“They were 5 stars pre-COVID, but they went down during the "world tour". This is through no fault of their own. Getting quality ingredients was tough.It's greatly improved and they're working their way back up to the five star rating.Love the calzones and the pizza-definitely not missing the pools of fat from a 2022 pizza. The lasagna and ravioli don't have the five star flavor they used to have, yet. I don't miss the prepacked salads in the styrofoam cups.I can't wait until they're fully back at 5 stars! Keep it up!“

“A little on the pricier side for some small pizza pieces, but the pizzas pack a great bunch of flavor in each bite!
I got to try two pizzas (on accident!) they were very quick to respond to their error in my order by giving me a second serving of the pizza I originally ordered! I wasn't going to complain about the initial error (they gave me a margherita pizza instead of meat combo), but afterwards the manager asked if I wanted my original order and even gave me a second serving which I took to go.
Lovely atmosphere and just the perfect small hole in the wall feel.
Moving onto the pizza itself, perfect focaccia bread with a nice crunch that dissolved into a buttery soft dough. Plenty of savory sauce and a perfect zing of spice in the sausage and pepperoni to finish off the texture and taste. It also didn't seem saturated in oil and was just an all around pleasant bite. It didn't feel heavy and rich and was just perfect for a lunch/brunch choice.“

“Pizza Pirate has saved me and my husband many times over the last few years with hot, fresh pasta, kid-friendly options, and so many delicious garlic twists. Sometimes it was when we couldn’t find the energy to cook at home so did a quick call in and pick up, and sometimes it’s because we had a craving to eat out, and each time, we’ve had a great experience and meal! When it was time to help plan my daughter’s end of year school party, pizza was an easy choice for feeding 100 first graders! I contacted Pat at Pizza Pirate a couple weeks before the last day of school to see if Pizza Pirate could accommodate a big order, have them ready before they officially opened, and make sure pizzas were double-cut to limit precious wasted pizza. Not only did Pat respond to each and every email with lightning speed time to accommodate us, he generously gave us the pizzas half off to help maximize our budget for the party and kids. Pizza Pirate is the only place in town my kids love and we’ll be making sure we support them all summer long. After the party, my daughter thanked me for coordinating and exclaimed, I ate four pieces, which is a BIG win for my usually picky eater. I TRIED to order PIZZA AT 10:00 PM...they close at 11:00 pm On the website there is a special: small pizza ÷ toppi g or speciality$12.99 plus fountain drink Sounds great! I was going to get some garlic cheese bread as well. I call in to place my order and they told me I have to place it online... so I go back to the website and they're "not currently taking online orders". So I called back to the store and do you think that they would honor it or give me some sort of discount so I can get dinner tonight? NO! This was absolutely horrible customer service by both the male and female I spoke to. Absolutely insane to tell someone you have to order online but you can't order online. When I talked to the female she said my boss is the only one that can turn off the online ordering and I don't know why he would do that . ME EITHER...w you got a whole hour before you close! This restaurant DOES NOT even deserve any STARS! Not to mention the snarkiness of the female and the male that answered both times when I called. When I asked who the owner was she wouldn't give me that information and simply told me to call back tomorrow afternoon and speak to someone named AJ. I thought Benicia Pride themself on being a nice cozy wonderful town...but this certainly wasn't any of that. Shame on you!! I will also be contacting corporate along with posting on Tick Tock Instagram Facebook Yelp all of the above. The way I was treated they deserve all the bad press! Maybe next time they'll think about how they treat and talk to a customer or better yet get these folks better customer service training!!!“

I tried Supreme, Meat lovers, and new York (and a cheese, apparently I can't count and only ordered 3 so they did a cheese for the last one). This restaurant has dropped its quality by much. The salad came with old lettuce, the tomatoes were not fresh at all, the pizza was worse than little Cesar’s and let’s not mention the old cold cup of coffee. Never coming back!!!“
