“Very good food that is a favorite of family members originally from India. Highly recommended for smaller family or more intimate meetings. Friendly, genuinely caring staff! I'm not a drinker but was once, and the bar looks quite well stocked and with bartenders who are quick to smile. On the smaller side but nicely cozy inside. Some outside seating if you don't mind the visuals of the not overly busy parking lot (with meters, FYI), but which was *very* nice on a recent end-of-summer evening. I'm told they do a fair amount of take-out, but would never have realized it myself across several visits as it is well handled in ways inobtrusive on the dining experience.“

“This is a fabulous Thai Restaurant. You are greeted with a warm smile and then served really delicious food. I had curry puff balls followed by spicy prawns and bacon. Who doesn’t love prawns and bacon. The flavors were fabulous and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. I will be back for more for sure. Thank you. Five stars from me.“

I stopped by after a busy morning at work and it totally made my day. The sushi is always so fresh, the service is wonderful, and Sunny, the owner and her family, is the sweetest. You can really feel the love they put into the restaurant.

If you’re looking for a cozy neighborhood sushi place with consistently great food, definitely give Kiku a try. I’ll be back… probably very soon with more friends! ❤“

“I should have taken a picture, but I scarfed the burrito down so fast! I just wanted to rave about this place and their wonderful customer service. I came in and asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. I paid and then it occurred to me after to ask what kind of beans they use (I'm 7.5 months pregnant and for whatever reason, only like refried beans.... oh, pregnancy!). He said they only use whole beans. I tried to see if I could get something else for the same price I paid (which he was so nice about), but ultimately decided, "Oh well, I'll just stick with what I ordered!" I went to the bathroom and when I came out, he said, "We are making the beans refried for you now!" I thought that was so nice of them! It was so good too. Definitely recommend this place!!!“

“This place is hands down one of the best Chinese food I’ve had in CA. Taste and flavor is there and food is very fresh. I don’t understand why there’s bad reviews because it doesn’t reflect what I’ve had here. There’s just one guy serving tables here, so service can take a bit when they’re busy. But it’s worth it. Don’t miss out because you see a few bad reviews. In the Bay Area over all, most Chinese food tastes so watered down and lacks flavor. This place is great.“

“Best freaking poke spot ever I sometimes drive out thirty minutes just for this place... I LOVE THEIR MARINATED MUSHROOMS SO MUCH. I dreamt about a bowl from here once too... The pricing is great compared to poke spots around my area and they are generous with their portions, not to mention the quality of the food is amazing! Staff is really kind as well :)“

“When I was new in my profession, I interned in the Acalane's school district, and ate here a lot because it was nearby. We used to have some staff, but now he's doing it all on his own. The chips are really good and the lime cilantro steak is always my go to. It's this humble establishment, but I really appreciate that nearly every time I come.He does something like offer me a free soda. Just because. Very kind guy that seems to appreciate his clientele.“

“Food was delicious! I had a crab cake Benedict and pastor Benedict. Both were very good, but the pastor was a standout. I want to go back and order more! We sat outside in the alley, which was lovely. No traffic noise. Service was friendly and not too slow. My cousin ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was bacon gravy, not sausage, which none of us cared for. The biscuits were delicious though!“

“The food was solid. I got the Sunnyside burger with Pepperjack and fries. Both were prepared well. The grilled onions were all on one side of the burger making it lop sided and shooting them out of the back. The seating area had remnants from patrons that were no longer there. The ketchup dispenser was out near the register causing it to shoot all over my pants and shirt. 🤷🏻‍♂️. All in all the food was worth the money.“

“I just moved to the area and a bunch of people recommended the coffee cake here, and I completely understand why. It was incredible! It was served warm, soft, and not overly sweet. Also, the owner started chatting with us and was really nice. He ended up not charging us for our coffee cakes and lattes so we could pay it forward. That made our entire day. It’s so rare to find a coffee shop where the owner interacts with and truly cares about customers. I understand why this place is a favourite amongst locals. I will definitely be returning!“

“There’s already so many things in this area that a restaurant is a perfect add-on just to end your night. My friends and I all went and split two appetizers and all had our own main courses. We learned a few things like you could split your meal with someone and they will bring it out in two separate plates, which was super helpful. Our surface name was Matt and he showed us. He’s adorable grandchild, he was so personable. It was really nice to have such a relaxing experience after an extremely busy day.“
