“This is a long overdue review. I had a huge party at home in June. I ordered and paid three party trays for the party earlier of the day planning to pick up the food at 3pm. Turned out we had too many food and people didn’t come. So I called ten minutes before 3pm, asking to hold off two party trays. Although they prepared the ingredients already, the noodle and veggies were not cooked yet. I picked up the roasted duck on that Sunday only. I ended up picking up the other two trays on two separate days of the following week. I’m so grateful to them being so flexible and understanding. The staff was so kind. Food was delicious. This is my go-to place from then on for party trays.“

“This is an amazing find in Castro Valley! We went there because we needed a place to have lunch. We were surprised with not only an amazing selection, but extremely welcoming, owner and servers, and the food! The food was incredible. They do not cater to American taste. This is the real thing. The vegetables with tofu sauce were incredible as was the pork and everything else we had the dessert of tofu with mantis or ginger is a must. Highly recommend!!“

“I came to Castro Valley from my home in the Central Valley to visit family.and stopped here. You can’t go wrong with Panda. I went yesterday to get my favorite honey walnut shrimp which was delicious. The place was clean and the staff was friendly.“

“Idk what the bad reviews are talking about. Never had an issue. Food is good. I love the salt and pepper pork as well as the walnut shrimp. The staff can feel rushed but they’re always attentive and help as fast as possible, specially when it’s not as busy.“

They serve the absolute best shrimp fried rice, Mongolian beef, spicy string beans, salt and pepper shrimp and fish, and duck that I have ever had. Go eat there. You won’t be sorry.“

“The hype is real...the fish sandwich. The chicken sandwich is good too. The breading is nice and good quantity of fish / meat. Got there an hour before they closed and they were still bringing out more fish sandwiches. When i got there, there was maybe 8 people ahead of me but when i left, there was about 15 people deep. I got a few other items like the pork bun, cocktail bun, and pineapple bun. Didnt try yet so cant review those.“

“Ly-Luck is a treasure! The won ton soup was delicate and flavorful and the egg rolls were incredibly crispy. The order was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. The host was friendly and threw in plenty of sauces. Large portions great for a family. A real gem!“

“I dont like to give small businesses a hard time, the food was amazing the only issue i have is the consistency of their hot and hour soup, ITS EXTREMELY THICK, I've been to house of dumplings and hong Kong city restaurant in the area, this is thr first time encountering soup being served like this. I hope I can either get a refund on the item or an exchange. None the less everything else was great, just wish I didn't pay 11 bucks for this item“

“I thought about not writing this review because I don’t want yall to blow up my affordable Chinese food spot with amazing food. It’s hard to not want to gate keep this place.

Asia delight is a humble “point point” combo based Chinese food place. Think authentic Panda Express. Super affordable place where you can get a 2 item combo with chow mein/fried rice for $12.49. My go to is Chow mein, Chinese pork bbq, and the black pepper beef. This location appears to be the only one that carries the Chinese pork bbq.

On the side my wife and I split either the salt n pepper fish or chicken wings. A medium gets you about 6-8 pieces of chicken wings. Super solid and they don’t skimp on the amount on anything. So the value is there! Low key is enough to spread out into two meals.

Staff is direct and efficient. Quick with packing up your items and moving it to the cashiers for you to pay out. They have about 4-6 tables inside with chairs/slide in bench’s. Basically a quick spot to grab food and eat or take it to go.“

The three-item braised platter with pig feet, pork stomach, and pork tongue was the highlight—everything was flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned. The signature eel claypot rice was delicious, with fragrant rice, savory sauce, and crispy bits at the bottom. The mushroom chicken claypot rice was also tasty and a milder option.

If you’re dining with two people, ordering the large size is a better value and makes it easier to share. Just note that the vegetable dishes can be a little pricey—the garlic stir-fried choy sum was $16. Overall, a great East Bay spot for comforting Chinese claypot rice and braised dishes.“
