State Flour Pizza Company Reviews
Good pizza. It’s weird we can’t order via phone for pick up. The hours is limited
This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Get the peaches and burrata, bolognese, Keke pizza, hibiscus cooler, and coconut mochi cake.
We love their creative and delicious pizzas, plus everyone that works here is very friendly and homey.

State Flour Pizza Company offers high-quality food in a humble setting. The owner, a talented chef with a background in Michelin-starred restaurants, creates expertly crafted pizzas with a perfect balance of crispy, chewy, and light textures. The pizzeria features a solid NY pie in Oakland, where the sauce is just right in richness and amount. The crust is thin, with no flop, slightly sweet, and chewy like NY, and the toppings are well balanced. Salads are also exceptional. The prices are standard for quality pizza, with all large pizzas costing around $25. The interior is quaint and ambient, making it a perfect spot for cozy eating, casual meet-ups, or date nights. Customers love the vibes and the service. The burrata pizza with house-made sausage is very well made and delicious, although some feel the cheese could be cut thinner. The dough/crust was described as divine, and the toppings perfectly balanced, with some noting that the pizza is great even the next day. The wine selection is very good. With a warm and welcoming owner who takes the time to get to know customers, this pizzeria is a must-visit for pizza lovers. It’s a place that feels thoughtfully experimented with, offering inventive, unfussy flavor combinations that reveal serious culinary intention, making it stand out from classic pizzerias.
