare and special gem.“
“First time here, the food is great and the menu is a good variety of both breakfast and lunch. The place is a little crowded sometimes, waited a while for seating and service, but the food is good and seems to be a good value. I don't like to pay over $20 for a breakfast plate, here you can do for $12 or $15 so thats good with me.“
“I’m a local and I’ve been here several times in the weeks since it opened, and I've enjoyed the experience each time. I’ve had two different sandwiches for lunch — the Pesto and the Chipotle, both of them fresh and tasty — and a good sesame bagel with cream cheese for breakfast (to go). The place itself is light and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and parking looks really easy (but I walked). Highly recommended!“
“We mainly come here for their $1 Taco Tuesdays, which are excellent and better than a lot of the restaurant tacos which cost a lot more. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and if you're not a beer drinker soft drink or coffee refills are plentiful. One semi-negative is that I don't think their Thursday special "Big Max" is as good as the Mickey D's variety. Haven't tried their weekend breakfast yet but on the menu it looks good.“
“Glorified fast food for me. Cafeteria style ordering and get your food at the counter when they call your name. My bf loved his cold sandwich and my grilled veggie panini was only ok. Mozzarella, avo, tomatoes, and bread. No seasoning to speak of. I ordered fries for $2.50 extra and wasn't offered ketchup. What is that weird batter they coat fries with now a days? It's supposed to be an old fashioned deli style establishment per its namesake, plus the Marilyn Monroe decor. I had to go to the counter several times to grab napkins, salt, and ketchup to tolerate the bland and messy food. I would visit again in a pinch but probably get a cold sandwich and pass on the fries.Vegetarian options: Mostly meat. No meat alternatives but you could build your own veggie sandwich or get the bland panini.“
“I know thee owner and have been there alot as I grew up in pinole a block my wife worked there it was her first job . We love the corn dogs there as well as the sundae that is to die for . That said come to fosters u will be quite satisfied.Parking: Easy and closeKid-friendliness: No play structure but is kid environment friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“My wife and I are from a small town south of Houston and let me tell you this place is the real deal. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. Thank you Momo’s for the great experience see you Saturday.Parking: Easy parkingKid-friendliness: Plenty of options for the kids“
“I normally see Martinez from the water while going somewhere other than here or there to plunk little things in the water in hope of catching bigger things. But, today I have been sent on a mission, a mission of mercy, that's right Pilgrim, a mission of mercy for babyback ribs from the Slow Hand BBQ in Martinez. My old pal Fiddycal Bigbore is going down for the count because his tubbutt squeeze went and sold his fishin boat when he wasn't lookin! And, he ain't going to do nothin because she's as mean as a poked bobcat! But he's gonna get even by eating a batch of babyback ribs from the Slow Hand BBQ, and he's not sharing with her! Fiddy says they're the best BBQ ribs ever! And I gotta pick um up because he's to upset about the boat. He got his bones, and ate them right in front of Tunia and she was spittin fire! I'll tell you, I wouldn't have missed it! And those babyback ribs....he said they were Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆“
“Loved Loved Loved this place. The drinks were yummy, the food was delicious. The service was awesome. Definitely a must try.. I ordered the Seafood Grill. I enjoyed every bite but I just loved the deep fried polenta. So good!!! Perfect place for any occasion.“
“A small bar with character. We stopped here on a late Sunday evening originally looking to have dinner not realizing a lot of places close early on Sunday. When we walked in the server informed us they had just shut down the kitchen we were understanding and headed out, we were then found down the street and they asked if we wanted to come back for pizza they would turn the oven back on. Honestly, it’s little things like this that make a business. Just this small gesture was very meaningful and to our surprised the pizzas and cocktails were delicious. To the business owner thank you for caring about your guests and for going above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back soon!“
“Our first time at Sal's and we were definitely happy and satisfied with the service and the food was great. The kids finished everything on their plates, and so did my boyfriend and myself. We definitely will comeback and recommend trying this cute little place in Martinez.“
“Just had a great brunch with my daughter at Sherry's Kitchen! The food and service are consistently excellent. They had flyers up announcing that they are moving to a new location next week, and I wanted to post a picture of that flyer as a heads-up.“
“Good food. The younger girl spilled the smoothie all over the cup. Didn’t wipe it. And then tried to have me carry it. I almost ruined my outfit. I won’t be back for a while. Girl with the ponytail with highlights. Then they forget my raspberry bar. And when I TURN AROUND ALMOST 15 MINS AWAY TO GET IT, the young boy says “Did you forget your bar?” Like no. YOU guys forgot it. Never handed it to me. Nothing. They need to do better. Seriously.“
“Great staff with great service at all times....I got a fresh made to order 8pc after 11pm on a Sunday that's excellent service and was not expected at all, thought it was too late, glad I asked ? fresh and fried halal chicken, taste/quality/service all ?“
