Exquisite pastry with a very helpful customer focused staff! I have just started sampling their offerings. So far everything I've tried is very solid and worth the wait in line.
So...they open at 8am, I got there around 7:20am to no line so I grabbed a coffee and waited in Peets next door, only to come out to a line around the corner! Lesson learned, that a line DOES form! Good thing is the line moved fairly quickly and folks were polite.It was my first time there so I grabbed a couple of almost everything, and everything I personally tried were great! The baguette and croissant are truly wonderful. I'm also a big fan of the big breads and loafs, even though their Miche is too often times overcooked. That's too bad. The service is really nice, but incredibly slow, even when the bakery is packed with clients. They would never survive an impatient French crowd!And I really , REALLY wish they had a slicer. Please, can you guys get a slicer? I'd really be willing to pay extra $ for a sliced bread and not having to do it myself.
