“wanted to hate this place becuase the wait was so long but honestly the sushi was so freaking fresh and the rolls were massive. definitely worth the wait, id wait again. the salmon had this buttery texture that just melted.

im already planning my next trip back there, also their miso soup was really good too which i wasnt expecting from a place that focuses on rolls. definitely my new go to spot in albany“

“It's a small dining area, so was kind of tight but the food was good so I didn't mind. We ordered the seafood omelette, which included shrimp, salmon, bay scallops, cheese and tomatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. It came with seasoned potatoes, and two large fluffy biscuits that melted in my mouth. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be a repeat customer.“

“I've been many times and always enjoy the food. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary today, so in my reservation request I asked if they could play our song after we got there. Without saying anything to the staff about it when we arrived, the song came on a little after we were seated. We both teared up a bit; it surprised me how something so simple could feel so special. Thank you Tane staff. Also, always get the cheesecake; take it to go if you're full.“

Crispy shrimp & meat tofu skin roll - good, would have been excellent if it's a tad saltier
Siumai - good but not outstanding
House special pan fried noodle - good with premium proteins
Dry-fried string bean - ok, a bit overcooked
Coffee-glazed baby back pork ribs - not good, the sauce was ok but the ribs had very little meat and not crispy enough on the outside. Koi Palace makes a much better version.

The prices were on the expensive side for dim sum. Service was excellent. Waiting to get into the (only) restroom required lots of shuffling to make ways for staff going in/out of the kitchen and cashier's stand.“

This was one of the best food experiences in my life! It was not just a meal...but an EXPERIENCE! Each bite, you went on a journey of flavors and textures that kept changing in your mouth. Layers of deliciousness 😋.

They change their menu up a lot. We had the celery root ceviche that was out of this world! We were not going to order it at first but the waiter said it was the best thing on the menu...and she was RIGHT!

This was followed by the fava bean battered pork belly and the short rib entree that was so tender that an impure thought could cut it! It was meat candy!

The for dessert we did this dark chocolate cake and the olbea!!!! Do NOT miss out on the oblea! Both were just so divine!

The only pain I experienced was wishing I had another stomach to fit more food!

“Really just a phenomenal spot. Took a gamble the first time after a load out on the way to the airport; could really sit here and eat sushi all day. Very nice waiter/host that I remember both times - everyone was so welcoming. Local tofu appetizer was excellent. Every piece of fish I wanted more of especially the sea trout; exceptionally fresh and also well cut / not too large of a piece especially with the sashimi. Can’t wait to be back in the area so i can visit again“

We got the Signature Toripaitan, one original and one spicy. It was good, plenty of food and excellent flavor. It's a small and cozy restaurant, wouldn't recommend for large crowds. Get their early, pretty much at opening time or else be prepared to wait outside.“

“Had a luncheon @ Perbacco with my 9 coworkers and Manager to say “goodbye & farewell” to a retiring coworker and “welcome” to a new coworker. Started with a round of hors d'oeuvre’s. The thin sliced veal with a sauce and capers was delicious! The fried shrimp, veggies and olives/anchovies…also with a sauce was awesome as well. For my main, I had CRESTE DI GALLO - semolina pasta - wild mushroom ragu - spinach - ricotta salata. Our waiter was the best! I saved one of the sugar cookies from my deserts…Burnt Carmel Gelato. Mentioned it to our waiter and as we were leaving, I heard “Sir! Sir!” He brought me one of their meringue cookies to also share with my partner! I thought that was just awesome! The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso).
