I had one of the best restaurant meals ever in San Francisco last night at Sorrel. The pictured dish is described as maitake / potato / dashi, the first course of seven and my favourite. The wine pairing was very good, and the service outstanding. Great celiac accommodation for me. Instead of the pasta based crab dish I got a stunningly excellent sun-choke risotto. Great evening at Sorrel, with my wife, daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law. We were guests of my beautiful granddaughter Isabella and they treated us very well. Recommended when visiting San Francisco.
