“Elizabeth is a wonderful waitress who catered to our every need and gave us a taste of every sauce on the menu that went with our delicious burgers, fries & onion rings! We stopped in on 11/2 during a cruise stop.“

“DELICIOUS. We tried the Tasty Royal and the All American. Perfection. Clearly great ingredients! We also had the tallow fries with the truffle mustard on the side- highly recommend the sauce. So yummy!! The root beer float was exactly what I wanted with one scoop of ice cream- not too sweet, but such a treat! The music is a vibe, the staff was friendly, and the bathroom was clean. 10/10 would recommend!“

“Stopped in just to grab lunch while visiting the area. Had the Hawaiian burger, a single cheese burger, fries, and coke. We ate inside and watched the people line up for food the entire time we ate lunch. Great small place with fresh food and welcoming staff.
The inside has four two tops for seating, but the park across the street is available with tables if needed. It's a cozy place.“

“Let me tell you something, this has to be on your list when you come to SF. This is where you need to stop and this is where you need to eat the family the food the everything about this experience was nothing short of wonderful. I live in SoCal so Mexican food is a staple but let me tell you something this was a different experience completely everything is crafted with care and love and you know it I got the poblano spaghetti and omg my mind was blown away. I hope this place stays around for a very long time. This made my entire trip to SF worth it.“

“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

“We got it delivered through DoorDash. Unfortunately my burger was missing the cheese but it was still very good. Bun was a little thick but I think that’s the case in most places now. The fries were really crunchy and flavorful. My wife enjoyed her jr cheeseburger. Overall definitely a nice meal and I would order again.“

“Came on a Wednesday and got an enormous delicious beef brisket plate for $22. Probably the best deal I’ve seen in North Beach. The hamburgers look pretty awesome too although I have not tried one yet. My friend got a chicken pesto sandwich which was less exceptionable but not bad.

Definitely worth coming back!

One note: sitting at the back is pretty loud, sounds like there’s a club or something on the other side of the wall so it was hard to hear my friend talking, but that’s probably not an an issue if you come earlier or don’t sit in the very back.“

“Really great food and pretty quick to get into even on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed my sandwich and others enjoyed their meals. They were quick to get us a high chair for the baby but after that the service slowed up a bit. The food was nice and hot when it came. It was pretty loud with everybody so it made it hard to talk. I’d go back and try some other things.“

“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. The only names I received were Mar, Janeka, Dom and Tone but everyone was incredible and we definitely will be back.“

“Tried Maillard’s for the first time today and it easily made my **top 5 smash burgers**.

I got **The Box**, which comes with a double-patty burger, fries, and a drink. The burger was super flavorful without being overly greasy, which I really appreciated. I’d probably get it without pickles next time, but otherwise it was so good.

Also, the **comeback sauce!!** I got it on the side and ended up loving it. Next time, instead of the Maillard’s sauce on the burger, I’m definitely asking for the comeback sauce inside instead.

I went around **10:30 AM** and was pleasantly surprised that there was no line, and parking was surprisingly easy too. Definitely coming back!“

“First time and Iggy's and I was impressed. The Biggy Burger was great, the wide variety of fries were great as well. I love the Sauce Bar with all the unique flavors as well. Spicy sauce for the burger and a sweet sauce with the sweet potato fries was the perfect match. I'll definitely be back.“

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

“The food here is really good. I have tried the burgers, grilled chicken, and fried chicken and would recommend them all. It's a good value for the price too. I also enjoyed the garlic fries (VERY garlicky!) and onion rings. My only nitpick is that the sweet potato fries were pretty bland and I wish they had more seasoning. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for burgers.“

“Classic Bay Area spot for burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and definitely shakes. Good food. Good service. Not a great neighborhood, but if you're not local, they make it worth the drive. This is walk up only. The staff were friendly and courteous!“

“My favorite burger in the city hands down. If you're looking for a perfectly lacy and crisp patty on a potato bun and the biggest helping of fries, you've found the right place. It's simplicity done right and I come here more than I probably should, but they're a consistently delicious lunch that makes going to the office less painful. The staff are always nice and work efficiently as possible for fresh food they make in front of your face. I hope they stick around for a long time!“

“The food is phenomenal. Everything, from the sauce, the salad, the rice, the chicken, the beef, the burger, was phenomenal. Even though the prices are not cheap, they deserve it. If the tomatoes and salad taste good, that means everything's good, and they care about everything.

After we're done, we would put that whole place out. We don't have to clean; they clean everything for us. What is the service?“

“I’m not a fan of pasta but their chicken parmigiana is lit. I love their omelettes and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and the avocado was fully loaded on the toast.

Great ambience and love their freshly squeezed orange juice which I love it. Great staff! I’d go back again!“

“Really fun place. Probably the best house made tortilla chips I’ve ever had. Pliney on tap and beyond that a great selection. We both had salads and they were excellent. Burger was solid. Taco was mid for the price. It’s a 4.6 and that’s about what it should be at.“

“I was here for the second time this morning and I absolutely loved it once again. The food is fresh and tasty, the place has a really nice vibe to it, the weekday breakfast special is great value and they are very accommodating. Best part must be the waitress working there, tho. Forgot her name sadly but she was there both times I went and she's genuinely friendly and not over the top at all. It's so refreshing to actually get good service and not have it feel like a show!

“Was REALLY disappointed to discover Sliders had removed the self-serve bar, but I understand the difficulty of maintaining something like that, especially during the COVID era. For YEARS I used to get a double patty chili cheeseburger with fries. At the condiment bar I would add mushrooms, olives, onions and mayo. Now, no more condiment bar, or custom chili burgers, but its still a great San Francisco lunch spot. Definitely recommend.
Edit: Recently tried their Philly cheesesteak...it is the ONLY cheesesteak sandwich I can eat without adding condiments. No mayonnaise, no anything: just the seasoned meat, cheese and bun -- its perfect as is. Well done!“

“Great local spot for Bernal Heights area! A creative fusion of pub food with an Asian American flair! The fish and chips are fabulous. The smashburger is amazing. We love the fries and the gochujang ketchup. For pickled kimchi is amazing. I like the popcorn chicken and spare ribs as well! The owner's super nice. It's a great place to meet locals. “Jenny’s Burger is a must try in San Francisco! Run by a nice couple, they cook up burgers on a cool revolving grill. The best part is you can customize your burger the way you want. This was a super nice touch and a great experience. The service was on point and easy to eat inside, outside, or bring it to Golden Gate Park. The cheese fries were amazing as well, I do recommend. I especially enjoyed the bun they used for the burger. Overall a spot I would return to.“

“This was the perfect late-night stop during my first trip to San Francisco! The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the incredible service. One employee was taking orders, running the register, and making burgers all at the same time—and somehow still managed to be friendly and efficient. Huge kudos to him for keeping everything running so smoothly!
