“I've been told about Phila Burger for a while now, but never had a chance to stop and eat. I finally had the opportunity the other day, so I popped by and grabbed the Phila Burger to take home.

The wait for my burger was less than 10 minutes (or at least felt like it). The guy who rang me up was nice, and the burger was good and maintained the majority of its structural integrity by the time I'd gotten home (you gotta take it home to eat or grub on the road as there's nowhere to sit and eat casually with the exception of a few chairs that operate as a waiting area).“

“This is a family run place with outdoor seating. The food is quick, fresh and tasty. Women members of the family are nicer than the men, who can be clueless and unhelpful. Sometimes the meat is recooked in the crispy tacos which are otherwise my favorite. The flautas are also fresh and good as are the refried pinto beans.I like this casual place a lot—you can buy Russian River Brew next door at Raymnond’s excellent pizza place and sit in the sun with the locals.“

“This was my regular spot before I moved away, I miss them! My favorite is eggplant and they have 2 of the best eggplant dishes in the area. I get the yellow rice too even though I’m vegetarian- it’s that good. Huong Tra helped me gain an appetite when I was too depressed to eat 💖“

“Very nice cozy breakfast-lunch café. Most items on the menu have special gourmet touches. They offer a LOT of choices! Staff is really friendly and welcoming. I have been going there since yesterday! I highly recommend!“

“The food and service are really good im a local and me and my family come here a lot whenever we arw hungry. I love the nacho fries because they make them with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar. Also ive had breakfast burritos at multiple places in the area and the ones here blow any of those out of the water, the regular burritos are good too. All the food taste fresh and cooked with care not assembled quick and sloppy, the whole menu is solid and i plan to keep coming in the future.“

“Classic Bay Area spot for burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and definitely shakes. Good food. Good service. Not a great neighborhood, but if you're not local, they make it worth the drive. This is walk up only. The staff were friendly and courteous!“

“Really good for what it is. We came on a Sat evening at 6pm (they close at 7pm). We were there until 715pm, and people were still chilling outside eating. 7-8 groups of ppl from 2 to 7 pplv in each group. Nice atmosphere, outdoor space is cute, music not loud, and she changed it when it was too 60's (most of us were in our 40's or younger).
We had the sliders (3 diff burgers, one chicken) and they were good, with fries = $22. Perfect for 2 of us girls. And we had 2 canned beers from Oakland brewery = $10 each. They were good too. Total with tax was $46.

“I've been here about five times now, and all the food has been great in terms of both quality and size, whether dining in or taking out. Very small for dining in tho, probably seating no more than 10 max, and the prices on the bottled Thai tea & coffee are not competitive with nearby boba shops (with admittedly worse service and worse food or no food at all).“

“I definitely enjoyed the Mango Fried rice dish along with the garlic noodles. Had Thai Iced Tea, which is always a treat. I did call this order in for pick up. When I got there I had to wait a minute, because they were busy but it wasn't long. They gave me an extra Thai iced tea on the house, I didn't need it. Yet it shows the type of business I'm eating at. The ambiance is very welcoming. The art work on the walls of the culture is beautiful. Would recommend friends/family to come and try this place out.“

I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. “Staff seats you quick. The prices are fair, but the portions is where it is. Other Vietnamese restaurants have popped up, no offence, but they seem to cater to the American taste bud, cost more for smaller portions, and are tastewise alright. A lot of Asian restaurants cater to a broughter palette now, have a fusion look and their food. Vietnamese restaurants like this take you back to the 90s and early 00s. The music is feint, and food rice plates remind me of food taste and portions of my Vietnamese American friend's home. Please support these Family run businesses.“

“If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican spot, you’ve found it. This place made me feel like I was in a rancho in Mexico. Owned and operated by a mom and pop, the service was amazing. We pulled up after close and they were still happy to serve us. The warmth and hospitality was unmatched. On top of that the borrego was FIRE!!! Tender, juicy, clean and not gamey at all. The tortillas were handmade and delicious, the consume wasn’t oily and had garbanzos without overpowering the taste of the consume. 10/10 recomend for a home cooked style Mexican meal.“

We ordered the lunch specials to go: Hunan Beef (it was tender with the right amount of spice and sweet and veggies) with Chow Mein (plump and juicy) and Sesame Chicken (crispy, tender, flavorful, coating on a few pieces were a little excessive..but it was edible) with Fried Rice (very tasty, wasn't dry, no soy sauce needed). We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

The pupusas revueltas my friend and I had for lunch that day where mmmmm... the curtido aaaaah... and the salsa, wow!!!... With that said, you would have to go try them to understand what I mean. “I love the menudo and birria de chivo from this restaurant. It's authentic mexican flavors. The birria de chivo is fresh and the meat is so tender. Plus you get home made tortillas which makes the meal even better. The owner and staff are really friendly. I don't know why I didn't know about this place before.“

“Ive been coming to Tacos La Raza for some years and they consistently deliver on flavor. The tacos de suadero are juicy, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I just had the packed steak super burrito and it was delicious. Salsa roja is perfect not overbearing.
My only complaint is the meat portions on the tacos are inconsistent. For some reason that bothers me.
The ladies are welcoming and friendly.

Everyone can’t cook NOL style, the gumbo, the red beans, the jambalaya the macaroni salad and the chicken 🐓 was straight trash. Chicken still had long hairs all over the wings.
