I was a little confused on how dine in worked, and had to ask a guest about water refills but overall was satisfied with my meal and service. Got a cookie and pastry to go and those were very good too!“

“I'm gonna give this a 4.8 star, I got this delivered, the packaging was secured and properly done, yet came with no straw, the fries not that crunchy or anything but that's fine, the drink was a rootbeer, was watered down some but again it's delivered, the Burger itself was absolutely delicious, meat cooked perfectly, tomatoes cut nicely, the lettuce was a bit brown but that's nothing, the bottom bun was a little soggy but that's fine (again delivered) but over all amazing I would recommend this place 100% but do go inside, just so your food doesn't get soggy or drink get watered down. :)“

“We walked in on NYE without a reservation and they graciously found us a spot in the bar area. Service was on point and staff were festively dressed! I love a crafty cocktail but most are too sweet. I had the Smokey mezcal cocktail 🍹. Perfection. Appetizers were delish as well. Perfect way to start our NYE celebrations.“

We we rather disappointed recently when we called to make reservations for 4 for lunch on 2/25/2022 and were informed they only take reservations for 5 or more. Is this true ? If so they should so state on their web site.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“Had afternoon tea here twice; the first time for 2 persons, the second time for 3. Tea selection and the atmosphere was outstanding, service was ok.
During my first visit, the food for 2 was nicely presented on a tiered platter, beautiful and appetizing.
However on my second visit, I was very disappointed with the food presentation; a 2-person tiered platter was used to hold food for a party of 3. As a result, the food was literally piled on to the platter on each tier. This must be a presentation mistake which compromised our dining experience. The visual appeal was lost and somehow the food did not taste as good as the first time…😟“

“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. The only names I received were Mar, Janeka, Dom and Tone but everyone was incredible and we definitely will be back.“

“This is everything I want from a deli, nothing more nothing less. My son loves the pastrami sandwich and always asks to come here. The Dutch Crunch is on a different level here… feels like a free upgrade to every sandwich tbh! In addition to the pastrami, I also love the Italian and the Ultimate Veggie sandwich. Haven’t tried the panini options but they seem popular bc people are always ordering it when I’m waiting for my order. Oh and huge chip selection is also a plus!“

“My friends and I came here yesterday for cookies after a walk on the beach, and despite looking quite casual for such a nice restaurant we had such a great experience with the staff! Two staff were new (the lady was so competent for a new employee, you go girl!) and extremely nice, and the woman whipping up the desserts behind was the sweetest and gave us a few extra beignets to share :)

The best part (aside from the delicious food) was when the man at the register called my friend sir, a rare moment he was correctly gendered. We were all so happy! The desserts were also fabulous, cookies were GIANT and yummy, we particularly enjoyed the snickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin, the beignets were truly to die for, and the passionfruit lemon cake was such a good deal with real lilikoi flavor (Hawaiian approved)!“

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

“I ordered a sandwich with two sides of gravy through Uber Eats for pickup. When I arrived, the chefs said my order had already been taken and refused to remake it, even though I showed my receipt. The manager came out and was very rude, despite me explaining I’m a regular customer who even picked up my annual Thanksgiving meal the day before. After accusing me of “screaming” (though I was speaking calmly over the loud music), they finally remade the order but shoved it at me and pushed me out. I live a block away and may give them another chance, but beware online pickup orders can get mishandled here.“

“The service was amazing from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were delightfully boozy and well-crafted, making them the perfect complement to the meal. Dessert was especially memorable, with multiple layers and components that came together in a unique and interesting way.

My only regret is not calling ahead for a reservation on a Friday night, as the restaurant was understandably busy. I'll definitely be planning ahead next time because I will absolutely be coming back!“

“Beeryland is absolutely fantastic. I've been coming here for the star trek trivia for almost two years. The adult slushies are yummy, and so is most of the food. I don't know if the kimchi grilled cheese is still on the menu, but it's a divisive item. My friends like it but I despise it. Use caution. As you can see by the state of my AmInal Fries (yes the spelling is correct), I am one happy customer. Four stars on the atmosphere because the bathroom could use a facelift, but it is a bar. “Small little cocina tucked around the back of a gas station in a small neighborhood. Had a nice outdoor seating area. The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly. Ordered the tuna melt and garlic fries, and wow, was it amazing. There was a steady stream of take out and dine in customers, so we could tell it was a popular local spot. We wish we lived locally and we'd eat here more. The menu has many delicious options for tacos &, burritos. Oh, the michelado was 👌🏽 We had gone for a big hike in the area and the portions were perfect.“

“Seriously, this place is a true find from the sandwich heavens.
They take such meticulous care with every sandwich, and everyone there is genuinely caring. I’ve already gone off the freeway twice just to come back and eat there again, and each time it’s been just as wonderful.
I had the Rib Roast the first time, man what a sandwich, good amount of meat that you can taste the flavor, tomato, layered on the entire bread kept it so moiost delicious. Then the Italian, swapping the salami for mortadella (a perfect switch). The sandwich is perfectly moist, tastey, full of flavor, loved it.
Oh, the lettuce, they do an entire side salad with dressing and put it on the sandwich, unreal. I appreciate this place and recommend it to everyone who cares about a great sandwich.“
