“Excelente servicio y por supuesto la comida es verdaderamente deliciosa viajamos por una hr de San Francisco a Vallejo pero valió la pena el marisco es muy fresco y riquísimo todooooo!! los platillos mexicanos como el Molcajete es muy rico. Al principio ellos ponen chips crujientes frescos y salsa en tu mesa y tienen una barra de diferentes salsas las cuales puedes disfrutar con tus chips, el ambiente te hace sentir como en casa ellos son muy amables y al final te llevan unos ricos churros con crema de cortesía. Volveríamos una y muchas veces más a este lugar.“

“Tony created an unforgettable moment in time for my entire family with the Loki Gator birthday cake that he custom made for my sister-in-law. Tony is professional with his beautiful website, clear communication, and makes you feel like family in his warm hospitality. This was the first cake I ever had made by Tony, and it exceeded my expectations. The cake tastes as good as it looks. Upon tasting my first bite I was immediately transported back in time to my childhood remembering the rich unique textures and flavors of a cake from long ago. The entire process of ordering the cake, submitting payment, and picking up the finished product went so smoothly. I simply sent Tony a picture of what I wanted, which was a random image my brother had text to me of a Loki Gator. Tony made fantasy a reality. Tony's Cakes has become our household standard. I will be returning for more "GLORIOUS" cakes as Loki would say! ***Anybody leaving negative reviews about Tony's Cakes probably didn't want to pay, failed to follow the clear instructions on the website contract, or is looking for someone to blame for their errors. Tony did everything his website and contract said he would do. When I arrived at the store all the staff made sure all of my needs were met while I was there, and Tony helped me figure out my Zelle payment, even more he helped us get the cake in the car all by himself. He really didn't have to do any of those things but he did. My only regret is that I should have thanked him more than I did in person, because I was distracted with getting the cake home safe. “Quick lunch whilst waiting for train. Beef Pho was excellent with plenty of slices of beef, many vegetables and noodles with a lovely aromatic broth. My wife’s noodle dish was huge with again plenty of vegetables and a very spiced sauce. Both were delicious. Highly recommend“

“We literally found Elephant Thai Cuisine by accident while picking up something nearby, and what a hidden gem in Vallejo! We have been searching for authentic Thai food for a long time. We have tried others near and far, but nothing compares to this.While the food is incredible, the experience is what sets them apart. The owner, Mr. Pooh, and his staff are warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive while remaining highly efficient. They make the experience magnificent.The restaurant is beautifully decorated with elegant, room-sized photos of actual Thailand marketplaces, accompanied by gentle, soothing music.Now for the food: indescribable! Every single dish is consistent. The Massaman curry tastes incredible on Wednesday and exactly the same on Sunday. The fresh juices and the fried wontons (my favorite!) are always fresh, crispy, and delicious. We dine here often and highly recommend it! Great food, great people—the perfect blend.“

I walked in mistaking it for Vallejo Brewing Company right after they closed for the night, but the menu was so enticing I had to come back during business hours!

The red beans and rice with Cajun shrimp is an INSTANT comfort food go-to, and not to start drama, but a certain barbecue place on the block could learn a thing or two about making amazing cornbread from this chef! The perfect, fresh baked, sweet and buttery portion of cornbread I've had since my mom's recipe.

The $7 cocktail special was also amazing, not too powerful but not so watered down you couldn't feel it!

The gal working the counter was sweet as can be both times I've been in as well.

