“Stumbled in here just to get a slice for lunch, and left with two of the best NY style-slices in Berkeley. So much attention to detail and flavor in the dough and sauce PLUS they freshly grate Parmesan on your slice after reheating it. Way more than I was expecting and reasonably priced! I liked both the mushroom-leek slice and pepperoni-onion!“

“Absolutely loved this pizza place! The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The crust was perfectly baked — crispy on the outside and soft inside. Toppings were generous and high quality.
Customer service was excellent, staff was friendly and welcoming. The store was clean and well maintained. Order was ready on time.

“8 Moose Pizzeria has quickly become one of our favorite pizza spots. We love thin slice and good sauce (a must) and they deliver. It’s nice to have an alternative fromSlice House (hit and miss on quality) and Melo’s (always consistent).

“I've been buying pizza here for 13 years and continue to drive there from Oakland even after leaving Alameda 10 years ago. Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!“

“Tasty pizza. One order was Romano’s with whole wheat and 00 milled flours. Very yummy and substantial. We added grilled chicken to the menu offering. Second pizza was NY thin crust, Calabrese. Nicely spicy! I asked for extra sauce and it was there. High quality ingredients on both pizzas. Also, we ordered a Cesar Salad - all fresh ingredients and nice portion of shaved Parmesan cheese, and tasty dressing.
We will stop in soon to dine-in, but we were very happy with Door Dash delivery tonight! (Camilo was great Dasher!)“

“Food: Our friend recommended this place and they’ve been dined in or ordered takeouts multiple times. We came here and tried the recommended dishes, and it’s probably by far the BEST I’ve tried near Bay Area. I can’t wait to come back again and tried other pasta dishes and see if Melo’s going to be my fav Italian restaurant of all time! 100% recommend the chicken parmigiana, the sauce and cheese are perfectly balanced. I’m very picky when it comes to cheese or cream, and they made it so well✨ Square pizza is also another highlight. It was slight over burnt on the edge but the honey complements the flavor of the pepperoni and crispness.
Ambiance: it was warm and cozy. We sat in the patio seats and it suddenly rained, and all the staff came out to open the shades, and they also helped with the heater and offering blankets which makes the dining experience enjoyable.
Staff: nice and friendly, very helpful indeed.“

“It was very good great customer service I don’t give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement, the sausage was fire and the the crust was amazing the pepperoni was slightly cooked more then my preferred liking overall 9.3/10 it’s definitely better then papa John’s or any of the pizza chains it’s good authentic Italian pizza I’ll for sure be back“
“Picked up from Zayn's Pizza & Deli tonight. Got the Spicy Cajun Chicken sandwich on dutch crunch so tasty! Also had a slice of the Tandoori Chicken Pizza with added Banana Peppers and a slice of the Mascarpone Pep Pizza. They were both delicious! The friendly owner has put a lot of thought and time into the menu and making everything delicious. Will definitely be going back for more!“

“This place makes the absolute BEST Fougasse! It is olive-y the duck fat it’s made with makes it, crisp, light, and perfectly moist. The crusty outside is lightly salted to perfection. Their pastries are also exquisite, I haven’t had anything I didn’t like, but I ALWAYS come for the Fougasse! Best to get there early when they are nice and fresh and warm and before they sell out!“

“Zachary's is a singular experience.
Really good food. Even their regular flat pizza is a treat but their deep dish pie spectacular.
The spinach and mushroom deep dish is their flagship offering and I find if you add pepperoni it really puts it over the top. Deep dish takes about 45 mins too cook but you can place your order by phone before you leave the house if time is an issue. They also offer half cooked take home orders you can finish up in your own oven.

“Just had a GREAT experience at Melo’s today! We had a large group (24+) where we pre-ordered pizza and salads. They set us up in an area perfect for our group. Our food was set up on one table…buffet style…and we had plenty of tables to sit and eat. Highly recommend Melo’s pizza and pasta in Danville!“

The customer service? Truly top notch. Warm, attentive, and genuine in a way that’s becoming rare these days. And then there’s the food… every bite was a celebration. The flavors were bold, balanced, and exciting, honestly, a full on party in my mouth. My daughter and I loved every single bite.
We were helped by Gustavo, and he deserves special recognition. Not only was he incredibly kind and attentive, but he radiates such positive energy and a genuinely kind soul.
