“I’ve been going here since it’s close to my workplace. The lady who works here speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese and I enjoy our conversations each time. The food comes out FAST (like 10-15 minutes) even when there were two or three other groups. We have ordered almost everything on the menu. Favorites are salt and pepper chicken wings, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, house fried rice, wonton soup, and sweet and sour pork.“

“While running an errand at my local auto parts store, I discovered a cozy restaurant nearby that caught my attention. Curious about what they had to offer, I decided to try some of their food.

I ordered shrimp fried rice, which was delicious with perfectly cooked rice, tasty shrimp, I also tried the typhoon prawns, which were crispy and packed with flavor, making them a standout dish. To round off my meal, I enjoyed two spam musubis, which were well-prepared with a nice balance of seasoned rice and savory spam.

The food was truly enjoyable, and I was pleased with the variety available, featuring both Hawaiian BBQ and Chinese cuisine. The owner was incredibly friendly and added a personal touch to my experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.“

“Very good food we got 3 plates. The place gets busy from my first time going there but the problem is when you go pay for the food i wish it was a bit faster it could also be a bit more clean or with more drink options other than that i’d recommend“

The order was delivered in a timely manner and the food was fresh and impressively packaged for delivery. Harry took my order and was extremely pleasant over the phone, he was patient with me and offered good recommendations. The delivery guy was friendly and courteous. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and look forward to dining in the next time I’m in the area.“

“Our go-to local Chinese fast food spot. The workers are always very friendly and the food is consistent. The best part is that they really pack the food in, you get a ton of value for what you pay for. Unlike other places like Panda, which cheaps out on quantity. The food here is legit, try the bbq pork, bbq chicken, kung pao chicken, and orange chicken. Very good food for the price.“

“My long time place for delicious chinese food. The dumplings are good: try the lamb with zuccini and chicken with spinich for a real treat. The dim sum is the best in the Hayward area. Oustanding dishes are: cucumber with garlic and fungus, salt and pepper chicken wings, tender vegetables with filet fish, string beans with chicken, Egg Foo Young (unbeliably great), walnut prawns, won ton soup, knife cut chow mein with mixed meat and shrimp. All portions are large and properly packaged. I only do delivery orders with BEYOND MENU who favors local businesses so I have no rating for servive or atmosphere. This place is a find!“

“I really enjoy the food at, Asian Wok. My family and I live about 10-20 minutes away but we make the drive because the service is great, the owner is really nice with kids. She gave my little sister some candy. The food is amazing! They always make sure to fill up our plate. Highly recommend 100%“

“Lai Young has hands down the tastiest dumplings my family has eaten in the Bay Area. Prices are very reasonable, quality is constantly great, well balance in flavor and good texture of wrapper. This is the only place we go to pick up a couple bags of frozen dumplings when we crave hometown flavors.“

“My God, their HONEY WALNUT CHICKEN is ridiculously delicious! I always ask for it extra crispy with the sauce on the side (so it doesn't get soggy) and extra sauce. It's like honey walnut shrimp but with chicken. I also get the beef chow mein mmmmm so yummy!! It's a little bit pricey but so worth it! If anyone ever wants to get me a gift for whatever occasion... “It is so great to find that hayward finally has some good Chinese bbq! I no longer have to drive far when I crave for some roasted duck! And that was exactly what I ordered today. It is fresh with good flavor. You know it’s a legit Chinese roasted duck when you can taste the star anise! I will definitely return to try the other items! Pro tip - parking can be terrible, so just go further down the lot towards auto zone. There’s always plenty of parking there.“
