“What a lovely cafe to enjoy. Small and quiet. Great food. Enjoyed our breakfast. Avocado toast with salmon was sooo good. The eggs, potatoes and bacon were perfect. Coffee is outstanding. Has great garden seating or inside table seating. Friends have said lunch is great too. We will return.”
“Bella Sienna never fails at serving excellent quality food in appearance and taste. Service is excellent and attentive every time. Thanks to excellent server, Molly and everyone at Bella Sienna for another excellent experience!”
“As a retired San Francisco Bay Area NIGHT CLUB & LOUNGE ENTERTAINER, this quaint and neat Irish Pub is one of a kind !! .. .. .. I've seem em ALL, and this place folks, is truly a great place to share a drink with locals and out of towners, tucked away in the Benicia Tannery Building, with outside seating (smoking area) overlooking the Carquinez Straits .. .. AND ~ The owners are absolutely the BEST .. .. "A Must Place to Go" .. ..”
“Saturday review, so beignets available! The best beignets I've had since I moved to California, but still not quite as good as New Orleans. The Workshop is basically a takeout window, but there are a couple of outside tables, so hopefully you can sit and have your coffee and beignets popping hot.”
“Me and a few friends went out 'bar hopping' - I'm sober personally - I had asked for a cup of coffee truly not expecting much at all.I shared with my best friend beside me and we talked about it all night. I don't say this lightly ~It was the best cup of coffee I have ever had~”
“This place is hidden in the cuts but worth the drive for some good barbecue. From the freeway exit N/B 680 it's only one turn right turn a maybe a 2 minute drive. From S/B 680 it may be 5 minutes more if that. It's kind of hidden but there is a big sign you can't miss if you're looking. They have a small parking lot and take orders through the screen door. There is outside seating and tables if you choose to eat there. I placed my order after looking over the menu outside and my food was ready really quick. The 2 way combo was $25 which was understandable and reasonable for the portion sizes and inflation. My only gripe may be on what they consider potato salad which was more like a loaded baked potato. The flavor of the chicken and ribs were delicious. The ribs were tender and neither were burned or over cooked. I also like that they put the barbecue sauce in containers for you to add to your food as you like. The Mac and cheese was pretty good too but could have used a bit more seasoning to it. Otherwise I like this place and the staff are very nice as well. Oh yeah, they didn't have the lumpia that day”
“I love that they offer GF options!!! Their Tea Leaf Salad and Spicy Noodles with choice of protein are my favorites!!! My husband loves all of their curries and crispy chicken.”
“I'm not a huge Pho fan but this spot changed my mind! I ordered the lunch special for $13. Well done thin steak pho with egg noodle instead of rice noodle that came with two veggie spring roll. The bowl came out super hot, very fresh tasting, clean tasting meat and the broth was extra flavorful! Not bland at all!! Definitely recommend to all friends and families!!!”
“All the food tasted great. We had the western cheese burger, the double bacon cheeseburger, and the chili fries. The prices were more than I would have expected, but the quality was top notch.”
“After a recent midday trip to Benicia, we were hungry. I have been to several other restaurants on 1st Street and enjoyed them all. I will finish those reviews soon. It was my suggestion to have lunch here. We could leave the car parked and it was a short walk. Happily, it was a good choice. I ordered the Shrimp and Asparagus salad, and it was delicious. The salad consisted of mixed greens, avocado slices, cherry tomatoes, a semi-hardboiled egg, and asparagus topped off with two skewers of grilled shrimp. The Louie dressing was served on the slide. K had the pulled pork sandwich. The interior was pleasant, the bathrooms were clean, and the service was attentive. The Taproom is on my list for a return visit.”
“Great place to eat and get quality food. Everything is fresh daily and sandwiches are more than you can eat. Customer service is excellent and everyone is very friendly. They take pride in everything they do. The owner is friendly and makes sure that everyone is satisfied. The place is clean and music is great. They are now open until 6pm Monday thru Friday and 3 on Saturday. They even do catering which is great. If you are ever in Benicia make sure you stop by. I had the best experience with my family there. They even have kids meals and a mini meal which include a slicer fries fruit cup and drink. My kids loved it.”
“We mainly come here for their $1 Taco Tuesdays, which are excellent and better than a lot of the restaurant tacos which cost a lot more. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and if you're not a beer drinker soft drink or coffee refills are plentiful. One semi-negative is that I don't think their Thursday special "Big Max" is as good as the Mickey D's variety. Haven't tried their weekend breakfast yet but on the menu it looks good.”
“We LOVE Chico's Taqueria! Incredibly fast, consistently fresh and delicious food, Wonderful owners! Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas...get in there and try them!Vegetarian options: Cheese quesadillas, bean cheese rice burritos, chile verde...Parking: Easy plentifulKid-friendliness: Tons of options for littles”
“Came here for the first time today. Me & my fiancé ordered fish & chips and Crab cakes. Food was good and tasted fresh and the fish and chips were very good. We had a great waitress as well which made the experience welcoming. Would eat here again.”
