My wife and I often drove past Golden Gate, noticing its positive reviews, and finally decided to try it out. We're glad we did.The restaurant is located in an industrial part of Richmond, with lots of semi-truck activity and occasional train traffic. Despite this, there's plenty of parking and lots of outdoor space to eat.The outdoor seating could be improved with more shade and heating. Just happened to find this place. The food was way beyond what I expected. Great! Tables are mostly outside, be prepared. At first I was surprised to find this place so busy on a Friday late lunch, but now I know why. I don't get to Richmond much but will be here next time if at all possible.

Visiting from Phoenix, randomly googled a place near my air b and b. Found Golden Gate Bistro.... And when I tell you it's the best food my daughters and I have had, I mean it. No exaggerations. DELICIOUS food, staff is kind and welcoming. Absolutely must stop destination if you are in the area.
