“I recently visited Crush’d and had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
The cocktails are absolutely outstanding—creative, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The food is just as impressive, with every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into both the menu and the overall experience.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff particularly Casey consistently goes above and beyond to provide personalized attention, making each visit feel special. They remember preferences, offer thoughtful recommendations, and genuinely make you feel valued as a guest.
It’s rare to find a place that excels in every aspect—drinks, food, and service—but this wine bar does exactly that. I always look forward to coming back.”

“recently dined-in again and had a wonderful experience, their pizza is always delicious and super fresh and the customer service is superb even from the newer employee Sreya. AJ and Mohammed were super friendly as always, efficient and quick, and made my dinner a highly enjoyable experience!!”
“The food was amazing: fresh and tasty hummus, crispy fries, amazing gyros, and very clean inside. This place should get more patronage from Danville folks. Support your small businesses and enjoy!”

“A hidden gem. Was introduced to this quaint oasis by friends. Since then, it has become one of my favorite haunts. The owner is extremely courteous, very generous and hospitable. We started by going there for dinner but on one occasion wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday for lunch and needed and requested an extended and uninterrupted experience. So we were allowed to stay on beyond the 2:30 pm shut down before dinner in a very cosy and welcoming setting. The host was most attentive when needed but did not try to rush our ordering of lunch menu selections and even suggested to try some new dishes on the menu. I take all my special guests to the bungalow on rose for an exquisite dining experience.”
“Came here for a casual meal and watch some World Cup. Good options for game viewing inside and outside. Service was prompt and friendly. We tried a little bit of everything, a slice, salad, lasagna and meat balls and liked all of the items. I would definitely return and recommend to others.”

“Best super premium coffee beans in California, not just the Bay Area, not just Danville. Fresh, perfectly roasted, rare single origin beans. I religiously buy their Tanzanian peaberry and Panama Highlands Catuai. Can’t go anywhere else.
Plus Ida, the owner, is super nice. She remembers my wife and kids names and always gives us a free coffee when we buy the premium beans.
Highly recommend!”

“Had a lovely evening at The Barnyard! Service was the best and our server chose the most delicious wines for my custom wine flight. My friend had the sparkling flight and really enjoyed it. We shared an excellent charcuterie board and buratta. Will definitely return.”

“It wasn't busy yet and the service was a little slow but the food was good. I wanted it to be hotter. My seat was very dirty next to me and that bothered me. And then they had live music setting up next to our table, it was a little awkward. Pretty good. Could do better.”

“My boyfriend and I always come here when we’re craving for something delicious and healthy. I order the same thing every time because it’s so good. 😅 The Salmon with Quinoa is my favorite! I should try something else next time because my bf have tried a few different ones and he always end up liking it. I also love the chocolate chip cookie! Wish they sell a pack of 12 😂”

“Friendly, attentive service. Perfect fish and chips, (crunchy batter, soft, moist fish, un-soggy fries), paired great with a double IPA. Cobb salad was loaded, and very fresh. Iron Horse Trail proximity gives biking and walking options, but there's plenty of off-street car parking.”
“I have now been to this location at least 5 times. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere cheerful, with enough seating both inside and out. I like that they have self-serve water. I keep wanting to try something new -- they have lots of options -- but every time I order the avocado smash toast, I am always so satisfied and delighted that I can't bring myself to order something else! The avocado is ALWAYS fresh and never past its prime. That must be hard to do. I appreciate their quality assurance. (I can recall from other restaurants or sandwich shops the disappointment of paying extra for avocado but getting fruit that has that weird/bad taste of old avocados.) The smash has these scrumptious little marinated cherry tomatoes and microgreens and the tiniest hint of heat from a little chili oil. Yum. A feast the the eyes, too. Toastique in Danville is a great place to have a leisurely breakfast with a friend or a post-workout snack. I also want to given a shout out to the owner who was working on June 2 for the Danville Restaurant Walk. Thank you for being so friendly and generous!”

