I have been driving past Shangrila for over 20 years and never ate here. We decided to change that today and ordered "to go" through Yelp. It was quite a hefty meal with 6 dishes - broccoli beef, bok choy and mushrooms, chow mein pad thai, sweet and sour fish and honey walnut prawns - all for just under $100. I think this place may have transferred through several different owners in the last 10 years. Some dishes have been consistent while others have not. We used to love a tofu dish here until one day we ordered it and came out as a totally different dish from what we were familiar with. Thankfully my favorite dish from here has remained unchanged. As I write this I am so full I can barely move!! I ordered the Mongolian beef dinner special, it's enough for two full lunches! I read someone said the food was bland ?? I actually found it cooked perfect without a lot of oil and salt, great fresh taste! I loved that the noodles and beef were not overcompensated with a ton of veggies, I thought the balance was great.
