“Surprisingly good pizza. The place is more of a takeout spot in an older strip mall but don’t let that deter you.It has picnic tables that u can sit at to eat in. Thin crust, good quality sauce and cheese. Friendly people working there. Just off the highway. Better than I expected - a pleasant and yummy surprise.“

“Good, but not great. Lacking in the details- cutlery was on wrong side of plate. Chicken kebab was good, and well-sized, though had a spot of gristle. Service was attentive, but they missed these details at the slow time of day. Pellegrino was a bargain though, at $5 for a full size bottle.Lunch was tasty, but at $43 out the door i expected a bit more.“

“Just dropped off Tam Boreenman off at The Happy Ending House of Asian Flavors there on Tennessee street, he asked if I could pick him up in 10 minutes....10 minutes! I told him he can just walk over to the La Pinata Taqueria, where I'll be enjoying some Tacos de Canasta, they're the best in Vallejo! Especially the potato and the frejoli tacos. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Do yourselves a favor and get some food from here. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Their cheesesteak hoagies are too addicting. My wife asked if I wanted her to pack me a lunch and was offended when I said no thank you ?. Aside from the food, the guy working behind the window (I imagine the owner) is just a genuine, down to earth guy - you can tell by just a 30 second conversation with him and his prices. They could easily charge 30-50% more but it seems he just genuinely wants to provide high quality food at the most affordable prices. Highly recommend“

“The food is creative and delicious! Dad and mom work the front of the restaurant and they are absolute gems: attentive, friendly and they make the dining experience special and fun. The food options were tantalizing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! The experience would be even better if the interior looked more like earlier photos (less cluttered and more stylish).
Vegetarian options: There are some options available.
Parking: No dedicated parking, street parking only.“

“Delicious food. Amazing service. And great portions. We got the poke bowls; they were great!! We also got the 3 amigos special roll, green tea, miso soup, and salmon nigiri. All amazing!! Our server was nice, quick, and very attentive. Always making sure our tea was hot and we were well covered. A couple outdoor tables, and a good amount of indoor. Tons of take out action. They have cool purple rice as a signature. And the fish was very tasty! Highly recommend. There is a good sized parking lot next to the restaurant. Just be sure to park with caution; the neighboring Ace hardware brings a lot of turn over of large work trucks that have some challenges with the parking lot. This is a great spot!!
Vegetarian options: Tons of veg options
Dietary restrictions: Tons of veg options
Parking: Street parking and a lot both free!
Kid-friendliness: Yes!
Wheelchair accessibility: A bit tight, but I believe it is Ada compliant“

“Best taco truck hands down! Ordered tripe, cow tongue, and beef tacos! Amazing flavor! The atmosphere is not so great as the truck is next to a dive bar. I get it, people get drunk and the food craving kicks in. Will be eating here indefinitely unless food quality changes. Highly recommended this taco truck! Street parking!“

“The new waitress brought my mom lemonade instead of hot water with lemon , I don’t think she understands English that well and it was her first day, so the owner ended up bringing the right thing the next time but it was in a glass for water lol, the prices aren’t that bad for the food..I got shrimp tikka masala with a mango lassi and moms got a soup an we both shared garlic naan, with her ice water Dal (lentil) soup , hot lemon water and I also got iced and water
Parking: The parking is compact and tight , so it’s difficult to park an find spots cause it’s in the same strip as other eating spots and businesses“

“Date night with the lady and we decided on pizza. We did a quick search and found nothing but over priced greasy choices in our local area (Walnut Creek, Concord). We found four corners pizza n pasta and the pictures and reviews sounded good. We ordered the Papa Charlie’s pizza and a Caesar salad and it had exceeded our expectations. Home made Caesar and ranch dressing, fresh toppings, evenly spread, and crispy crust. You can tell they take pride in their food and it shows. Lots of open seating, great atmosphere and clean. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. This is my new favorite pizza spot and I highly recommend it.“

