My friend, Mike, who lives nearby with his wife, raved about it so much that my BF and I decided to come after a short trip to Marin. It was everything that he described and more. It was fantastic! Excellent food and atmosphere. Will definitely add to my list of favorites and will recommend to my Palo Alto friends!

Routier is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The French ‘routier’ (road trip stop of a restaurant) style meets Californian ingredients, under chef JP Carmona’s expert hand, makes for an incentive and delicious menu that changes frequently to take advantage of each season’s best produce and seafood. The cocktail menu and desserts are also killer. This is our absolute favorite for date night, friends or family in from out of town, etc.
