88 BaoBao Dumpling House is a delicious spot in Vallejo, located in the Gateway Plaza across from the Vallejo Costco and next to Ulta, with plenty of parking. The chow mein is hella good, and the wonton soup is spot on. Customers recommend the shrimp fried rice, sauteed green beans, popcorn chicken, and a side of cucumbers. Everything tastes so fresh, and the food has huge portions to serve lots of people and last for multiple meals. Service is quick and friendly, with easy takeout orders ready in 10-15 minutes. This is an outstanding dumpling location off the highway, way better than corporate BS food options. However, be aware that they serve fast and do not let the food cool down before serving—it will burn your mouth. Getting takeout and driving 10 minutes home results in perfect heat. Whether for volunteers or family, this is great food in a pinch.