“This food truck is located in a parking space of an old closes furniture store across Walmart Vallejo. They have tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, sopes, ceviches. Meats include: Asada/Steak, Pastor/ Spicy Pork, Carnitas/ Fried Pork, Pollo/Chicken Cabeza/Head, Buche/Stomach, Tripa/Tripe, Lengua/ Tongue.
They also have drinks available. I tried their regular carnitas burrito and regular tripa burrito on a late afternoon weekend. It's not the best comparable to others I have tried but affordable. Too much beans in my opinion. Will come back again to try others. This business accepts Cash only. Tables and chairs available.“

“I love the popusas from here they are a good size and fair price they are good ! and the lady is really nice it's a small place family operated but if youre waiting outside for the food the lady will walk outside and bring it to you without asking. for popusas this is where I go! they have like a dine in area but I have never seen anybody actually eat there it has always been take out for me and for everyone I've seen gone there as well never asked either ?“

“My dad was craving shrimp fried rice so I was searching in a place in Vallejo for take out and thought I’d try 88 baobao’s. I called in and it was easy to place an order. I ordered shrimp fried rice, sauteed green beans, popcorn chicken, and a side of cucumbers. My order was ready in 10-15 mins for pick up. Service was quick. This was my first time ordering from this location, I didn’t even order any baos sio mai or dumplings but I tried them at other locations. They have indoor seating and the food has huge portions to serve lots of people and last for multiple meals. Located in the Gateway Plaza across from Vallejo Costco, so there’s plenty of parking. Located next to Ulta and quickly.“

“Stopped by Three Star in Vallejo after a recommendation and left seriously impressed. The service was warm and genuinely friendly, the kind that makes you feel welcome right away. I went for the garlic spicy wings, all flats, which is a bold move, and they absolutely delivered. Crispy, flavorful, and that chili oil on the table? Incredible. I even asked if I could buy some. Not for sale, but they surprised me with a little ramekin to take home, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also had the pot stickers and Kung Pao chicken, and both were packed with flavor. Honestly, for a place called Three Star, I'd give it four and a half. Great food, even better people, and I'll definitely be back.“

“The first order taker took forever with the ladies right before me. I probably waited over 20-30min. He didn't explain the sizes well and misrepresented the price. The sauce was only in the middle, far from the edge and the cheese was worse.

The saving grace was the manager who made things right. I forgot her name unfortunately. She was attentive and wanted to make sure I was taken care of.

The guy firing the pizza seemed to know whose pizza was whose when they came out. If that makes sense. A bit tired right now. 😅“

“I ordered a London Broil roast beef sandwich on a sourdough roll with havarti cheese and everything on it as well as an order of the pineapple soft serve ice cream. Do yourself a favor and eat here. This place is legit no filler all quality. Oh, and that pineapple soft serve? That *hit slap too.“

“Soledad was our server, she was incredible! Lovely lady, very polite, nice smile, whatever she's getting paid, quadruple that!! Food was 10/10, the syrup tasted very good, (and I'm French Canadian where we produce most of the real maple syrup in the world, I know what I'm saying, trust 🤝) the place was very clean, atmosphere was very calm, relaxed and simply perfect! “The sandwiches are delicious. The person who helped us was very polite, made our sandwiches quickly, and exactly as we ordered them. The sandwiches were HUGE. The sandwich shop was clean, the people who work there were all wearing masks and gloves. Everyone was polite and kind. “YoSushi has been a special place for my family for a long time. When we lived in Vallejo nearly 10 years ago, this was one of our regular dinner spots. We came here often because the sushi was always fresh, the menu had a great variety, and it was a place we genuinely looked forward to visiting.

Back then, we could feed our family of four for around $50–60, which felt like a great value for the quality and quantity of food we received. Those meals created a lot of great memories for us.

We recently came back after several years, and while it was nice to revisit an old favorite, the experience wasn't quite the same. The food is still good, and they continue to offer an excellent selection of sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes. I wouldn't say the food is bad by any means—it just didn't have the same flavor or quality that we remembered from years ago.

The biggest difference, however, was the pricing. We spent over $100 for just two people, which was a bit of a surprise. Like many restaurants, prices have increased over the years, but it definitely changed the overall value compared to what we remembered.

Even with those changes, YoSushi is still a solid sushi restaurant with a wide variety of choices and food that's enjoyable. I think longtime customers may notice the differences, but if you're looking for a good sushi spot in Vallejo with plenty of options, it's still worth checking out. It'll always hold a special place for our family because of the memories we made there years ago.“
