Was closed when I went, even though it's supposed to be open according to their business hours. I love the view from this neighborhood, but the few shops that exist are lacking in culture (i.e., the shop owners don't know how to respond when someone is friendly to them), and I didn't get a creative, friendly vibe walking around.

We had Trish and her folks cater our wedding reception at the Lake Temescal Beach House and it was everything we hoped for. We had been having a lot of trouble finding someone on the EBRPD list that was willing to provide the type of food we were looking for (finger foods and snacks for a game night style event) rather than what they thought we should be serving (what my wife calls "rubber chicken") until we met with Trish. We needed a nearby place for a quick lunch on the way to visit a friend in Kensington, and TA showed several. The Arlington didn't disappoint: the sandwiches (including the pulled pork special) were tasty and the cole slaw was a great side dish. They have a couch and big flat screen TV where they show movies, a piano for their live music, and other regular events. Clearly a happening place! Worth a try if you happen into Kensington.
