Definitely my favorite place for Chicago style hotdogs and hamburgers in Solano County. The polish with grilled onions is the best and you can take it into Cullen's Pub next door so you can have it with a beer on-tap. Seating both inside and outside with plenty of free parking on the streets of downtown Benicia. Don't forget the french fries.
The best!! Everyone lives Char's. Great people. Only the best served. Our office is across the street and we eat there when hot dogs are wanted. They have so many finds of toppings plus other items on the menu. Let's meet at Char's!!

Good food and service. The price is bit on the high end but as long as you expect it the sticker shock won't ruin the experience. I like the burgers and the sides. The hot dogs are a bit too small but they taste ok. Overall, I recommend giving them a shot, I suspect you'll enjoy.
