“Excelente servicio y por supuesto la comida es verdaderamente deliciosa viajamos por una hr de San Francisco a Vallejo pero valió la pena el marisco es muy fresco y riquísimo todooooo!! los platillos mexicanos como el Molcajete es muy rico. Al principio ellos ponen chips crujientes frescos y salsa en tu mesa y tienen una barra de diferentes salsas las cuales puedes disfrutar con tus chips, el ambiente te hace sentir como en casa ellos son muy amables y al final te llevan unos ricos churros con crema de cortesía. Volveríamos una y muchas veces más a este lugar.“

“I love vietnamese food. I often travel to vietnam and eat all kinds of vietnamese food there. Pho Huong Viet restaurant's atmosphere is not the best. However, I go vietnamese restaurant for the quality of Pho and shrimp spring roll. The Pho at this restaurant has very thick soup and it has very light flavor of herbal taste. Some people may not like it. But I love it. Their pho's meat and noodle portion is about 50% more than other places and honestly very delicious. To me, quality of food is lot more important than atmosphere of the restaurant. So I am willing to give 5 star.“

“Great place for breakfast. I had a 3 egg breakfast. Boring toast, but it's a diner, and the breakfast was perfectly cooked. My buddy had a burger, really substantial, and the fries were fantastic. “We were a little nervous about trying this restaurant because of the bars on the windows, but it turned out to be a great experience. The food was delicious and tasted very authentic. I didn’t catch our server’s name, but he was an older gentleman who provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!“

I’d stop there with my uncle Jimmy Nolan sometimes as well in his semi truck. I was just a kid. I’ll be up in Vallejo next week delivering a load to Mare Island. “Food is delicious. Their bahn mi sandwiches have quality flavor and are packed generously with meat and veggies. When I ordered it, they did communicate to me it would take long about 25 mins. However I did end up waiting about 35-40 mins. Order ahead of time if you're in a rush. I noticed other people were waiting a while for their food as well. There was only one person taking orders and delivering food. They are family owned and ran. I hope they can hire more people to make it run more efficiently.I do like how they have tofu bahn mi as an option! Most bahn mi places don't offer that.The seats seem scattered. However there is various options for seating which is good for large groups. I would come back, but probably order ahead of time!“

“We literally found Elephant Thai Cuisine by accident while picking up something nearby, and what a hidden gem in Vallejo! We have been searching for authentic Thai food for a long time. We have tried others near and far, but nothing compares to this.While the food is incredible, the experience is what sets them apart. The owner, Mr. Pooh, and his staff are warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive while remaining highly efficient. They make the experience magnificent.The restaurant is beautifully decorated with elegant, room-sized photos of actual Thailand marketplaces, accompanied by gentle, soothing music.Now for the food: indescribable! Every single dish is consistent. The Massaman curry tastes incredible on Wednesday and exactly the same on Sunday. The fresh juices and the fried wontons (my favorite!) are always fresh, crispy, and delicious. We dine here often and highly recommend it! Great food, great people—the perfect blend.“

Best know for their fried chicken with spicy salt trays which is so good and crunchy! Also their combination fried rice, people also order their fried fish, bbq chicken, and honey walnut prawns for parties. They’re only takeout and they are always busy. Best to order ahead and allow yourself time to pick up before large parties. I just call to make an order and you pay when you pick up. I wish I could see their prices online or in person for the small and large trays. For a small chicken and small fried rice tray it cost over $100. So large trays are probably about $100. Tastes good and feeds a lot of people. Located in the island pacific plaza, plenty of parking and don’t leave anything valuable in your car.“

The sisig was one of the best I’ve had: crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The pork lechon was also a standout—super crispy skin, juicy tender meat, and packed with flavor.

Portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. You can tell this place takes pride in serving up real Filipino comfort food done right.

“Las Palmitas is a solid, family-owned Mexican restaurant in Vallejo with deep roots in the community.
I was there for the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Banda Lonchera—something we do monthly—and it was a great spot for a midweek lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, especially for a Wednesday around noon. Good energy, not rushed, and easy to have conversations with the group.
I’ve been here before for drinks, and they have a full bar with a great selection, which makes it a good option for both lunch and after-work meetups. This time I had the quesadillas and enjoyed them. Portions were solid, food was good, and others in our group also seemed to enjoy their meals.
What really stood out was getting to meet the family behind the restaurant. This is truly a family business—started by the mom over 30 years ago and now run by her two sons. You can feel that history and pride when you’re there.
If you’re looking for a classic Mexican family restaurant with good food, a full bar, and strong community ties, Las Palmitas is worth checking out.“
