The conversation over their burgers on the cute reteo counter was definitely the highlight.“

“I have heard about this restaurant from friends so I went to try it, it is a sit-eat-and-go place I have tried the Persian burger and it taste good it looks like a kafta kabab taste. As a Lebanese and food lover I was impressed with the hummus the taste was good but the Tabboule didn’t meet my expectations because you shouldn’t have cucumber and lettuce as also it needs more lemon juice.

Rude and unprofessional, I tried to call the restaurant to tell them that they didn't give my little sister a soda that I ordered for her in order to get a refund and they gave me SO MUCH HASSLE. Incredibly rude and was ignoring anything I was saying.“

What really makes this place special is Sam. He’s the kind of person who remembers your face and name, your usual order, and makes you feel like more than just a customer. Honestly, at this point, I’m convinced he should just run for mayor of Richmond.

It's safe to say that many people in the Rich know about Phila Burger for good reason. But if you’re coming from outside of Richmond, do yourself a favor and give this place (and the city) a chance. If there’s one meal that’ll win you over, it’s right here.

“i came in at 10:25pm (they close at 11) to order takeout. not only was i greeted with the most genuine smile by the person behind the bar, but they were so kind and welcoming. i got the bbq bacon burger sub chicken patty add tomato and lettuce (per their recommendation) and it was SUPERB. chicken? cooked perfectly. bun? doughy and held up throughout the eating of the sandwich. the lettuce was crispy and the bacon was fresh. i also got the garlic parm fries and they were the best ones i’ve had in a long time. after a really long day this was exactly what i needed. thank you very much.“

I haven’t really tried much else on the menu but my friend got the wings and really enjoyed those as well, I did get to try the steak fries which I would definitely say to avoid they are pretty soggy and the cheese sauce isn’t very good, but I’ll continue coming back here and recommending it because it’s hard to find an actually good burger around here!
