“Marc and team catered our wedding at the Brazilian Room, and we were extremely happy with both the planning process and the food/support on the day itself. The Arlington team are clearly pros at working in the Brazilian room - and had everything set up quickly and efficiently day-of - even though we had a shorter evening slot. The food was very good (especially the grilled salmon and pesto pasta) - everyone went back for seconds and we got many compliments! Marc was transparent and easy to work with throughout, and we thought pricing was reasonable compared to other vendors we looked at. Would highly recommend!!“

“Amazing experience! We came here after a show that ran overtime, so we were a bit late. Regardless, we were greeted with a huge smile and the cocktail menu. When cleaning up the first course of bites, our server asked if we would like to leave the sauce to eat with the bread we had left. We both found this very thoughtful because usually at these fancy restaurants I’m worried about my food getting cleaned up too quickly and not being able to enjoy everything long enough! At the end of the night we had to run off to get our car out of the parking lot and completely forgot to take our to-go bag with us. We got a missed call and voicemail to let us know, and they were going to hold it for us for another 30mins even though we were the last customers of the night and had already left! The service was amazing and so was the food. I cannot recommend this place enough!Vegetarian options: If you inform your server that you are vegetarian they will point out everything you can eat. From my experience, there was at least one dish in each section to choose from, and I didn’t order that much for myself.“

“Impeccable service, some of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area (including the 50+ Michelin starred restaurants I’ve visited). Love that the head chef and kitchen staff get involved in the service. Terrific beverage pairing. Admired the Chef’s willingness to get off the beaten path a bit with the 20 or so bites/dishes and not just play the fancy diner’s greatest hits. A few misses the night we were there including the pork (dry), minuet & dungeness crab (too salty) and mackerel (too much vinegar/acid). The Som clearly loves his craft and breathes life into his also unusual pairings. A shoo-in for a Michelin Star, and I suspect with time two stars as the food continues to be explored and tested for excellence. $245 for the menu and $165 for the pairing feels neither like a steal or robbery but on the money. Hats off John Wesley and Team.“

“Stepping into, one is immediately struck by its excellent ambiance, a blend of elegance and warmth that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The service, too, was impeccable, with attentive staff ready to cater to every need. However, the journey took a slight detour when our eagerly awaited dishes arrived, only to find them disappointingly cold. Despite the initial chill, the standout of the evening was undoubtedly the risotto. Served piping hot and bursting with flavor, it was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication. The fillet mignon, unfortunately, failed to meet expectations, arriving cold and lacking the desired tenderness. Even the truffle fries shared the same fate, arriving at our table with a noticeable chill. To their credit, the staff quickly acknowledged the oversight, going above and beyond to rectify the situation. Not only were we not charged for the subpar steak, but we were also treated to complimentary desserts. And what a treat they were! The desserts not only delighted the palate but also dazzled the eyes, a true testament to the artistry of the pastry chef. In conclusion, while the culinary journey had its ups and downs, the exceptional service and the culinary prowess showcased in dishes like the risotto and the stunning desserts left a lasting impression. With a bit more attention to detail in ensuring dishes are served at the appropriate temperature, Miller &Lux has the potential to truly shine as a culinary gem in the City“

I could write a whole post on how amazing and lovely this is as a date spot for dinner and how much I freaking love their salads and gluten free pizzas (possibly my favorite one in the bay), but this is about brunch. We had no idea they did brunch and when we looked at the menu for it online, it didn’t list any mains. But we went anyway and were blown away. I’m adding a pic of the actual brunch menu so you can see the real selection offered.Y’all, they have a BREAKFAST PIZZA and I promise it’s even better than you would imagine. Do you like breakfast? The burrata appetizer was perfectly executed for a place that isn't designated Italian, and the salad offerings really stood out. I had the ahi tuna and for $20 wish I had a couple more pieces of Ahi but the flavors and seasoning were fantastic. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. “Holbrook House is one of my preferred go to bar in the Financial District that has great service, drinks, tasty food and wonderful atmosphere. The atrium is big, open, well lite and spacious. In fact many times it will get booked for special events and when the weather is warm the open the large doors for more of an indoor / outdoor feel. The indoor bar itself once you pass through the atrium area is well designed long narrow oval shape that has seating all around. The chairs at the bar side are huge, like the captains chairs that requires some muscle to move. I giggle on how much effort it takes to move them. Holbrook House also has a martini cart that goes around and provides particular service to make you their special martini drink that is a nice flare the business offers. The food menu has been expanded since the opened and enough good choices that gives you a variety of choices. My favorite is their burger, that isn't too big but quite filling. If you haven't been to Holbrook House I suggest giving it a go. The crowd is a good professional crowd, where they can come dressed up and looking nice. I think you won't be disappointed.“

