“I found my new local favorite. The pizza here is exceptional. Sauce is tangy but not too sweet. The crust is thin and cooked perfectly. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. And the slices are fat. The deserts are good, tried Sicilian canoli for the first time and enjoy it. The best part about the pizza is that it Isn't greasy. And the bottom of the pizza doesn't get all soggy. I really enjoyed the food. Definitely coming back as it's now one of my top 5 pizza spots“

“We recently had dining at Slice of Martinez, with my daughter and her friend and I couldn't be more delighted with the experience. This pizza restaurant not only serves up delicious pizzas but also provides excellent customer service that truly enhances the dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff at Slice of Martinez went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their friendly and attentive service added a personal touch to the meal. The menu offered a fantastic variety of pizza options, wings, cheesesteak and fries. I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the mouthwatering flavors.“

“Picked up individual grazing boxes for a wine tasting day in Napa and they were amazing! We ate them on our way home and they were a hit! Perfect ending to our day! The boxes were filled with tons of meat and cheese along with nuts fruit and candy! It was a last minute decision on A Friday afternoon and the staff rocked it! Thank you!“

“Absolutely perfect. I haven't had practice pizza in 15 years bc I moved and no longer had access to one. But while traveling back home today after a family emergency, I got one and it tasted just as good as my childhood taste buds remember. With how the last few weeks have been going, I sincerely needed this nostalgic pick me up. It honestly brought back endearing memories. Thank Pacifica for keeping that same taste. I hope to come again next time I'm down this way ?“

“We love this new pizza spot! Our group tried the cane, pua, and carny pizzas, and they were all amazing. The Cane pizza was phenomenal though. The hot honey and Calabrian chili peppers really sent it over the top! We also really enjoyed being able to get the pizzas and head over to Five Suns Brewing to eat them with a nice beer around the fire pit. I’m so glad that Martinez is getting better quality options nearby!“

“I came here with my parents on a random Saturday and I have mixed feelings. First off- it's important to give them huge kudos for the pizza. I was very impressed. The quality of the dough is on point, and the toppings were generous and delicious. They all are in the 9-10 inch range, so small enough to eat one on your own and be full or have leftovers. It also makes it easy to split a few of them amongst several people. The bread they bring as a starter is nothing to write home about. It kind of tasted like that frozen dough you thaw out when you need to throw something together. BUT the red pesto sauce it's served with is to die for. I ended up putting it on everything. Calamari is awesome too. However, I've never tried anything else on their menu. Truth be told, it's because most of the pasta dishes look rather unappetizing. They're swimming in watery sauce. I can't really speak to the taste so I could just be judging a book by its cover, but I'm most likely to just stick to the pizza. As for the service, things get a bit strange. The woman who served us (I think the owner?) was nice enough but her energy was loud, frazzled and intimidating. Whenever she came by the table I would get anxious. It's also not the cleanest or nicest looking- kind of just your run of the mill sticky table type place. I'd recommend just getting everything to go.Overall, pretty great pizza joint and I'm sure I'll be back soon (for takeout going forward)“

Domino's Pizza Pizza Delivery • $
4041 Alhambra Ave, Martinez

“I know Domino's Pizza gets a bad rap. In fact, I had not eaten Domino's pizza in decades because I recall it tasting like your average blend chain a la Pizza Hut or Little Cesar's. However, I did order a small cheese pizza from Domino's in Martínez on a whim last night. It was cold and rainy and I just didn't want to cook. I wanted something fast, easy, and cheap. So, I drove to Domino's to pick it up via curbside (free and no delivery fee) and it was ready. The employee was also very friendly. It was still warm when I arrived home eight minutes later. Much to my surprise, it was DELICIOUS. I expected bland Costco tasting pizza, but it was so much better than I had remembered. I believe they changed their recipe since my childhood because the crust was super garlicky and parmesan-infused. It tasted better than some other local places in the area. Now I'm a super fan and will definitely return in the future!“
