My wife and I stumbled into Drift for the first time last Sunday while spending the weekend in Wilmington for a comedy show I did. Absolute great coffee and a fantastic brunch. Bought a bag of beans for home, and the coffee I’ve had the last two days is out of this world. The coffee is rich and flavorful. I can’t wait to get back to Wilmington so I can go to Drift.

Based on the reviews, Drift Benicia is a cute little coffee shop on Main Street in Benicia. The sweetest owners run the place and make the coffee shop feel like home. The menu is straightforward with the basics, but everything is done well. Customers love the chocolate croissant, the Rose Latte, and the pistachio latte. The focaccia avocado toast and Chorizo Avocado Toast are also tasty. The croissants are fresh and flaky, and the hot chocolate hits the spot. An iced vanilla latte was really delicious with sweetness that was just right. The service is great, fast, and efficient, even with a crowd. One lady working was doing it all, making the food and coffee, and was quick and super polite. The owners are friendly and have so much pride in their business. The adorable patio seating with yellow and white umbrellas is a nice spot. It is only 10 minutes from Martinez. Customers look forward to trying the pizza on the next trip.
