“Had a great dining experience at Hao Kee in Castro Valley! The food was authentic, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the BBQ meats, crispy fried chicken, and the Hainan chicken — everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and the menu offered a wide variety of traditional Cantonese dishes.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even during busy hours. If you’re looking for delicious Chinese comfort food and excellent BBQ specialties, Hao Kee is definitely worth a visit. We will be coming back to try more dishes!

We were surprised with not only an amazing selection, but extremely welcoming, owner and servers, and the food! The food was incredible. They do not cater to American taste. This is the real thing. “I came to Castro Valley from my home in the Central Valley to visit family.and stopped here. You can’t go wrong with Panda. I went yesterday to get my favorite honey walnut shrimp which was delicious. The place was clean and the staff was friendly.“

“Idk what the bad reviews are talking about. Never had an issue. Food is good. I love the salt and pepper pork as well as the walnut shrimp. The staff can feel rushed but they’re always attentive and help as fast as possible, specially when it’s not as busy.“

I live in Newark. I drive about 30 minutes to get there but it's worth it. Every time I order something there it's always fresh. I've tried most of their items there, and everything is perfect. Staff is super nice and quick.“

They have a large selection of pastries and dim sum but it really depends on what do they have when you are at front of the line. So it’s nice to have a general idea of what you want while in line since you may need to make quick decisions on getting alternatives lol.

“I thought about not writing this review because I don’t want yall to blow up my affordable Chinese food spot with amazing food. It’s hard to not want to gate keep this place.

Asia delight is a humble “point point” combo based Chinese food place. Think authentic Panda Express. Super affordable place where you can get a 2 item combo with chow mein/fried rice for $12.49. My go to is Chow mein, Chinese pork bbq, and the black pepper beef. This location appears to be the only one that carries the Chinese pork bbq.

On the side my wife and I split either the salt n pepper fish or chicken wings. A medium gets you about 6-8 pieces of chicken wings. Super solid and they don’t skimp on the amount on anything. So the value is there! Low key is enough to spread out into two meals.

Staff is direct and efficient. Quick with packing up your items and moving it to the cashiers for you to pay out. They have about 4-6 tables inside with chairs/slide in bench’s. Basically a quick spot to grab food and eat or take it to go.“

“As a family we’ve ordered superior Chinese food from Nanking even before it was NanKing when it was Uncle Wu’s. Never disappointed until tonight. All food we received was cold even the rice. Little flavor as well. Very cold making the special evening not enjoyable and we live one mile from them.“

The only negative is that the ribs in the pot we ordered were very chewy and the sliced meats in the porridge were also chewy. The order was delivered in a timely manner and the food was fresh and impressively packaged for delivery. Harry took my order and was extremely pleasant over the phone, he was patient with me and offered good recommendations. The delivery guy was friendly and courteous. “My personal favorite dish is their House special pan fried noodles. The portion of this was insane, this itself can feed 4 people. Love the vegetables, squid, shrimp,…. on top of the noodles. The toppings are cooked with this slightly thick sauce which drenches the fried noodle making it some parts of it crunchy and some of it soft/soggy. I grew up eating this dish and so I’m almost always ordering this dish.

My second favorite dish is their honey walnut shrimp. This is always a hit at every family dinner I have and so I just had to order it. Their shrimp had a bite to it and a bouncy texture. It was cooked perfectly.