“As a person with celiac’s disease and other food allergies I appreciate that bread is only served if requested. I had the filet and it was great. The staff is knowledgeable about food allergies and cross contamination. We will be adding this restaurant to the small list of places that are allergy friendly in the bay area.”
“Last Friday evening our party of 8 celebrated a warm and jubilant birthday, early Father’s Day party. From our arrival to our leaving the entire staff greeted us like family. All of our appetizers, Sushi-Rolls, were delicious! We all loved our Entrees-our seafood was expertly prepared!
Blue Sakana is “Our Special Place”…”
“We got there in time for Happy Hour. The service was outstanding. Our server named Lumbi was attentive, super nice and took care of my family (plus our dog) so well. She brought out our food quickly, drinks refills quickly and our food came out flawlessly.
The prices compared to Irvine (where we are from) is very affordable!! The fish was fresh and the avocado roll was to die for. Not traditional sushi, it’s quite westernized so if that’s your style you’ll be happy. Solid locals spot!”
“Excellent food all seasoned and cooked to perfection. Black cod, cioppino, ribeye, crab cakes, and scallop risotto is what the table had. Excellent wine selection, great desserts and drinks. Minus one star because the cushions on the chairs at our table were too soft and sunk you too far below the table for good comfort.”
“We had dinner here last night and truly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. What made our visit even better was the excellent service — everyone was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. It is not easy to find a place with both great food and such warm hospitality. We will definitely come back again. Highly recommended

“Very good Chinese food, drinks, service. Probably the best fried rice I have ever had. Portions are large. Prices are high but about what you would expect in Danville.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Located in a small strip mall with plenty of free parking, East Bay Bakery is a zero-friction stop.
Arrived in the early morning to find a pristine, complete selection arranged across two small display cases. The operational care here is obvious—warm items were securely packaged completely separate from the cold pastries per my request, preserving the structural integrity of the crusts.
The technical breakdown:
Traditional Croissant: Stunning work and an absolute lesson in volume. It features a striking, bi-texture design on the exterior rings where the ultra-glossy, deeply bronzed egg-wash finish splits open along the ridge lines during baking, creating a beautiful shattered-lace effect that highlights the perfect expansion of the lamination layers. The interior cuts open to reveal a perfectly uniform, highly aerated honeycomb crumb.
The Croffle: A flawless hybrid execution. It presses a highly laminated pastry dough into a crisp waffle matrix, catching a beautiful golden glaze across the ridge peaks while maintaining an incredibly flaky internal crumb crunch.
.
Almond Croissant: Excellent geometry. It avoids the typical flat, greasy sink you see at other bakeries, balancing a shatter-crisp exterior shell with a thick, beautifully even layer of rich frangipane cream at the baseline.
Kouign-Amann: Phenomenal structure. It achieves a massive, vertical rise with a beautifully crisp, deeply caramelized outer sugar glaze, while the cross-section reveals an incredibly rich, stratified interior layer structure with a perfect chewiness.
Sausage Roll: A heavy-duty savory asset. The puff pastry crust is baked to a deep golden bronze, wrapping tightly around a dense, nicely seasoned, and robust meat core.
Turkey Cheese Croissant: Visually spectacular and aggressive. It commands attention with a massive, crispy baked cheddar cheese skirt bubbling out at the base and an expansive internal steam pocket packed with folded turkey.
Fruit Danish: The sweet pastry hits every mark. It sets a razor-sharp, yeast-leavened laminated viennoiserie frame around a velvety smooth yellow custard, topped with a glistening row of dark baked fruit and a light dusting of powdered sugar.
This is exceptional craftsmanship that actually delivers on its structural potential. Tasted phenomenal for breakfast and sets the definitive standard for the East Bay. Highly recommended.”
“Just had a GREAT experience at Melo’s today! We had a large group (24+) where we pre-ordered pizza and salads. They set us up in an area perfect for our group. Our food was set up on one table…buffet style…and we had plenty of tables to sit and eat. Highly recommend Melo’s pizza and pasta in Danville!”
“I ordered the spicy pork lunch set here. The side dishes were tasty, and the set itself was well put together. It came with japchae, which was well-seasoned and had a nice variety of ingredients. The rice portion was slightly small, but honestly, the side dishes and japchae were enough to feel full. The amount of spicy pork was also generous.
The only downside was the noise from the fitness center upstairs—it sounded like dumbbells being dropped on the floor. It didn’t really affect my meal, but it might be stressful for the owner or staff. The server was very kind and friendly.”
“i absolutely love this place! amazing menu, gluten free baked goods. everything is delicious! Also there is dining available outside as well as inside, so if you have a furry Good boy or girl, they don't have to get left behind. I get their Spring Omelet with gluten free English muffin and fruit. oh so good!”
“the fish was incredibly fresh, and the seasoning was perfect. Talking with the new chef, I learned how to bring out more layers of flavor and texture in different parts of the fish through seasoning. He was very talkative, and I will definitely bring my family here for dinner again.”
“Enjoy coming to yogurt shack in the heart of Danville. Great variety of yogurt flavors and toppings. The owners staff with mostly high school youth. Looks like an excellent first job and the kids seem to not only enjoy working there but are very friendly and helpful. I love that it is conveniently located next to primos. It's a great after dinner treat.”
“Recommend! That said, it is FOOTBALL SUNDAY 🏈 and your taps are DRY for HenHouse, Altamount Maui, and SpaceDust? Come on boys!!! Pass for today but will be back!!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Don't drink, so I ordered a diet Soda. The bartender warned me that he didn't know who's diet it was but that it wasn't that good. He was being nice to what ever it was I had. Disgusting,Horrible diet soda. Everything else was great. Except a Niners glass....Probably because of my Seahawks Shirt.”
“I had ordered Tals Sufganiyot for Hannukuh today, but ended up having to call and cancel because I was in a car accident on the way so couldn’t make it in time for their closing. They were kind enough to come have one of their team members hand deliver it to our house. Such a kind act on an otherwise bad day that you just don’t see businesses do anymore. And, not to mention, it was delicious!! Thank you for your Hospitality and we’ll be back soon ❤️”