“Gotta give props to Curbside Kitchen and their flavorful Filipinx inspired burgers! Love how they are representing the PI culture and their food truck is conveniently available next to Armistice Brewery, which has great ambiance. Perfect food pairing with beer! The owners are nice and it took about 10 min for them to whip up my signature Curbside burger, which has Tocino (Filipino bacon) and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The beef patty was hot and flavorful, the brioche bun was a nice bite, the pickled veggies gave a nice acid pop to tickle the tastebuds- everything was hot and fresh and the portion was just enough. Will try their lumpia and other items when I'm back - they also do catering with an extended menu!“
“It was our first time visiting. We were greeted and got all the information necessary to be able to order the items we wanted. Gabe helped us and was so very kind and helpful throughout our experience. The patty melt was great as were the pastrami sandwiches. The French fries were amazing!! We also got rootbeer, a milkshake, ice cream and more. Everything was delicious and the service was over the top!! Gabe couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We've already been back again to enjoy your establishment.“
“They catered a prayer breakfast at our church on 8/26/23. They arrived early to set up. Plenty of grits, bacon, pancakes, eggs, fruit, and beverages. We had plenty to take home afterward. Fairly priced. Friendly staff. Caterer willing to travel. I am looking forward to using them again for future events.“
“I got the club sandwich and it was surprisingly really good! The waitress also suggested a cup of peaches, i had no idea i wanted that and it was good as well. Sadly i wanted the french dip or the American dip but they were out of french rolls but that just means i can come back and enjoy it another time. Cool American diner.“
“My fiancée was going here EVERY single day before we got together. The staff all know Jason by name and great him. They even bring his ice tea without being prompted. I love the Caesar salad. Lately we've been ordering the pork chops and they're always so good. Lately it hasn't been too busy either which is unfortunate because this place should be more busy based on the food and service alone.“
“I love this place . It is my guilty pleasure the burger combinations are great. It's the quality of meat that makes the burger amazing. If I could eat here everyday I would !!!!the staff has always been super nice just adds to the great tasting burgers“
“I've loved Joy of Eating for as long as I can remember....over 35 years....Moved out of state 7 years ago and on my last quick trip back to vallejo, our first stop as soon as we drove into town was Joy of Eating...Just as I remembered it! Food was delivered quick and was delicious...THE BREAD...I MISS IT SO MUCH....it is Soooo good! The server said the buildings on the whole block had recently been purchased.....I fear the new owners will be tearing it done....but I hope not.“
“Ate here last week. It was fine! It wasn't amazing but it didn't suck either. I eat breakfast out often and I am always searching for hidden gems. This isn't a place I would return to when there are so many better options. .“
“This is the original place that has been at Richmond for 20 years. The building was sold so they have now moved to this sports bar. The food is still the same great flavor, just perfect in every way. There are a lot more indoor seating as well and you have more drinks option as it is in a bar.“
“I am sure that Lucca has many delicious dishes; I can only speak to a simple lunch I had there. My lunch companion and I were pleased to be able to sit outside in front. It was very noisy and crowded inside. I had the $12 grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque soup. The bowl of soup was not very warm and there wasn't much of it, but it was good. The sandwich was just laughable. It tasted like Velveeta cheese in Wonder bread. I had expected a more interesting bread and cheese. This was what I used to make for my children when they were young! It was fun to sit outside and watch the passing parade. The servers did their best. There are obviously better choices than what I had ! But I expected much more from such a highly regarded restaurant.“
“Salmon Fettuccine is a sure fire hit. Was a bit noisy and it hampered communication with the waitress, they also have no printed menu they want you to scan one of them silly square barcode things which I don't have the barcode reader on my phone. It was late at night and raining but did peak at the outdoor area and felt some brunch on a bright sunny mid-morning would rock. But then leaving I saw a sign on the door no refunds because of the bees, leaves, flies n mosquitoes.. must be pretty bad if they had to post that.“
“Went with a group of 17 for a birthday dinner that being said they didn't seem to be able to handle a group that size even tho it was reserved 3 weeks in advance. Took 2 hrs for them to take our order. They gave us plenty of bread while we waited but the wait was long. Drinks were great staff was “
“I will gladly be the first to review this burger GEM!Really great quality food, sustainable packaging, and d-(f-ing)-licious. Like legit good- thick patty, juicy, incredible flavor. Better than Bud's Giant Burgers (and that is saying something!)Chocolate shake was on point- better than In-n-Out and DQ - much more flavorful it tastes like dark chocolate... mmm :)Ordered via DoorDash and it was delivered with care.“
“Been living in Crockett for some time now and this was our first time here. If you're looking for a refreshing, piled on, delicious sandwich... you've got to come to Lucia's!!! ?Great and friendly customer service. Best time to come is mid morning and mid afternoon so you'll miss the breakfast and lunch rush.We had the prosciutto, apple wood smoked ham, and mortadella sandwiches... YUMMY!!!“
