The sushi is by far the best in the East Bay. Most importantly I trust the freshness of all the fish. Over several years we have ordered almost every sushi roll on the menu. I have loved each. One of my favorites is Dragon roll and theirs is the best I have had. I have ordered take out and it is just as good as eating in. All the vegetables used are fresh and the broccoli tempura gives broccoli a good name. All the tempura vegetables are fresh. My husband loves the bento box too....read full review
I have always had good sushi here. Fresh and decent portions. Expensive. The spider roll is solid, no imitation crab or filler. I love Ebisu in the inner sunset and for the far east bay, this is the closest to it that I have found.

I wasn't going to write a review of this spot in the layfayette shopping center but no way this is a 3.9. It is much better than that. Sushi here was very good, so was service. Don't listen to the haters!
