Tasty Sichuan Reviews
We went there for dinner and it was quite day but the food and the service was sooo goood. She was so friendly and kind. We loved it there. The atmosphere is so nice and it’s so clean too. They had a picture on the wall that made us feel as if we were in China and the plants just made it even better.
We ordered fish, dry hot pot, spicy hot pot
And shuimai( my least favorite one) other than that the portions were generous. We live close by and will be back again....read full review

The food was pretty good. The serving was too quick, with appetizers coming after some main dishes, and dessert coming too soon. The waitress was nice though. If only they served with layers we'd be more satisfied. Overall a 4.5 experience.
Great food and price!

Tasty Sichuan in El Cerrito is a welcoming restaurant that offers a variety of flavorful Chinese dishes with a focus on Sichuan cuisine. The restaurant is well-regarded for its great portions, delicious flavors, and friendly service. Many diners highlight the quality of the wok-hei, which is spot on, and the dishes are consistently described as flavorful and satisfying.
A popular dish among customers is the Wild Chili & Cilantro Beef, praised for its tender beef, fresh celery and cilantro, and fragrant, satisfying flavor. Diners often find themselves eating more rice than usual to enjoy the dish fully, indicating its deliciousness. The Cilantro beef is recommended as an overall great dish, well-executed and flavorful. Fried rice, while slightly underseasoned on its own, pairs perfectly with other dishes. The stir-fried rice noodles with shrimp and stir-fried shredded mixed mushrooms are also favorites, especially for those who love garlic and fragrant flavors.
The menu features other notable items like the QIAO-JIAO beef hot pot soup, which tastes light, naturally sweet, and reminiscent of Taiwan flavors, and the Szechuan pickled glass fish fillets, known for their crunchy texture and unique taste. The boiled fish in chili oil is also appreciated for its excellent texture. Service is attentive, with staff often checking if guests need more rice or other accompaniments.
Overall, Tasty Sichuan offers a cozy, friendly atmosphere and high-quality, flavorful dishes that make it a favorite neighborhood spot for families and friends alike.
