“Elizabeth is a wonderful waitress who catered to our every need and gave us a taste of every sauce on the menu that went with our delicious burgers, fries & onion rings! We stopped in on 11/2 during a cruise stop.“

“If I had to compare their burgers to something, it’d be a certain shack with shakes. Pricing is on par, considering that Tasty’s patties are larger than said shack, and this is a local place that doesn’t have the benefit of scale.

The Royal burger is fire. Literally melts in your mouth. Cooked perfectly without a hint of dryness. I wouldn’t expect super duper to exercise as much quality control with twice the staffing. The beef tallow fries needed a hint more salt, but you can control that yourself. Otherwise, the fries were hella good.

When I went on a Sunday afternoon, this Labor Day weekend, it looked like they had three people running the show. But they were churning out orders, and mine was perfectly made. They just opened in August, so temper your expectations and wipe down your own table. God forbid they can’t clean every table after three tourist families of five roll through 🙄. Saw a lot of people asking for accommodations and it sounded like they did their best to fulfill.

Downtown Sausalito on a holiday weekend is basically a pressure cooker for any restaurant, and they handled it expertly given their resources. Let them cook!“

“Amazing honest and great value burgers. Genuine taste with very fresh ingredients. Some of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Not greasy or soggy and excellent prices. The way burgers should be! Staff were very friendly but minimal seating inside though.“

“We got it delivered through DoorDash. Unfortunately my burger was missing the cheese but it was still very good. Bun was a little thick but I think that’s the case in most places now. The fries were really crunchy and flavorful. My wife enjoyed her jr cheeseburger. Overall definitely a nice meal and I would order again.“

“I didn’t go to the original Jasmin’s but I always knew it was a legendary spot. I started coming when it became. Tacorea under the owners sons David. They easily had my favorite burrito of all time. I was sad to see Tacorea go. Just wanted to Jasmin’s for the first time the other day and they still have the California burrito and it is just as good as it used to be. The woman owner works the register and she truly is the nicest person on planet earth. The tater tots are AMAZING.“

“The cafe de olla (free refills:) and mole chilaquiles were phenomenal. I probably shouldn't ask if the mole is vegetarian 🤭. Apparently you can get avocado instead of meat! Service was pretty friendly if a little overworked - it took a few minutes to be acknowledged and I asked for water which took several minutes to bring. A little warm inside, so they left the door open, which meant a couple flies. No wait but the place was pretty full at 1pm on a nice September Friday. Excellent food and I felt the prices were fair for a well-made brunch. My food was ready fairly quickly and they turned tables pretty fast. Seemed like the place was full of happy, satisfied eaters and several regulars. They also appear to do a decent take-out business. Thankfully it was a pretty quiet atmosphere, no blaring music.“

But you know you have to try to hit the ‘famous’ brunch spots when you can I guess.

Though you know what - I enjoyed the beermosa - something different to try!

“Mo’s Grill is a must try in San Francisco. I came for the Patty melt, but I hear their breakfast is bomb as well. The Patty melt was spectacular, I like the options for sides, I chose the fries, which were nice and crispy. I always enjoy a fresh OJ so that was a nice touch. The sourdough on the bread was just right, and I was impressed that the Patty didn’t leave the bread soggy. They have been around since 1988 for a reason. This place sure holds the heart of San Francisco.“

“I've been told about Phila Burger for a while now, but never had a chance to stop and eat. I finally had the opportunity the other day, so I popped by and grabbed the Phila Burger to take home.

The wait for my burger was less than 10 minutes (or at least felt like it). The guy who rang me up was nice, and the burger was good and maintained the majority of its structural integrity by the time I'd gotten home (you gotta take it home to eat or grub on the road as there's nowhere to sit and eat casually with the exception of a few chairs that operate as a waiting area).“

“Ordered the Aint-no-punk burger; good but my partner and I felt the amount of jalapenos over whelmed the UB sauce and over-all taste. Also ordered El Jefe Burger. I thought was terrific, but my partner thought burger was a little'rare'(ie, pinkish) for something stated as'Well-done' under Wagyu menu category. Nice atmosphere and vibe, would definitely try again.“

“The food here is really good. I have tried the burgers, grilled chicken, and fried chicken and would recommend them all. It's a good value for the price too. I also enjoyed the garlic fries (VERY garlicky!) and onion rings. My only nitpick is that the sweet potato fries were pretty bland and I wish they had more seasoning. “Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. I got **The Box**, which comes with a double-patty burger, fries, and a drink. The burger was super flavorful without being overly greasy, which I really appreciated. I’d probably get it without pickles next time, but otherwise it was so good.

Also, the **comeback sauce!!** I got it on the side and ended up loving it. Next time, instead of the Maillard’s sauce on the burger, I’m definitely asking for the comeback sauce inside instead.

I went around **10:30 AM** and was pleasantly surprised that there was no line, and parking was surprisingly easy too. Definitely coming back!“

“I was here for the second time this morning and I absolutely loved it once again. The food is fresh and tasty, the place has a really nice vibe to it, the weekday breakfast special is great value and they are very accommodating. Best part must be the waitress working there, tho. “A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“
