I have never been disappointed in Metro. The quality of the food is excellent. But the service is the real champion. They offer suggestions and personal recommendations, when asked.
We LOVE Metro Lafayette. The best oysters and tuna tartare. The most attentive staff. Kid friendly. Fresh air patio in the back and a parking lot that makes this such an easy yes compared to trying to find a spot for other restaurants along Mt Diablo Blvd. Cat, the manager, has high standards and a warm heart. Our favorite family spot.
This was the first time I can ever recall having inattentive service. Had to ask for straws three times, condiments came after the entrees. Maybe she was having an off day, didn't seem to want to be there.
