Nice bar and really like the roof fan
In SF for a couple of days, went in because looked most acceptable bat in area. Great atmosphere, staff super friendly and manager a really nice guy. Didn’t go anywhere else during stay, loved everything about place… decor (painting of north east England heroine Grace Darling intrigued me being a geordie). Highly recommend bar!
Really enjoyed this place a few months back. Low key. Personable. Good service.

Comstock Saloon is a charming bar offering a variety of drinks, including creative craft cocktails. The friendly staff are happy to make recommendations, and the historic interior is quaint and cozy. The menu features delicious options, including gluten-free empanadas, steak frites, and bacon wrapped dates, with superb service from start to finish. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or catching up with friends, with live music several nights a week and great food to boot. It’s a great neighborhood hangout with an interesting history, preserved from its days as an old Jewish barbershop. On Fridays, two drinks come with a free light lunch like corn chowder. They also offer mocktails for non-drinkers, all at good prices.
