“I live in the Plaza neighborhood and it is so nice to have a quality burger joint in walking distance. They literally have any conceived burger combination you could possibly want. The people are fantastic and polite. Of course the food is always incredible.“

“Came on a Wednesday and got an enormous delicious beef brisket plate for $22. Probably the best deal I’ve seen in North Beach. The hamburgers look pretty awesome too although I have not tried one yet. My friend got a chicken pesto sandwich which was less exceptionable but not bad.

Definitely worth coming back!

One note: sitting at the back is pretty loud, sounds like there’s a club or something on the other side of the wall so it was hard to hear my friend talking, but that’s probably not an an issue if you come earlier or don’t sit in the very back.“

“Had the best lamb I’ve ever had wildly enough and this green sauce thing is so good I wish I got 4 of them. There’s a 15 min wait on the lab kebab but I think it’s worth it. There’s an argument to be made if it’s worth the price, I got extra lamb and honestly no regrets. Maybe just a single portion for your fist time. Cheese burger also had a brioche/potato bun that was very pleasant.“

“Ok Sweet Maple hit THE spot! Yum on yum. I usually don’t order sandwiches at restaurants. However, this breakfast sandwich was delicious. The bread was nice and soft. The bacon was nice and crisp. The fried French toast was another level when I come back. I will definitely be getting that. I got the coconut latte it was pretty good overall five stars.“

“10/10 food and 1000000/10 service! My 13 year old brother went there and ordered his food, and then realized his debit card ran out of funds. The staff still made him his food, and gave him a hug and encouraged him to eat it!

He was too embarrassed and waited until I could come to the restaurant and pay for him. But the owner and the staff treated him like their own little brother, and was willing to give him the meal for free! You rarely see this type of kindness anymore ❤ plus, the burgers and BOMB !“

“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. “A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

“Beeryland is absolutely fantastic. I've been coming here for the star trek trivia for almost two years. The adult slushies are yummy, and so is most of the food. I don't know if the kimchi grilled cheese is still on the menu, but it's a divisive item. My friends like it but I despise it. Use caution. As you can see by the state of my AmInal Fries (yes the spelling is correct), I am one happy customer. Four stars on the atmosphere because the bathroom could use a facelift, but it is a bar. “My favorite burger in the city hands down. If you're looking for a perfectly lacy and crisp patty on a potato bun and the biggest helping of fries, you've found the right place. It's simplicity done right and I come here more than I probably should, but they're a consistently delicious lunch that makes going to the office less painful.
