“The location is right next to a gas station, so it’s probably not the best spot if you’re looking to hang out with friends or have a date night. But don’t let the location fool you—the moment I pulled up, I could smell the food from the parking lot, and it smelled amazing.

The customer service was exceptional. The gentleman who helped me even gave me complimentary black tea with spices while I waited. It was piping hot and had a really good flavor. My food also came out fairly quickly.

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, which came with seasoned chicken, rice, pita bread, hummus, and a creamy garlic sauce on the side. Everything was hot, flavorful, and well seasoned without being overdone. I was a little surprised that the chicken was shredded since I expected larger grilled pieces, but it was still delicious and had plenty of flavor.

The hummus was especially good—it honestly tasted homemade—and the creamy garlic sauce went perfectly with everything. Overall, the great service and delicious food definitely made up for the location. I’d come back for the food and hospitality.“

“Classic Bay Area spot for burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and definitely shakes. Good food. Good service. Not a great neighborhood, but if you're not local, they make it worth the drive. This is walk up only. The staff were friendly and courteous!“

“If you’re anywhere near Richmond and haven’t stopped by Phila Burger yet, you're missing out on great food. I've tried most of the times in the menu, and I've never walked away disappointed. The food tastes amazing and hits every single time. Fresh, flavorful, and everything you want from a burger.

What really makes this place special is Sam. He’s the kind of person who remembers your face and name, your usual order, and makes you feel like more than just a customer. Honestly, at this point, I’m convinced he should just run for mayor of Richmond.

It's safe to say that many people in the Rich know about Phila Burger for good reason. But if you’re coming from outside of Richmond, do yourself a favor and give this place (and the city) a chance. If there’s one meal that’ll win you over, it’s right here.

“This is the place to go for a great Smash! If this place isn't on Triple D, it should be! Come hungry because the burgers are filling! And the restaurant is fabulous! They have outside sidewalk seating. Eat your food and drink a beer while people watching. They have a wide variety of sodas. And their Slappin' Lemonades really slap!“

“It's nice little burger joint. There's no parking lot (that I saw) so you need to find street parking.

I ordered two single burgers, one with cheese and one without. It gives that homemade burger flavor which I enjoy, but it was missing a littke something to tie it together.

I also got the tallow fries, which were really good! My mom found them a bit salty though (I do have a higher salt threshold so...). I like the slightly beefy taste and the crispness it gave the fries.

We also got the sweet potato fries! They're waffle cut and were simple and good!

The wait was very short, definitely under 10 minutes. The cashier (i think the receipt said Eduardo?) Was kinda and straight to the point.

She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. “Food was good. Me and my friend got two cheeseburgers, onion rings, cheese curds, root beers, a little chocolate cake thingy, and of course, the pickles on the burgers. The pickles were perfectly crunchy, moist, and had a great pickley flavor. 5/5 pickles ?????. The soda did taste a little off though.The service was great and the food came out fast and hot.The tables were clean, but the seats were a bit dirty, and one of the ceiling tiles was messed up.Overall, a solid restaurant with some good pickles. 4/5.

“Have it your way! This location goes above and beyond that slogan, the management is always available and have extended their policies to include accepting expired coupons, double checking that the order is correct, and making sure that all food is hot and fresh.“

The only reason I dock a point for atmosphere is the general surroundings, not the store itself.The front desk cashier was really professional and friendly. “I ordered a BBQ Bounty Whooper with Collectible cup, I thought it came with a promotional box but apparently it didn't. Also, later on I realized that I never received my cup. I was with my Mom and she ordered a frozen Coke and she saw that everyone who ordered what I did was getting a cup. I went back to the counter and the same lady that handed me my meal thought only the bundle pack came with it. Her coworker or manager told her that she was wrong. They were very busy yesterday and kept ignoring people who used the mobile app for pick up. My Mom had to wait a very long time for her frozen Coke and the cashier kept helping other people order there food at the register. The employees need to be better trained on the promotions that are available. Also, stop ignoring people standing at the pick up line. Also, people coming in to order need to stop cutting in line. I normally don't have issues at this location.“
