“As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, the manager, Stacey, noticed it was my first time there without a reservation. She asked if my lunch was business-related, seeing me carrying a laptop. I confirmed it was quite important. Despite the busy lunch hours on a Sunday, she promptly found me a table within a minute. Stacey's professionalism and hospitality surpassed the ordinary; it was truly extraordinary! The food and ambiance were also fantastic! Overall, it was a fantastic experience—one of the most memorable moments in my life. Thank you very much, Stacey!“
“I think this place is very nice and welcoming. The food was amazing as well. There is nothing I would say is bad about this place. My mom brought me here as like a mother daughter date and I think it was a great choice. I see a lot of families eating here and celebrating. The service was great.Kid-friendliness: There are many kids that I have seen here.“
“Great little place for Taiwanese food in Palo Alto. Service was great and atmosphere is simple, but fine. Best, however, is the food. I had the Taiwanese sausage fried rice, which was quite solid, and the Salt & Pepper pork chops, which were amazing! The best I've had outside of China. Prices are reasonable as well and they have those jumbo bottles of Taiwan beer. Glad I tried this place.“
“It's easy to get walnut shrimp right. It's sweet, and nothing too fancy to get too wonky. But chow fun is definitely a different animal. Add prawns into that and it has the possibility of everything going sideways. This restaurant though had both of those dishes down pat. Even the Rangoon is better than I've had at most places. Honestly a super good meal, well priced, and good portion sizes. The BBQ bun did seem a bit doughy but everything else was so good it didn't affect my score at all(Plus doughy just means they actually cook them there, rather than frozen Robert Sysco food.)I'm posting a picture but do know I ate quite a bit first. I was hungry and I didn't plan on sitting around, IG-ing my shrimp dish. There was a ton more shrimp, I promise.Great job. Great food. Good prices and good portions.“
“my family has been coming to hong kong restaurant for 10+ years. it's been our go-to chinese restaurants for both sit meals for special occasions as well as takeout.hong kong remains to be one of the most reasonably priced chinese restaurants by far, especially if you are eating family style with a larger group. service is not the most friendly but always efficient.our family's favorites include: salt and pepper fried fish fillet, salt and pepper pork ribs, beef chow fun, string beans, and mu shu pork.we will continue to visit hong kong with our family and friends!“
“Food is tasty and comes out quickly, lots of great dish choices and hard to go wrong with anything! Would be great if some of the meat chunks were cut slightly more bite sized, but other than that the portions were great and created an amazing family style dining experience. Would definitely love to come here again!“
“Tai Pan has been consistently excellent in the 17 or so years since it opened. It is an authentic Chinese' restaurant rather than the sugar added to all dishes 'American Chinese' that is prevalent. All dishes are exceptional. Over the years we have worked our way through the menu. Of particular note is the bok choi, chicken in lettuce cups, chicken wings, prawns in garlic and the delicious hot and sour soup“
“They always cater to all of our requests / restrictions that we have for gluten-free, dairy free and also onion free and garlic freeDietary restrictions: They always cater to all of our requests / restrictions that we have for gluten-free, dairy free and also onion free and garlic free“
“We were in the area with out of town family. We dined in for a wonderful time. Husband and I found the 2 servers were constantly involved with making sure we had filled water glasses. answering requests to have extra plate and napkins, and adding new dishes to the order. Service was equal to a 5-star restaurant. It was Christmas eve, and their attentive watchfulness was a pleasure. Love the eclectic atmosphere, the noise level was right because though I'm hearing impaired, I could hear all of the 5 people at the table!. The food was good and plentiful. Not epicurean, but tasty and enjoyable, we believe we will be back. Prices reflect that this is a sit-down restaurant. We have been there for lunch also to have a less-expensive than dinner treat..“
“Both my girls worked for PF Chang's many years ago. I haven't been in a couple of years, and when I did, it was OK.We wound up going for lunch about 2 weeks ago. This time, it was great. The temporary string beans are amazing. We had the ribs and a beef dish and 2 different chicken dishes. I'm sorry I forget all the dishes we ordered, but it doesn't matter because they were all really really good. The Palo Alto store is turning out some quality dishes! I can't wait to go back. One other thing that's important, for me that is ... usually bar Coke is bad and flat wherever you go and the Coca Cola that day, perfect.Parking: Plenty of places to park.Wheelchair accessibility: My mom is 91 and we found it very easy to get her and her chair inside.“
“Such delicious chinese food we couldn’t even believe. I brought my parents who were in town from Florida and my dad loves chinese food. After dinner he asked if we can come back the next day. Everything was so so good we were in shock. Will 100% come “
