“We had a great time with my father celebrating his 85tg birthday! Iromar was a fantastic waiter and made our experience really wonderful! We would definitely do this again. The meat was very tender and flavorful, the wine selection was excellent, the service was impeccable and the desserts were very tasty. I highly recommend this to others who like this style of food.“

“My husband, me and our pup stopped in for a late lunch yesterday. We dined on Sipeos lovely patio. We shared a mezze plate and the tofu burger. We choose the roasted red pepper romesco sauce and the charred eggplant for our mezze platter. Both dips were amazingly delicious. The grilled tofu burger was excellent. The food, service and drinks at Sipeos are superb. There are no shortages of fabulous restaurants in downtown Walnut Creek but this one is at the top of our list as a favorite and we will be returning over and over again. Highly recommend it.“

“Nice atmosphere but very busy. Food at most was mediocre and Luis our server was the best in addition to being attentive.
Black Cod was okay, my husband enjoyed it. The cod was cooked perfectly and the potato cake had just enough crunch on the outside nice and moist on the inside. Beautiful dish 🙂
Waygu beef va de vi burger was “okay” the brioche bun that it was served on was saturated with butter and it wasn’t the freshest as it crumbled when I cut it in half.
Brussel sprouts were very good flavored with bacon, walnuts and lemon, absolutely delicious 🙂“

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

As someone who’s always jealous of the Indian food options in South Bay, I’m so grateful that I now have a go to option in the east bay! Variety of food was perfect, each dish was flavorful, the environment and service was relaxed, and the highlight was the naan (best naan I’ve ever had)! It’s only $20 as well!! I don’t think some of the past negative reviews are relevant anymore and I’ll certainly be back.“

“First time back in about 10 months. Felt a real improvement with service and food variety. The meats were good as usual and the pineapple and fried cheese w honey were favorites. Always have the rice and black beans. Those two are delicious and must have. We would've loved to see “millionaire bacon” or candied bacon at the food bar. Appreciated the service and how the meat servers asked if we'd like to request something that hasn't come by. Felt the overall service has improved a lot!“

The Posole Verde is the best I've ever had, Haurache Asada will out you into a joyous food coma, the Caldo Tlapeno is a go to anytime I need comfort food, and there are so much more here. (And the deserts are worth every calorie!)“

“Really solid dumpling spot in downtown Walnut Creek. Dumpling Hours has more of a casual, old-school local restaurant vibe, which I personally liked. It is not the kind of place that feels super fancy or overly polished, but that actually made it feel more authentic and comfortable to me.

The food was the best part. The xiao long bao were juicy and flavorful, and I really enjoyed the larger dumplings as well. They were filling without feeling too heavy, and they had that satisfying handmade dumpling texture. One dish that stood out more than I expected was the wood ear mushroom salad. It was fresh, light, and had a nice texture that balanced really well with the dumplings.

Service was pretty typical for a busy dim sum-style restaurant: straightforward, quick, and not overly chatty, but totally fine for the type of place it is. I actually don’t mind that when the food comes out hot and the meal moves smoothly.

Overall, I liked the local feel of the restaurant and would definitely come back when I’m in the mood for xiao long bao and dumplings. It is a nice option to have in Walnut Creek, especially if you want something casual, comforting, and different from the usual downtown restaurant choices.“
