“Blossom and Root is a sunny and uplifting dining experience.Staff are extremely friendly and organized as a team. They all worked together to make sure each table was taken care of properly. Joe our server, expertly paced out our meal, allowing us to savor each bite. To drink, we began with The Mermaid, the Chai Espresso Martini along with Crispy Rice & Mushroom Lettuce Cups. My husband said that the first course was 500 times better than he thought it was going to be. The drinks are creative, playful, and delicious. Our lettuce cups with the killer au jus had simple flavors that danced together brilliantly. It lit up our appetite and curiosity. We were ready to try more from the menu.Next, we shared a bowl of Mushroom Chowder along with the B&R Smash Burger accompanied with coleslaw. Too bad we were seated near people because we wanted to lick the plates clean. Again, everything was well thought out and executed. We appreciated how folks came to fill up our water without asking and never rushed us. Joe our server was very friendly and welcoming. For dessert, we went with Joe’s guidance and had the Chocolate S’more Mousse along with 2 cappuccinos. “We had a good meal here. The risotto was fabulous. I had soup and a side of shrimp that was good too. I do wish they had more salads to pick from. I have only eaten lunch here before and I do love their shrimp and grits. Drinks could be bigger. We went a little before the rush and it was still really loud. Not easy on the ears. It's very indicative of Danville Ca. A bit posh but not too much.“

“Falafel, Baba ganoush are real deals here!Falafel is so crispy and fluffy , moist at the same time. This is definitely some of the best falafel i’ve ever had in the states. Baba ghanoush has so smoky and roasted flavor to it. Love the way they authentically cook Middle eastern cusines! Multi layered spices(especially Tumeric) flavors come through in a nice way.“

“Expensive, but worth for a special occasion or occasional splurge. We sat the bar and had excellent service and the food we order was top notch. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. I had the ribeye while my buddy had the Japanese Waygu. We ordered some sides and desserts; those we delicious. Highly recommend and we will come back.“

“Pleasantly surprised! For whatever reason I had never tried Akira before. I'm so glad I finally have. I met up with a couple of friends and we enjoyed drinks and shared a bunch of sushi. There are lots of options on the menu and everything we tried was tasty and super fresh! We were chatting so much that we closed the place down. This might seem random, but I was so impressed by the extensive cleaning they did at the end of the night. This alone will have me frequenting Akira from now on.“

“I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years. Great service, friendly waitresses/waiter, nice and clean restaurant, authentic Thai food. Ordered tom kha chicken soup, chicken satay, pad see ew, green curry and Thai basil chicken. All tasted good. They even packed our leftovers at the end. If you love your food to be Thai spicy, let them know (request a 5 star spiciness). Definitely a great Thai restaurant to eat in San Ramon.“

“One of my new favorite spots! Very cute bakery with lots of dietary restriction friendly options. We came here on a Saturday morning and were able to get parking in the small lot in front. We were immediately greeted when we entered and saw so many delicious options! Everything from gluten free to dairy free to both. My absolute favorite is the chocolate cupcake. A very moist cake with creamy decadent frosting. All in all, very delicious and I can't wait to try more! As a side note, I appreciate that they don't let outside food in. This enables a very dietary friendly environment.“

“My wife and I sat at the bar as the place was packed. We were told it was reservations only at the moment, so the place is definitely popular on a Friday night. We ordered the street tacos and pozole. The pozole was delicious and hearty. The tacos were also tasty and filling. The pozole was so much better than the last time I had eaten here and commented this to our server. A new chef has brought more spice and discipline in the dishes being made which has resulted in delicious dishes. For dessert my wife and I had tres leches cake, churros and coffee. We did order the burger medium and it came medium well, no biggie for us. It was still tasty, loaded with flavor. The fried chicken sandwich was also good, crispy and not dry, yummy sauce. Truffle fries were fire as well. Crispy edges, soft middle, great taste. Our waiter was super friendly and a joy to talk to. The menu is large and features some unique dishes. The tangerine beef was a perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and crispy... almost like eating candy. “The best restaurant I've ever been to. We started by ordering four meals the chow mein, the fried wonton, wrappers, the orange chicken, and the Kung pow chicken. It was all delicious, and they gave an extra plate of wonton wrappers. the waitress was really kind and tried to take off 20% from our order but we kindly declined. The restaurant was very clean and they kept coming over to take trash. Overall, I highly recommend this one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.“

So without any hesitation they were my first thought for what we could serve to our staff for the in-service training today. “Have eaten at Cosina Hermanas maybe a dozen times. I always enjoyed their taco plates - a good variety of really good street food! The last 2 times there I ordered two versions of their pork belly. Gotta say, this is the absolute BEST Chicharron Ahumado I've ever had... the spices and technique make these dishes off the charts. “Came here for the first time with my husband and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish! It was very fresh and sashimi portions were large and nigiri well made. The restaurant is really small and seems family owned and the chef and staff are all very nice and welcoming. Food was definitely authentic Japanese and the sushi/sashimi is worth the quality you are getting. I will definitely be back to try other items on their menu. “We will never go on a Friday or weekend. Parents bring their unbehaved children screaming etc. No fault of the restaurant, it is the new generation parents.
