“The best wrap I’ve had in the entire East Bay. The people here are genuine with the food even more authentic. I made it a point to u-turn and stop by last night. The team behind the counter really just mean business. No frills, just order your food and take in the normal buzzy gas station energy. Came home and devoured my meal wishing I had more of the garlic yogurt sauce because there really is nothing like it!“

“Okay, guys, it's a really good burger for $8:) The beef is tasty, and it comes loaded with veggies, which makes it a more balanced meal. I'd order it with no mayo next time to cut down on the fats. Also, I didn't like the fries, but the burger made up for it all!Keep in mind it’s take away only, and no WC.“

“The first thing I noticed is that this quaint little spot was immaculate. The service was friendly and the food was great. As a staff person was about to mop the floor, he took the time to ask if we needed to use the restroom before he started. It was a simple gesture but thoughtful. Customer service is becoming a lost art so it's refreshing to experience.“

“This was a lovely spot to stop for a late breakfast consisting of French toast with 2 eggs and sausage and a huge tuna salad. We arrived shortly after 1 p.m. and were done just a few minites before 2 p.m., when they were closing. The wait was very reasonable. The coffee, $2.75, was fresh with just about all the fixings at arm's reach and refillable! The prices were quite reasonable compared to many comparable establishments and considering the rate of inflation. Personally, I was glad the cafe was empty, since I'm still very cautious with the spread of COVID, but there were at least two to-go orders filled while we were there. The tables all appeared to be clean as well as their single handicap access restroom, which was well stocked. The waitress (blonde) was friendly and talkative, but did not bother us. She checked in on us a couple times and offered to refill our coffee.I did not take photos of their menu, since someone else posted them, in part, in the last couple of days.My only dislike was the music playing in the back, 70s rock n roll, likely from the kitchen, which probably helped the cook keep moving. I just don't care for the high pitch electric guitar sound, but otherwise love the 60s-70s tunes. Overall: Scrumptious, clean, and friendly staff.Parking: Free 2-hour limit street parking only.“

Golden Gate Bistro Food Truck Fast Food • $
601 23rd St, Richmond

“For many years our workplace had a generic food truck onsite that served up traditional tacos, burritos, and the occasional weekly specials like loaded nachos. They had pre-made rice plates too. The quality was decent but after a while its possible to get tired of the same-oh, same-oh.One day I began seeing a red food truck from my office window, as opposed to the plain unmarked white one. It turns out to be Golden Gate Bistro, who specializes in burgers made to order.I tried both the Akaushi Cheeseburger and Grilled Chicken Sandwich and can recommend both. Akaushi is from Japanese Brown cows, and one of several sources of Wagyu. It'll cost more than In and Out or Habit Grill but its justifiable with the juicy burger. I also love their thick-cut, perfectly seasoned fries. If burgers aren't your thing, they also offer up smoked ribs, Impossible burgers, and the usual Mexican favorites like Quesadillas.“

“The best french fries I have ever Eaton, so delicious, mmmhhmmm. Turkey burgers better than mine, I always order them.and their ice cream machine is always working so we always get that too. They will cater to customize your order. Everything is delicious here!Vegetarian options: Not sureKid-friendliness: Brings out the kid in meParking: Seems to accommodate us and others each time we go so I'd say it's afrquateWheelchair accessibility: Just fine, some challenging access, but very little of it.Dietary restrictions: You may want to eat just once that day. They have diet coke and salads and cooperate with special requests if they can. Drinks with ice in the cups?.“
