The hubby & I decided not to cook dinner, it's Friday night, let's go out to eat. We stumbled upon this cozy place. There were two people in the restaurant, two TV's were on the football game and they had great music playing. We had spritzer margaritas which were really good. There was a change in ownership at this restaurant and sadly it wasn't for the best. The menu for this restaurant is now Mexican so I was excited to try since I have been looking for a good local Mexican restaurant. This was not it. We came in at around 3:30pm and the spot was empty- inside and the patio. We even had to yell hello to see if anyone was there and asked if they were open. Seriously the tacos here are so underrated. The Al pastor has by far been one of the best I've ever had as well as their carne asada. I would say this place is definite hidden gem here in Benicia. I just don't understand why this place is so slow when the food itself should not warrant the slow foot traffic. I would definitely go back!
