Our favorites are Egg Rolls, Won Ton Soup, Sweet and Sour Pork, Broccoli Beef, Cashew Nut Chicken, Mu Shu Chicken, And Combination Chow Mein. The portions are large; we usually take some food home. Service is excellent. The restaurant is very clean and bright.

“Really solid dumpling spot in downtown Walnut Creek. Dumpling Hours has more of a casual, old-school local restaurant vibe, which I personally liked. It is not the kind of place that feels super fancy or overly polished, but that actually made it feel more authentic and comfortable to me.

The food was the best part. The xiao long bao were juicy and flavorful, and I really enjoyed the larger dumplings as well. They were filling without feeling too heavy, and they had that satisfying handmade dumpling texture. One dish that stood out more than I expected was the wood ear mushroom salad. It was fresh, light, and had a nice texture that balanced really well with the dumplings.

Service was pretty typical for a busy dim sum-style restaurant: straightforward, quick, and not overly chatty, but totally fine for the type of place it is. I actually don’t mind that when the food comes out hot and the meal moves smoothly.

My Mom is visiting from Montreal and I knew we had to bring her to Lulu's. everything we ate was incredible. The homemade butter bread,the bouillabaisse, surf and turf wagyu tortellini in a lobster sauce. A fun twist for us were the chips in the appetizer selection served with Maytag and short ribs reminded us of a poutine style dish. “I had a craving for a good old fashioned Chinese lunch special. You know the ones that include maybe some soup if you're lucky rice and one entree. I saw this place when I had a few minutes to myself. I went in and ordered not expecting much but it was absolutely delicious! The soup was hot and sour soup which is one of my favorites. It was incredibly well done and then I had kung pao shrimp with stir fried rice. The rice was okay. Nothing special but my God the kung pao shrimp? The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were crisp tender and the sauce was spicy enough to catch your attention without burning out your stomach or your throat“

Turned out we had too many food and people didn’t come. So I called ten minutes before 3pm, asking to hold off two party trays. Although they prepared the ingredients already, the noodle and veggies were not cooked yet. I picked up the roasted duck on that Sunday only. “Best authentic Cantonese dim sum in the CoCo county area! I grew up with dim sum in SF at least once a week with my grandpa and it reminds me of him every time we go. Creek House is family owned and the owners are still working every day, passing down the tradition to their daughter who runs most of the operations. Their baos are super soft and tops are perfectly toasted. Their dim sum and Cantonese dishes are cooked perfectly without being saturated in oil. The bbq pork baos are my absolute favorite and that's coming from the daughter of one of the most well known bakeries in SF (Red A Bakery, since sold when my parents retired). I love this spot because it reminds me of the good ole days :) oh and they serve dim sum at night!!!! BEST THING EVERRRRR“
