“Always comfortable with good food and friendly staff. The main problem with Fat Apples is that you have to walk past huge pastry cases loaded with house-made pastries, cookies and pies. The specials are great. My favorite specials are the chicken schnitzel with their sublime spaetzel ( I've yet to encounter other such delicate spaetzel in the area) and anything with their salsa verde. You'll walk out satisfied and probably carrying a bag of those insidiously displayed cookies. Or a pastry. Or a pie.Vegetarian options: There's vegetarian pizza if you get there early enough. All salads can be made vegetarian and vegan, on request. Breakfast selections include a great garden scramble, which can be made vegan if you request no cheese.Parking: Parking can be difficult on a weekend morning. Popular place.Kid-friendliness: This is a favorite place with families. The menu is easy and inviting for kids. It's not unusual to see big family groups of multiple generations. People bring their kids for meals after they finish their kung fu lessons across the street. You just have to get the kids past the cookies.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible with ramps, flat surfaces, large restrooms with safety rails.“
“Visited when I went stopped by the area to go look for a store. It was a nice and cozy IHOP resteraunt in the corner of a strip mall. The person who served us was polite and overall enjoyed sitting down on a nice rainy day. I ordered eggs, sausage, and any pancakes of my choosing. I chose the (strawberry banana one, of course). It was so soft and delicious with the whipped cream, adding a nice touch. Like most IHOP places I've been, there were only the original syrup flavors, but then again, I'm not sure if I have to ask for the iconic flavors myself. Overall, 10/10. I'm stopping by again when I come back to El Cerrito.Parking: Plenty of parking in the small strip small.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of items to choose from for your child.“
“I came in the past week are experience was very delightful it was very clean and it looked remodel recently. we were seated very fast the coffee was very good . The staff and management was very polite they took really good care of me and my friend. We got a bourbon skillet and a southwest Benny, the bourbon skillet was very flavorful chicken was crisp and tasty the southwest Benny was very delicious it was made to perfection and well made not like other places. I 1000% would recommend this Dennys out of anyone in the bay area amazing team and service would come back.“
“Have been wanting to try this for so long. Finally made my way here. Exceeded my expectations. I love all types of asian food. Fusion is generally hard to do well. Elevated fusion is even harder. Everything was really unique and delicious.“
“Oh my GOODNESS this place did not disappoint. We had to make a reservation some 30 days in advance but it was well worth it.There’s something so easy about having a little plate brought around right to you and being able to say “Yes I want that right now please” and just being able to eat it immediately. Absolutely divine. And the flavors were just I N C R E D I B L E. Every dish had some many layers to it, it was just amazing.1000/10 would recommend!“
“from the creators of state bird comes another new american restaurant, more geared towards family style dishes. all of the dishes were tasty, ranging from good to amazing with a similar flavor profile as their sister restaurants so if you love state bird, you’ll love the progress. overall, the dishes were tasty but i was blown away by the cocktail.one punch man: one of the best cocktails i’ve ever had. perfectly balanced milk punch with nice creaminess, freshnessradicchio and point reyes salad: refreshing and tasty, good starter but nothing mind blowing. the cheese was deliciousartichoke toast: ordered based on waiter rec and glad we listened. best dish of the night. rich from the artichoke but the vinegar cut through. toast itself was perfectly made.brown butter seaweed noodles: would recommend! tasty umami flavor, al dente noodles. smaller portions tho.duck: perfectly cooked duck, not too chewy and nice smoky flavor. the wing was cooked through and also extremely flavorful. the two styles of cooking complimented each other. fried rice and kimchi were also tasty. pretty big portions, good to share with 4ppl.“
“This is my very favorite place to eat in the Bay Area. My husband and I always feel like we are absolute criminals when we eat here because we don't believe there can actually be food this good. Everything is perfect in this place, from the drinks, to the apps, to the coffee at the end of the meal. Definitely eat here. When you are done and on the way home, you will feel thrilled and victorious like you have stolen your own car!“
“Going to a show, this is a great place to stop before the show. Just make sure you make a reservation, without one you’ll end up on the waitlist. The servers are great about asking what time your show is to make sure you’re out on time. Unfortunately, we felt ignored at the bar for way too long. We were there almost 15 min before we got a drink, and this is a lifetime when you’re sitting at the bar that holds 11 people total. Food was very good! The raclette foam could have had more raclette flavor, but I am just a good old cheese head. The duck was absolutely worth the order, I love this rich meaty dish and the way the pom seeds cut through the heaviness and add a burst of palate cleansing between each bite.“
“What a gem! Small but quaint cafe. Full bar, a couple TVs in the bar. Came in for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! Bree was a server. She was super attentive and took good care of us. The Summit breakfast was really good. Biscuits were fresh, gravy had amazing flavor. Eggs were cooked as ordered, and hashbrowns were tasty. Good size portions so you could share. We also ordered the kids' French toast with bacon. Food came out piping hot and flavorful. On the weekends, they have Menudo and Eggs Benedict. They offer a great variety, Chilaquiles, machaca, and breakfast burritos. As I previously said, the place is small, so you may have a little wait, it's so worth it! Highly recommend, and this is now one of our favorite places.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu has breakfast and lunch.“
