“This place has been my all-time favorite. It's 'all you can eat style' hot pot, with selection of individual small pot or large shared pot.Lunch after the tax is around 22, and dinner is around 35 per person. There is another vegetarian option as well.Drinks are self served and unlimited. You can order 4 kinds of meet at the beginning. Vegetables, mushrooms, and other items are self-serving.Usually, there is no time limit, but do expect 1 hour limit during busy hours.Few tips. If you order the same kind of meat twice when placing an order, they usually bring you only one plate. The most classic combinations are spicy marrow and original marrow. The seven star pepper beef soup is the best but will cost an extra 8 dollars.“
“Haven’t been able to come for a while and man, still delicious little nuggets of joy! Love these dumplings and the multilayer green onion pancake. Even my girls (7&9) loved the multilayer green onion pancake and the chicken and corn dumplings. They ate the whole dozen of them between them and a piece of the pancake each.I ordered the 3 flavor dumplings (pork shrimp and chives) and my mom got the fish and chives. The service was fine, though with only one person working the front she was super busy. We are patient though and got everything we ordered and ate while we were there at one of the 5 small tables.Ambiance isn’t amazing because it’s so small and a little cramped but the dumplings are definitely worth it. The multilayer pancake is delicious and crispy as well.I wish we lived closer but sadly I live in Knoxville so I can only come when I visit family. If you love dumplings, you need to visit the House of Dumplings. They sell frozen dumplings you can cook at home too.“
“A place you should try for sure!First of all. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food. But today I had just an amazing experience. Also you need to understand that it is not a franchise/fast food place. It is a family owned restaurant.Pros:- The amount of food is way more than I expected!( Huge portions of meat and side)- It is just my opinion but it seems like I find a perfect balance of spices!- Price is pretty good. Almost every combination dish between $12-22.- They serve lamb!- Wait time was about 15 min.- We ordered some crab pockets.... Tastes as a dessert, unusual but good!- Nice and polite people working there.-118 positions on menu without appetizers.Cons:- Seems like right now they are serving only to-go. No opinion for dine-in.When I try some new places I always take something familiar. Same was today. We tried Mongolian Beef (In my opinion one of the best dishes in the whole Chinese kitchen) and Kung-pao Chicken. It tastes so good! We will definitely visit you guys again. Really appreciate!“
“Small Group of hungry girls & we were Craving Chinese food. We wanted something close by & wanted to stop by another cafe in the area. Located in the Asian market complex, tucked away in the corner, near the Daiso. Lots of parking but always difficult to park in this shopping center. We ordered quite a few dishes with leftovers. Appetizers fried wontons, chicken. Mains- beef broccoli, shrimp & eggs, Chow mein, chicken fried rice. Food was good, hit the craving. Spent about $115 for 4 people. 2 sodas“
“Pictured below is the Sweet and Sour Tofu, Kung Pao Tofu, and Vegetable Chow Mein. Both tofu dishes were quite well, I really enjoyed the crispiness and flavor in the Kung Pao Tofu. My only con for this was I wish the Chow Mein had a bit more flavor. Other than that though the service here was great and they had my pickup order ready on time. There are actually a lot of vegetarian options here compared to most places which is great! They also have a refrigerated section you can buy your own tofu from, along with some other items.“
“Golden Bay Seafood Harbor (Guhm Hoy wahn in Cantonese) is a solid choice for those looking for a more upscale Chinese dining experience at a fairly reasonable price. This is a good restaurant.Part of a restaurant group, Golden Bay is located next to Marina Supermarket in Union City. We went there for dinner. For parties of 5 to 7 people, consider the "half portion" of the full set menu. I dont think it is advertised, you may have to ask.For about $250, you get a very nice seafood dinner, including ginger lobster, small abalone, steamed fish, prawns and scallops, seafood soup, and so on. Dinner included their cold appetizer plate and stir-fried beef with mushrooms. Even the fried rice had scallops in it. The only complaint was the steamed fish as it was quite fishy.Almost everything we had was well prepared, and portions were quite generous given what was being servedService was polite and low-key. They were not snobby or haughty, unlike at some other higher chinese restaurants. The atmosphere within the restaurant is relaxed. The space is large and quiet enough for conversation. It almost makes you want to linger, and that's how restaurants should beThere is plenty of parking and the parking spaces are wide.I recommend this restaurant. Consider going there with family or a small group of friendsParking: Spaces are wide“
“Making this review as I live in a different state because I’m craving it. I use to go here as a kid for years, but I moved to South Carolina 2 years ago. I miss it so much and I’d do anything to have their food again. Nothing out here or in neighboring states compares to the food at dragon house. I’m TIRED of these generic dishes and orange fried rice over here :(“
“This is a staple in Union City. Growing up in the area, this was one of the OG Chinese restaurants to dine in or take out. It's still here after all these years. I hadn't been for awhile, but as it turns out, the quality and taste is still the same. Some items are better than the other Chinese resto across the street at another plaza. The other place had become our default. But now that we've been back again, we will definitely be including HK resto back in our takeout rotation. Best dish there is there Peking Spare Ribs. Have been eating that dish since I was a kid and that recipe has not changed one bit. Thanks for keeping it consistent!“
“This is a solid 4 star restaurant. Clay pot rice is freshly made to order, really tasty. The place can get busy and it may take a while to get a table during dinner time. Once you sit down, the service is reasonably quick and quite friendly. Excellent comfort food especially for cold winter days.“