“I am a doordasher and I dash a lot of these sandwiches to a great many people from their reviews and watching the people making the sandwich pulled the trigger I had to find out I am well pleased and thrilled to report all is well if you don't know you might want to try 😋😍☺️”

“Bagels are not the chewy type, they are much fluffier and delicious.
But the Dutch Crunch is not good. It looks great but it is extremely sweet and too soft, to the extent that is not bread anymore. Taste like dessert to me. too soft for a bread (tears easily), too sweet for a bread and lacks the signature crunch you expect.”
“I really like this store, it’s unfortunate the staff is so small now. I see one person here doing the job of two to three people whereas other stores have greater staff where that’s not needed. I’m curious why they stay or don’t move locations, as I see it being so stressful for them at times.Regardless, what I love most about it is regardless of the work conditions or severe understaffing, they always are very nice, respectful, and fast.
Parking: Parking is shared among other businesses in the strip mall, normally plentiful
Kid-friendliness: Baristas are nice to all.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or elevations.”
“I really enjoy visiting this Panda Express location in Danville, CA. The environment is clean, welcoming, and well maintained.
Eva, in particular, is exceptional—she is always friendly, smiling, and highly professional in the way she takes care of customers.
Every time I visit this location, I leave with a positive experience. Thank you to the entire Panda Express team. Your employees are truly valuable assets, and you should be proud of every single one of them.
I hope the team receives recognition, even if it’s a simple thank-you email or phone call, because they genuinely deserve it.
Thank you,
Faisal

“Had the banh mi with grilled pork, and a Thai ice tea. The sandwich was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. It was the perfect size, at a good price. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. Since it's only 100 ft from the iron horse trail, it's a great place to stop for a break on a longer ride or walk. Added bonus is the bike rack in viewing distance from the cafe.”
“We recently hosted a large high school team banquet here and could not have had a better experience. Our original location fell through somewhat last minute, and John accommodated our group with very little notice. The morning of our event, our game time changed and he worked with us to adjust everything.
The venue itself is beautiful, the food and beer were delicious, and everything came out quickly despite the size of our group. We especially appreciated the ordering technology, which made it super easy for families to keep their bills separate without any confusion.
Lauren and the rest of the staff took amazing care of us throughout the event and made everyone feel welcome. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and highly recommend this spot for large groups, team events, or just a great meal and atmosphere!”