Great spirit, very attentive, warm service, great place - R&R, Rivera & Ruiz, you've made our family's favorite local Richmond breakfast and lunch (brunch) spot, we'll be back, often I'm sure (craving those fries already!).“

“I was a huge fan of Delirama, my absolute favorite sandwich was the Delirama Mama, so I was sad to hear the owner was going to pivot in a new direction. I prefer take out to dining in, so I waited for that to be an option, and put my order in today. I got a fried chicken sandwich and the pastrami Reuben, both with chips. The menu says a small salad is served with the sandwiches. The fried chicken sandwich is HUGE and delicious. I prefer my fried chicken to be a little on the dark side, which this was. I only wished there were more pickles, but that's because if I could subsist on pickles I would. The Reuben was the same as the Delirama one. My husband was bummed it was "so small," but that's because I used to get the biggest sandwich option and this one is the regular sized one.The chips were yummy, and still warm from the fryer by the time I got home. Or had just taken on some of the radiant heat from my sandwich. Either way, delightful. The salad is not small, it is quite generous in size. The dressing is a little sweet and a lot acidic, which I really enjoyed. My one complaint is that it was overdressed for me, but I prefer the minimum amount of dressing.I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was a bit dark inside for me.“

“We came here for a restaurant week reservation friday night at 7:30 PM. Parking wasn't too bad to find but it can be difficult since it's all street parking. The interior is extremely nice, definitely makes you feel like you are at a fancy restaurant (even though the attire is smart casual) We were seated immediately then the servers got us still water and took our orders for the drinks. We both didn't want to drink alcohol so we ordered some mocktails. I had the pineapple mocktail with coconut creamer and it was delicious. Amuse bouse: 5/5 This was house made potato chips with a smoked fish dip. The chips were nice and crunchy and the fish dip was exquisite, pleasantly salty with a good texture. Amazing Hamachi Crudo: 4/5 I like the foam around the fish and how it paired with the herb oil. Only complaints were on the mint and green almond toppings(too strong for me) and the hamachi tasted a bit fishy. Free bread: Halfway through we got a free loaf of bread and butter. Wasn't anything mind blowing but it tasted good and was welcomed. Steak: 4.5/5 The steak was cooked beautifully and the potatoes were made very well too. Only complaints were that the potatoes were too salty at some bites and i wish they had more sauce for the steak. Dessert: 5/5 I loved how the dessert all came together. It was presented very nicely, i liked the crisp of the meringue as well as the overall flavors meshing together. Accoutrements: Great way to end the night, our favorite was the chocolate bite. All in all, for 80 dollars this was a steal and service was quite good too.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Celebrated a birthday at Ceron Kitchen in Alameda, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! The atmosphere was wonderfully inviting, setting the perfect tone for our celebration.First up, the wedge salad was a refreshing delight, perfectly crisp and flavorful. But it was the lobster fettuccine that truly stole the show – every bite was a burst of exquisite flavors, leaving us craving for more.A special shoutout to the exceptional staff, particularly our bartender Robert, whose warmth and expertise enhanced our experience. Robert's recommendations for wine pairings were spot on, elevating each course to perfection.Overall, Ceron Kitchen exceeded our expectations in every way.
