Definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I also tried a chicken Cesar salad- that wasn't as good as the sandwich. Before I left- I grabbed an espresso that was amazing.
It should not be difficult to make a great sandwich, but so many delis fail at this simple task. Lucia's not one of these! I wish every small town had a sandwich maker that cared as much as these guys do about their ingredients, balance, and construction. The owner guided me to the mortadella, easy egg sandwich, it was easily one of the best sandwiches I have had in recent memory. Perfect as a brunch sandwich with the egg. Super generous sandwiches, high quality ingredients, very informal atmosphere. For what it is, a small sandwich bar, this place is great! I got the Italian one trip and a grilled sandwich on another trip. Both were yummy and satisfying. The Italian was a bit wet and drippy towards the end tho. People behind the counter are super nice. Seems like the kind of place people go out of their was to visit. You do get too much to eat in a single sitting tho, consider sharing a sandwich...read full review
