“If you’re anywhere near Richmond and haven’t stopped by Phila Burger yet, you're missing out on great food. I've tried most of the times in the menu, and I've never walked away disappointed. The food tastes amazing and hits every single time. Fresh, flavorful, and everything you want from a burger.

What really makes this place special is Sam. He’s the kind of person who remembers your face and name, your usual order, and makes you feel like more than just a customer. Honestly, at this point, I’m convinced he should just run for mayor of Richmond.

It's safe to say that many people in the Rich know about Phila Burger for good reason. But if you’re coming from outside of Richmond, do yourself a favor and give this place (and the city) a chance. If there’s one meal that’ll win you over, it’s right here.

“The food and service are really good im a local and me and my family come here a lot whenever we arw hungry. I love the nacho fries because they make them with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar. Also ive had breakfast burritos at multiple places in the area and the ones here blow any of those out of the water, the regular burritos are good too. All the food taste fresh and cooked with care not assembled quick and sloppy, the whole menu is solid and i plan to keep coming in the future.“

“What a fun and casual find. The place literally has the feel of a backyard, full of picnic tables, trees, cornhole toss, a small performance stage, and even some old worn couches. The food tasted so good. Selections were limited, but plentiful at the same time. Lots of choices of beverages, including alcohol and specialty. Also, the pumpkins were for sale. Permanent porta potties for reatrooms.“

“This is a family run place with outdoor seating. The food is quick, fresh and tasty. Women members of the family are nicer than the men, who can be clueless and unhelpful. Sometimes the meat is recooked in the crispy tacos which are otherwise my favorite. The flautas are also fresh and good as are the refried pinto beans.I like this casual place a lot—you can buy Russian River Brew next door at Raymnond’s excellent pizza place and sit in the sun with the locals.“

The hamburgers are a little bit small which I didn't really like. But overall it's better than most of the crap you get around that area.“

“Awesomely cheap tasty burgers and yummy seasoned fries. Quick service overall super great. There is no place to sit and eat or even really sit and wait. But the wait is never long. They usually clean out the milkshake machine, maybe even an hour prior to closing.“

“I definitely enjoyed the Mango Fried rice dish along with the garlic noodles. Had Thai Iced Tea, which is always a treat. I did call this order in for pick up. When I got there I had to wait a minute, because they were busy but it wasn't long. They gave me an extra Thai iced tea on the house, I didn't need it. Yet it shows the type of business I'm eating at. The ambiance is very welcoming. The art work on the walls of the culture is beautiful. I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. What I like the most about this soup 🍲 is that my feet are dancing while I am basking in this flavorful dish You owe it to yourself to get wrapped up in the warmth and and flavorful aroma while healing your body and soul. “So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

“I went around 1:30 pm on a Monday and the restaurant was busy, busy, busy, but the cashier/waitress was fast, pleasant, and deserved to be tipped well!!! We ordered the lunch specials to go: Hunan Beef (it was tender with the right amount of spice and sweet and veggies) with Chow Mein (plump and juicy) and Sesame Chicken (crispy, tender, flavorful, coating on a few pieces were a little excessive..but it was edible) with Fried Rice (very tasty, wasn't dry, no soy sauce needed). Overall the food was delicious and I need to kick my own butt for not discovering this hidden gem in Point Richmond a long time ago. I think this will be my spot from here on out, and yours, if you give it a try! Side Note: the restaurant name is hard to see and needs to be repainted but it is directly across from the library.“

“Karol was very attentive & responsive. This is the 2nd time we have had her as a server. The staff works as a team and are supportive of each other, creating a welcoming atmosphere. “DAMN GOOD MEXICAN FOOD! I don't care what anyone says in the reviews, anyone giving this place less than a 4.5 does not know what they are talking about. This place is literally one of the only good places to eat authentic Mexican food. Their regular burritos are 10.95 and they are literally the size of other restaurants that charge you 13$ for "super" burrito and them shi be nasty. Bomb ahh asada fries, the guacamole is so good, it has a perfect mix of lime, pepper, salt and avocado. The tacos taste the same as the ones do in mexico, you want authentic? This place has tacos that are literally the same thing that they sell in Mexico, literally where tacos come from! (Specifically the ones from guadalajara, those are the ones it reminds me of). Burritos are fantastic. The asada is the best from every other taco place. If you want to find a better place you have to drive at least 30 more minutes south/southwest. This is an honest review by a real Mexican, not a gringo that only knows shell tacos and chimichangas.“

“If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican food this is the spot. Honestly, it’s the best I’ve had outside of my mom’s cooking (and that says a lot). The homemade tortillas are amazing, the salsa is full of flavor, and everything tastes fresh and made with care.
I originally came here craving menudo, and now I’m completely hooked. If it were closer, I’d probably eat here every day but it’s 100% worth the drive.

“Have been here a couple times, and it’s always utterly delicious. Plus, the folks who work their are so kind and friendly. I asked for veggie tacos one time, and not only were they flavorful and overflowing, but they even checked to see if I wanted their fresh handmade tortillas — anyone can do a great meat taco, but veggie tacos are harder to pull off without actual spices and attention to detail. Salsas are fantastic. I am in love with this place.“

Everyone can’t cook NOL style, the gumbo, the red beans, the jambalaya the macaroni salad and the chicken 🐓 was straight trash. Chicken still had long hairs all over the wings. That’s all 😡😡😡🤣😂 The pictures hanging with the food on them make you think the food is so good. I only recommend the cat fish. “the menu i saw online was an old one—they’ve raised their prices significantly since. 12.99 for a regular burrito, 14.99 for a super burrito. burritos are smaller than other neighboring taquerias, so you’re not getting as much bang for your buck. nonetheless, a pretty good burrito. it’s in a gas station but there are some stools where you can eat inside if you wish.“

However, Ive gotten food from them since i was a kid; Over time they raised prices from $5 burritos to $11 which is not worth going there anymore bcus over time they started putting more rice/beans/cream, and little bit of meat in the burritos.“
