“Absolutely delicious. One of the best falafels if not my favorite in such a long time. The falafel sandwich was perfectly done with just the right bite of crunch and juiciness. My husbands fried chicken sandwich was also awesome. I thought the butternut squash hummus could’ve had my flavor but it grew on me. The flavors of everything were just perfection. Saved and will totally return.“
“This low key resturant in Sausalito is where the locals go for hearty breakfasts. A Mexican chef puts his special touch in the eggs and salsas. If you are looking for an unpretentous, large portionplace for breakfast or lunch, I recommend Anchorage 5 resturant.“
“On our last day in California, we decided to travel to quaint Sausalito for breakfast and a stroll along the seashore. Researching best places to eat, this cafe came up online. We’re glad we stopped. While we’ve noticed that most of the restaurants in this area are small, the Lighthouse Cafe made up for its size with their delicious food and great service! The staff is very attentive, immediately seating you, serving your beverage and taking your order. We sat at the breakfast bar and watched the food preparation in action. Hats off to the chef’s!! So organized and very well prepared. Thank you for an excellent breakfast and service! When in Sausalito, check out this place.“
“Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.“
“Our stay in this restaurant was lovely! It has one of the best Google rating in Sausalido and I can only confirm. It's a wonderful location, very kind service and the burger and fish & chips was delicious. A big advantage is a wide selection of draught beers and from what I saw surely also Wines. I would highly recommend this restaurant and once again thank you for the service ??“
“The burgers were alright, but the fish and chips were delicious—perfectly crispy, not greasy, they were yum. We got them to go, and when we sat down found that one of our orders was missing. I went back to ask, and they were able to bring it out no problems, plus they threw in some coleslaw. Overall a solid, yummy choice for lunch.“
“Good experience! We came for lunch. We enjoyed the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with Umami Fries (Porcini, Parmesan, Truffle Oil). They have seating outside and inside. Valet and self parking is available. Self parking was a good walk away. A nice particial view of the Golden Gate bridge, if you sit outside.Definitely worth to check out if you are in the area.“
“We had a great experience here for lunch! We were looking for clam chowder and asked a local shopkeeper for a recommendation. Seafood Peddler it is! They were able to seat us immediately in the little alcove on the second floor with a lovely view of the harbor. We had their lunch bowl of clam chowder, lobster bisque, and a few lobster rolls around our table. We really enjoyed the soups, and the sandwiches were stacked with lobster. Fries were great! Prices for the rolls were a bit steep, but to be expected. Our service was good - I loved how they pour the soup into the bowl at your table so it stays hot. Food came out crazy fast, which made for more time to explore!“
“Scomas was closed on Tuesday so we stopped here for an early dinner. My wife had the Clam Chowder bowl with a side of Caesar salad. I had the Combo crab and shrimp Louie salad. Both were good. The Chowder bowl could have been a bit larger though. Ambience is wonderful with views of the bay and service was very good. If you can, ask for a window seat if they're available!“
“Excellent water view dining in a beautiful small town. Our family loved our delicious entrees. Unfortunately, my husband had the halibut and pinto beans but should have been cannellini beans and the combination was terrible. We would have appreciated if we were told of the substitution before hand otherwise a different entree would have been chosen.Excellent customer service.“
