“A solid 4.5 stars. Normally, we do take out from Imperial Palace; but, we have dined in too. The two female servers are very efficient, polite, and quick. My husband eats here more than me. He absolutely loves it here. His favorite dish is the rib eye steak with mushrooms. As long as they continue to be fair with their portions; he'll be a lifer here. Lol. Last time, I ordered the beef tomato/tomato beef. Of course, the hubz had to help himself to my food too. Smh. When he does that, he loves the food. IMO it's rude (lol); but, when we find a solid place in San Ramon; I'll take it. The restaurant is always busy when we walk in and you can see that they have their regulars here. The ambiance isn't anything fancy; but, that is fine with me as long as the food tastes 'ono, portions are on point, and service is decent. I still get a kick when I saw the green beans on the table. That's straight old school in my book. I loved that.“
“This is my first time trying food from here. I ordered from this place specifically for the duck. I was looking around the area for a chinese place that offers a good roasted duck. I chose this place because the pictures looked good and there was no complaints from customers about skimpy portions like other places. The prices are also very affordable which is great considering Chinese food is usually ordered & served family style. It's pretty ridiculous that some restaurants charge around $15-20 per dish even for rice & noodles. Now for the food: Wonton soup- ($10.25) Very light & clean soup. Lots of veggies. Fresh wontons. Arrived hot. 5/5 Roasted duck half- ($14.35) Generous portion. Not dry or old tasting. Extremely satisfied. 5/5 Combo chow fun- ($13.99) Flavor was good. Good ratio of meat, noodles and veggies. Tad bit oily. Noodles were clumped together, i separated most of them by hand. (4/5) Overall i am very satisfied with the food. I will be adding this restaurant to my favorites. I would love if they added a roasted duck rice plate to their doordash menu. White rice with the duck drippings & steamed bok choy.“

“Ordered to go from here for the first time a week ago. Got some of the staples, and the food was definitely better than average as far as to go goes. The restaurant was very authentic and the staff were friendly, great ambiance and I regretted not just going there to dine.“

“Food here is great! Love the Hula Work BBQ meal I ordered. Serving is huge, fulfilling. Authentic Cantonese flavor and service is fast. Enjoyed hearing the chef while he is cooking in the kitchen, brings back memories of some restaurants in Chinatown. Place is also nice and cozy. Good for family or group of friends dining in. “Food is great. We ordered take out Kung Pao Tofu, Mapo Tofu, Triple mushroom, Veggie chow mein and egg fried rice. Kung Pao Tofu is absolutely one of the best in our area. Highly recommend it and order it spicy. Veggie Chowmein is also delicious. Service is good and food was packed well and ready within few minutes of the order .“
“Ivy is a great cook and great support for our parties. She is always willing to help, provides suggestions, she just gets things done with no supervision at all. You just tell her what you need once, and she makes good notes, and she will just get it done. We have hired her service twice, and planning to hire her for a lot more in the future.
