About Lulu’s Little Kitchen

Located directly across the street from the Albany cinema, Lulu’s Little Kitchen offers a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere with gorgeous interior and very kind and attentive staff. The owner and chef named the restaurant after her childhood nickname meaning Pearl. Parking near by on all streets has a 90 minute time limit, except for on Sundays and holidays. The restaurant is revamping their space and menu so soon it'll only be salads and rice bowls. The best meal in years, with fresh, flavorful and balanced food. Every little detail is spot on. The lamb carnitas hummus and salads with chicken, crispy protected, mandarin oranges are yummy. The hibiscus Palmer Fri k is refreshing. The shuqaquilles are the best thing, the knafeh pancakes are the second best thing. Turkish eggs are really good but a touch too runny, the labneh and spices on top is delicious. The baklava french toast is definitely a dessert. The cold brew has a nice flavor from the cold foam of spiced dates. The food is perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable. It's hard not to go every single week.

Such marvelous taste lingered in my mouth....I almost refused to brush my teeth. Delivery service was fast on a Friday evening to me in El Sobrante.

Was really sad to see my favorite unique + quality brunch spot in the bay change format to being fast casual. It was such an easy brunch pick to take out of towners or friends to.

Now instead, they've become easily one of the best fast-casual food in the bay. So I really can't complain. I guess their format changed worked because I've eaten here more often than when they were full service. The value for the money you get here is pretty nuts. Still just as good ingredients...read full review

I expected this to be just another average lunch spot but the food was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The curry had a nice kick to it and the portion sizes were generous for the price. My only small complaint is that the seating felt a bit cramped when it got busy