“One of our favorite places to celebrate any occasion. There is a gracious vibe here that is really rare. “We came across this incredible place about 4-5 months ago and have been hooked ever since. The owners Naomi and Dan are wonderful people and they create daily specials that they run out of almost every day because the food is that delicious!!! One of my favorites is Tuesday special: breaded pork chops with Mac& Cheese with gravy! My picky 4 years old LOVES their Mac & Cheese!!!! She asks for it every day LOL I love their fried Brussel sprouts !!!My husband loves their smoked andouille and chicken gumbo!! The soups are made from the scratch and are very yummy! Cream of cauliflower is our favorite and we also love others : mushroom spinachoke ( which is spinach and artichoke), southern chicken succotash. They have a lot of different soup which we haven’t event tried all yet. The soups change daily so check every day foe their soup special. Their po’ boy sandwiches are amazingly delicious as well! We love oyster po’ boy and sausage po’ boy and shrimp po’ boy all are delicious! Saturday 8-10:30 only they have yummy dessert beignets but you gotta call ahead coz they sell out of them fast!!! And the rice and beans special which they serve on Saturday is delicious! You can’t go wrong with ANY of their food but you CAN go wrong if you’ve driven and haven’t given them a chance! Try them today you won’t be sorry!!!“

“We ran across this place looking for dinner late the other night. It was closing in 5 minutes so wasn't a good choice then but we noticed the pizza birria on the menu and just had to try it. So when we were in the area again but earlier we decided to give it a shot and boy were we glad. The pizza birria was like a multilayered quesadilla filled with birria and cheese with a side of soup. Filled with onions and topped with cucumber and radishes + add yourself lime and salsa. It was fantastic and we polished off the whole thing with two people. Will be back to try other things. It's inside the Food Barn.“

“this place is absolutely fire.House made tortillas make a big difference, and ordering the burrito Dorado (golden, fried in butter) was a delightful experience.the quesotacos are a must try, especially the shrimp ones.My buddy introduced me to this place but I live at least 50 minutes away and now it's torture knowing it's out there and I can't have it often. It had a line, be prepared to wait but it's absolutely worth it.

“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

“If there’s one place that’s been a constant in my life, it’s Al’s Big Burger in Albany, CA. For the past 25 years, Al’s has been my go-to spot for the ultimate comfort food experience. From my middle school days to now, nearly turning 40, my affection for Al’s has only grown stronger.Let’s talk about the main event: the bacon cheeseburger. It’s nothing short of perfection. The burger is always cooked to juicy perfection, the bacon crisp, and the cheese melted just right, creating a symphony of flavors that dance in your mouth with every bite. Pairing this with their golden, crispy fries and the unparalleled creamy, dreamy peanut butter shake is the epitome of a classic American meal that can’t be beaten. But it’s not just the food that keeps me coming back year after year—it’s the nostalgia and the consistently warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Al’s feel like home. Walking into Al’s is like stepping into a time machine, where for a moment, you can relive those carefree days of youth while enjoying a meal that’s as delicious now as it was back then.Over the years, I’ve seen trends come and go, but Al’s Big Burger remains timeless. It’s a testament to the quality of their food and the love they put into each meal. Whether you’re a long-time local or just passing through Albany, Al’s is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of burger heaven. Here’s to Al’s Big Burger—may it continue to be a beacon of culinary delight for many more years to come. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure, do yourself a favor and drop by. You might just find yourself writing a glowing review 25 years from now, too.“

“Great service, great food, great ambience, and huge parking lot. What more to ask for? Had the Bun Bo Hue, perfect for the current weather. The broth was awesome, definitely would've had a second bowl if I didn't scarf down their appetizers. The Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings had the perfect crisp to it, their Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls were refreshing, and the Cambodian Beef Skewers had me wanting more. Definitely recommending this place to my friends in the Bay Area! And most definitely stopping by for their Vietnamese Iced Coffee whenever I visit my parents in Sac. 5/5 for me, hands down! Can't wait to go back!“
