As I write this I am so full I can barely move!! I ordered the Mongolian beef dinner special, it's enough for two full lunches! I read someone said the food was bland ?? I actually found it cooked perfect without a lot of oil and salt, great fresh taste! I loved that the noodles and beef were not overcompensated with a ton of veggies, I thought the balance was great. I ordered over the phone to go, very good service. The restaurant looked so inviting that I will dine in next time. Would recommend with a 5 star review.

I have been driving past Shangrila for over 20 years and never ate here. We decided to change that today and ordered "to go" through Yelp. It was quite a hefty meal with 6 dishes - broccoli beef, bok choy and mushrooms, chow mein pad thai, sweet and sour fish and honey walnut prawns - all for just under $100. We fed a family of 4 adults and still have leftovers! Everything was pretty good. All of the "saucy" items had plenty of sauce to keep the food moist and mix in with your rice. My favorite was the fish fillet. The pieces of fish were pretty big and very tender. The honey walnut prawns were a little different from what I am used to - they were a bit crunchy. Probably that was a sugar glaze or something but it's not what I'm used to eating. My least favorite was the pad thai. These were thin rice noodles which appeared to crack while being cooked, so they were basically small pieces of noodles. That being said, it's a Chinese restaurant and not a thai restaurant, so I guess my expectations should have been set differently. I'm glad we finally ate here. This will be on our list!

Oh my! I feel like I should stick to what I know! I ordered Basil Prawn. Thinking of something healthy. Well to my surprise, the waiter decided to change my order to chicken. I sent it back. What I was not expecting was it being covered in sweet and sour sauce. And the price changed for dining in. Have to remember to ask more questions about how it's prepared. Now I have to run to the toilet!

I've been going here for many many years and have had decent service. Today I went and the server ( older man, bald) took our order. I clearly ordered a braised beef lunch. They brought out a fried sesame beef. When we brought this up to the other younger server, he asked the original server to come talk to us. We asked him if this is braised beef and he said yes which is complete b.s.. Since when is "braised" deep fried? He screwed up but he didn't want to bring the dish back and make it right. I did not make a big deal out of it since my kids were hungry so we kept the dish. Really really disappointed they would try to save a few dollars and try to fix an order that they screwed up on. I will never come here again nor will ever recommend my company, coworkers, friends and family to come here. I will also be filing a credit card dispute. This is just not right. Extremely disappointed at this place, and in particular, the older bald Asian server.

I think this place may have transferred through several different owners in the last 10 years. Some dishes have been consistent while others have not. We used to love a tofu dish here until one day we ordered it and came out as a totally different dish from what we were familiar with. Thankfully my favorite dish from here has remained unchanged. The General Tso's chicken! The chicken pieces are lathered in just enough sauce to still keep them crispy. I usually get the lunch special and the portions are fairly generous. Honestly it is enough food for 2 but I still eat all of it by myself! You can call ahead to order or just walk in for pickup orders. Dine in is also an option. In my experience they wait for most of the orders to get cooked so the food all comes out around the same time for everyone. They are pretty fast but call ahead if you are ordering to go and in a rush.

Love this place. It's been around since I was in high school so I'm happy they're still here. Great Chinese food the chefs here are LEGIT.

My son and I dined here recently on a Friday night. We arrived a little after 8pm to dine inside. For the next hour there were three other tables dining and lots of to go orders being called in and picked up. The service was very friendly and the food came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The portions were a good size. We had Beef Chow Fun, Garlic Spinach, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. The shrimp were big and plump. My son loved the dish. The chow fun was really good and even better with their hot chili sauce. The spinach had good flavor too.

I did not like this place the first time i tried it. I ordered a string bean chicken dinner special and didn't like it. Everything was under-seasoned in my opinion. I was craving chinese on a Tuesday when my usual place (New Moon) was closed. I decided to give this place another try based on the price point and the rave reviews. This experience was way better. The food was good. This time i ordered 2 dinner specials with Mongolian beef & general tso's chicken. Both were freshly prepared and yummy. The chow mein was meh, overcooked noodles and not very much flavor but when eaten all together it works. I would order from here again, glad i gave them another try.

Good oily food, large portions, and spacious venue. Got exactly what I expected from this Chinese Restaurant, with quick service to boot.I came for a takeout lunch on Wednesday. There were 3 groups dining in and 4 folks waiting on the side. It's fairly busy, but there are still plenty of seats.I liked that there was someone at the counter at all times managing in-coming guests. This place is likely better for dining in since there are no holes for ventilation in your takeout box so the food will get soggy quickly.Would come again and possibly try dining in.Parking: Lots of parking on the sides of the restaurant.

Food was good. Service was fast. Ambiance was good too. Except the conversation that the people were having behind me. Sounded boring
